This is an exciting new role joining Hope at Home’s Senior Leadership Team with the scope to make a real difference in people’s lives and shape the direction of the charity. You'll work closely with the Operations Director, CEO and a range of stakeholders to manage the development and day-to-day running of Hope at Home’s housing service. You will be joining the charity in an exciting period as we are embarking on setting Hope at Home’s new three-year strategy in a collaborative process that your role will directly feed into and will be guided by input from our service users.
Hours: 35 per week.
Reporting To: Operations Director but as this is a pilot project, you'll be expected to work closely with CEO and Operations Director.
Location: Home working with regular travel along M1 corridor between Sheffield and Derby, you'll need to live within 1 hours travel of these key locations.

The Role:
Planning the project set up
Over the first 6 months of the role and in conjunction with the CEO and Operations Director, you will plan and begin execution of the housing pilot. This will include the development of a fully costed project plan.
Part of the project set up will include working with a wide range of stakeholders: Local Authorities, Landlords or housing providers, Registered Providers, Funders and relevant regulatory bodies.
You will be responsible for securing the use of suitable properties, working with contractors to ensure maintenance and establishing all relevant policies and procedures to ensure legal compliance and best practice are followed as well as developing standard operating procedures for service delivery.
With excellent communication skills and working knowledge, you will establish relationships with relevant Housing Benefit departments to ensure income is secured on behalf of our residents and work on gaining Supported Exempt Accommodation Status.
Planning for service delivery
Your role will involve the development and oversight of case management support to all residents, including recruiting and line managing support workers.
Taking into account the wishes and needs of the residents, you will develop a high-quality service which meets regulatory standards and compliance with Regulator of Social Housing Standards.
As a pilot, you will work in conjunction with the Operations Director to monitor outcomes and evaluate the service to ensure we are meeting agreed expectations.

Background
The Royal Scottish Forestry Society, formed in 1854, is an educational charity focussing on promoting the understanding of trees, woods and forestry.
Every year RSFS puts on what we believe to be the most extensive programme of practical forestry events across Scotland. The Society has published a semi-academic journal, Scottish Forestry, since 1858 promoting all aspects of good practice in forestry.
Having agreed a refreshed strategy in 2023, RSFS is now looking to increase its delivery resource. Who we are looking for
You will be a personable, dynamic self-starter, used to being the first point of contact within the organisation. As RSFS is a virtual organisation, you must be highly-organised and able to work independently contributing to the overall team outcomes.
The principal functions of the role will be to support the Board in advancing its mission and representing RSFS to members and the community:
- Support our five Regions in planning and delivery of Regional Field Days and the Annual Study Tour;
- Manage the definition, planning and delivery of paid training events;
- Maintain links with members, partners, stakeholders and sector organisations;
- Develop and promote membership of the Society to a broad and relevant constituency;
- Evaluate and implement procedures for RSFS, and as appropriate for Cashel Forest Trust;
- Ensure, in conjunction with our Secretariat, that RSFS remains in compliance with prevailing laws and regulations; and
- Other duties as required by the role.

- The role is for 21 hours per week;
- A full-time equivalent salary of £45,000 to £55,000, pro rated for the contracted hours, to be agreed depending on experience;

