Operations Administrator
We are looking for an Operations Administrator to join the team supporting facilities and building maintenance and offering general admin and operational support.
This role could also be full-time incorporating the HR support function, which at the moment is as separate standalone part-time role.
Position: Operations Administrator
Location: Bristol (onsite)
Hours: 15 hours per week (0.4 FTE) 7.5 hours split any days Monday – Thursday. Fridays are mandatory. (or full time hours for the HR and Operations Officer role combined)

The Role
The Operations Administrator will be responsible for the facilities, asset, and building maintenance of an owned therapy building. The Operations Administrator will understand that due to the building being used for therapeutic purposes, there will need to be clear communication between staff and suppliers on ‘quiet times’ and optimal visiting times.
Main areas of responsibility include:
- Stock control
- Maintaining relationships and organisational contracts with suppliers e.g. phone company or IT support
- Ensure office workplace health and safety standards are upheld
- Assist with operational aspects of staff away days and events e.g. venue booking and staff lunch
- Support with the set up and management of the outreach centres
- Supporting staff with internal operational enquiries
- Working closely with the Finance Manager to ensure operational expense is accurately reported
- Tracking and management of petty cash
- Finance admin support
We are advertising this as a part-time permanent role but would welcome applications for this post and the HR post as a full-time position, HR and Operations Officer, £29,000 annual salary 1.0 FTE.
Due to the nature of the role (facilities & building maintenance), remote working is not an option. Please only apply if you are able to commute to the therapy building in St Paul’s, Bristol.
About You
You will have experience in facilities/building management, administration and/or office operation OR equivalent experience, with a strong focus on overseeing administrative systems

The Role
You will be supporting the rolling recruitment programme for new Membership Fundraisers at the charity, and ensuring the headcount and pipeline of Fundraisers is kept to agreed levels and maintained. Position
Reporting into the Head of Communications, this is a strategic and hands-on management role responsible for driving ShareAction’s media function and acting as a key business partner for colleagues across the organisation. Using your experience of developing media strategies, you will advise teams on how to enhance ShareAction’s position as a thought leader on responsible investment, support organisational goals to influence decision-makers and engage target audiences and help manage ShareAction’s reputation by advising on risk and mitigation. You will line manage a Media Manager and Senior Media Officer in the UK and provide guidance to a Media Advisor in Brussels to design and deliver high-quality media relations activity and ensure the effective operation of ShareAction’s press office and internal processes, including media monitoring and reporting.
You'll play a key role in the development of campaigns to hold global companies to account for their impact on people and planet and promote research and recommendations to support our vision of a world where responsible investment is the norm. About the role
- The post holder will be responsible for developing and delivering a workforce development plan to grow and maintain a workforce to enable an all year-round multi-sport offer in our priority places.
- The post holder will be responsible for leading the design, development and delivery of the StreetGames Workforce Development offer for the network of over 400 locally trusted organisations (LTOs) in London & the Southeast.
- The post holder will work with LTOs in the StreetGames network to enable them able to access workforce development opportunities that helps them to build capability and capacity, so they are better able to utilise the power of sport to transform young lives & underserved communities – which is core to the StreetGames mission and collective End Game.
- The post holder will work together with the StreetGames training academy and the network support teams to ensure that all LTOs in the network can access the StreetGames core offer appropriate to their workforce needs.