Duties and key responsibilities
1. Trusts and Foundations
- Act as the main point of contact for trusts and foundations supporting gifts under £10,000, ensuring they receive timely and appropriate support, materials, and updates to foster successful grant applications and long-term relationships.
- Identify and research new trusts and foundations whose funding priorities align with Sarcoma UK’s mission.
- Plan and coordinate the schedule of grant applications aligning with internal priorities and submission deadlines.
- Draft compelling grant applications, ensuring high-quality submissions, and coordinate the process of application tracking and reporting.
- Maintain the existing pipeline of trust fundraising activities in Raiser's Edge, monitoring progress and ensuring follow-up actions are taken.
- Cultivate and strengthen relationships with new and existing trusts, foundations, and grant-making bodies.
- Contribute to the development and implementation of the Trusts and Foundations fundraising strategy.
- Work with the Research, Policy, and Support Services teams to arrange meetings between trust representatives and Sarcoma UK funded project leads, where appropriate.
- Collaborate with the Communications team to ensure that trust and foundation-related web pages are up-to-date and engaging.
2. Fundraising Support
Merchandise
- Manage stock by overseeing merchandise stock levels, liaising with suppliers, processing orders, and ensuring smooth fulfilment of orders.
- Manage Sarcoma UK’s online shop, ensuring it is regularly updated with accurate product listings and that orders are processed efficiently, meeting supporter expectations.
Administrative Support
- Provide general administrative support across all fundraising activities and projects as needed by the organisation.
- Produce regular reports on fundraising activities, including data from JustGiving, Enthuse, and GoFundMe, ensuring accurate tracking and evaluation.
- Contribute to the smooth running of the organisation, assisting with general administrative tasks and ensuring processes are followed consistently.
- Monitor, evaluate and analyse fundraising activities, providing insights to inform future strategies.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date records on Sarcoma UK’s fundraising database (Raiser's Edge).
Supporter Care
- Respond promptly and professionally to fundraising inquiries via post, email, and phone, offering support and guidance to donors and fundraisers.
General Fundraising Support
- Collaborate with the Philanthropy and Partnerships Manager to identify new prospects within Sarcoma UK’s supporter community.
- Work with the Communications team to identify and maximise publicity opportunities, raising awareness of Sarcoma UK’s fundraising efforts.
- Provide occasional support for Major Donor fundraising activities as needed.
- Stay up to date with the latest fundraising practices and trends ensuring Sarcoma UK’s processes and procedures align with best practices.
3. Other Responsibilities
- Build and maintain strong relationships with Sarcoma UK’s existing and potential supporters, including contacts within trusts and foundations.
- The role may require occasional travel to events and meetings across the UK, including some evening or weekend work, for which Time Off In Lieu (TOIL) will be provided.
- Adapt to the evolving needs of Sarcoma UK, taking on additional duties and responsibilities as required.

Project management
• Support GNUK’s fundraising team to prepare funding proposals for UK and overseas projects.

We are recruiting a Community Development Officer to engage key partners and stakeholders in East Midlands and Cambridgeshire tailoring support, training and education to create suicide safer communities.
What you will do:
· Identify, develop and maintain effective partnerships with local communities, volunteers and key partners across the region to engage them in the prevention of young suicide.
· Proactively promote suicide prevention including raising the profile of PAPYRUS and engaging with those personally affected by young suicide.

Responsibilities
- Ensure the safety of individuals using the vehicle, with extra care and caution when handling children
- Perform short-distance errands and long-distance trips
- Follow up on driver planning and scheduling using the project calendar and register transportation requests
- Deliver correspondence to project partners as required
- Facilitate pick-ups for project visitors and provide transportation during official visits
- Monitor vehicle mileage use and ensure routine and regular service and maintenance are carried out within required run-times

Jobholder Requirements
Essential:
- Valid driver’s license and successful completion of a driver’s test.
- Ability to complete and pass an eye test.
- Proven experience in driving safely within the laws of (Kenya) and with respect for other road users and pedestrians.
- Experience in acting as a driver for staff to carry out official duties.
- Ability to pick up Sightsavers staff to and from the airport where this service is not outsourced.
- Experience in driving vehicles for official errands.
Desirable:
- Knowledge of keeping vehicles equipped with reflectors, fire extinguishers, first aid boxes, etc., and ensuring first aid boxes are regularly checked and replenished.
- Experience in test driving vehicles once a week to ensure they are in good condition.

The service provides 10 weekly universal activities across East Ham over 49 weeks of the year for young people aged 9-19 including:

- Three youth hub session per week which includes branched off projects such as Junior Gym, screen acting, Muay Thai, healthy cookery sessions, calming crafts and sports.

About the role
We’re looking for a senior officer to join our talented and ambitious brand marketing and planning team, to work on our marketing campaigns, to support the brand strategy. It’s an exciting time to join the team, and Breast Cancer Now, as we invest in and develop our brand to deliver our ambition to be recognised as the place to turn for anything and everything to do with breast cancer.
You’ll be responsible for growing brand awareness through planning, developing and delivering brand marketing campaigns to reach target audiences. A key focus of the role will be to manage innovative brand marketing activity to create cut-through and inspire more people to engage with and support our vital work.
You’ll use your skills and experience to project manage marketing campaigns across a full range of paid and owned channels. You’ll collaborate with both in-house and external agencies to develop creative and media plans and monitor and report on campaign performance to drive maximum impact and value from our brand marketing investment.

You’re a passionate marketer, with a can-do attitude and creative mind-set, always determined to deliver the very best. You’ll have excellent experience managing innovative and impact-driven marketing campaigns from start to finish that inspire and engage target audiences.
With experience across a full range of media channels, you’ll have a strong understanding of the creative development, production and media planning processes involved in delivering a multi-channel marketing campaign. As a collaborative individual with exceptional communication skills, you’ll be confident managing external agencies and suppliers, alongside internal stakeholders at all levels.

The Energy Neighbours Information and Data Manager is responsible for setting up and managing the systems that enable all staff and organisations involved in the project to gather and use information and data. Information and Data Manager works with the Project Manager to make good use of staff and partners time through excellent information systems.
The Energy Neighbours Information and Data Manager ensures the whole team has the information and data systems they need to engage and support residents and community organisations – and be accountable to partners and funders. The Information and Data Manager ensures information and data is secure, up to date and used to improve and develop the project.
The aim is that the project starts in February 2025.

What we are looking for:
- An experienced, enthusiastic information manager
- Experience of developing and managing data systems which meet the team and project’s needs
- Advanced data management and analysis skills, able to use database systems

The Energy Neighbours project has a clear community capacity-building approach, aiming to work inclusively with communities and community organisations, listening to local priorities, experimenting and learning together, being transparent and accountable and sharing decision-making.
The project will help more community buildings and homes to be more energy efficient, by providing expertise, training, volunteering and sharing learning. Energy Neighbours supports and funds organisation development, community activities, volunteering, community business and partnership development, helping communities have a stronger voice and more capacity to impact on their priorities and concerns.
The new Energy Neighbours team includes a Project Manager, Project Coordinator and an Information and Data Manager. These three posts support four Community Energy Development Workers who work with community organisations and residents in priority areas of Kirklees. The project partners include the Kirklees Climate Commission, local experts on energy and independent evaluation support.

Your main responsibilities will be to:
Legacies
- Support and monitor a nationwide legacy marketing campaign.
- Develop and deliver stewardship programmes for individuals, legacy enquirers, and legacy pledgers.
- Develop programmes to promote legacy giving.
- Manage and maintain records of legacy enquirers, pledgers, donors, and executors.
Individual Giving
- Oversee the annual challenge and fundraising events programme.
- Oversee marketing campaigns for challenge and fundraising events.
- Provide support for a pilot donor acquisition programme.
- Undertake research on new fundraising opportunities and sources of individual giving income.
- Monitor progress of individual giving income, including working to agreed KPIs and ROI.

ABOUT THE ROLE
We are looking for a Project Assistant to support INQUEST’s National Lottery Heritage Fund project, Unlocking the INQUEST archive: memorialising death and resistance. This project encourages engagement with the INQUEST archive and memorialises state-related death and resistance through creative outputs including: 12-month consultation, artist’s residency, banner making, small scale events, archival research, film screenings and a podcast series.
Organised, motivated by logistics, system-orientated, able to react efficiently to pressure, change and multitasking, the ideal candidate will possess outstanding communications skills necessary to liaising with a varied audience, including bereaved families and other key project stakeholders. They will be experienced in handling telephone calls, email correspondence, administration systems, and key IT software packages. Working closely with the project manager and project staff, they will support all components of our heritage project, including organising events and travel, liaising with key stakeholders, project social media and general administration.
