Role duties and responsibilities
- Manage research and impact projects and activities, internally and externally, in support of our programme delivery strategic goals.
- Develop and manage research proposals and methodologies to address strategic goals.
- Manage both primary and secondary research using a range of methodologies.
- Interpret and analyse research to derive meaningful insights and provide actionable recommendations.
- Present research findings, into clear, actionable recommendations, and compelling presentations that facilitate informed decision making across all levels of the organisation.
- Identify and recommend new research and evaluation projects and approaches which address gaps in our current evidence base.
- Engage with the Leadership team and Head of Programme Delivery to understand the organisation’s research requirements and align with organisational goals.
- Manage other researchers providing guidance and support in their professional development.
- Contribute to the research project budgeting process, ensuring efficient use of resources.
- Scope and produce ‘Invitations to Tender’ for commissioned research and manage the commissioning process, ensuring that the proposed research meets required objectives.
- Manage commissioned research contracts, including monitoring progress, reviewing and editing reports.
- Foster collaborative internal relationships to drive a culture of research driven decisions throughout the organisation.
- Build and maintain relationships with external partners and funders and communicate key findings where required.

Required/essential:
- Educated to degree level in a subject with substantial statistical or research content.
- Proven experience of working in a relevant research role.
- Experience of leading/managing a range of different research projects, using a range of both primary and secondary research methodologies to gather both qualitative and quantitative research.
- Experience in designing and leading high quality research proposals and tenders.
- Demonstratable experience and evidence of aligning research projects and activities with strategic goals and informing organisational decision making.

You will be working with colleagues across Ufi to support the early stages of the grant and support pipeline, including assessment and the VocTech Ignite programme. Overview
The Operations and Systems Manager is a key role in the Operations Team and will focus on ensuring that our staff, all home-working and many based internationally, can engage positively with Global Dialogue’s operational systems and processes. Job Description
- Responsible for the maintenance and development of systems and processes that support Global Dialogue’s operations across a range of functions.

About the role
The SPFRA, reports to the Head of Programme Finance and focuses in supporting and advising on project financial management and donor compliance to key stakeholders across the organisation. Role context:
Cord’s turnover is about £2m a year. About 85% of Cord’s funding is restricted, coming from institutional donors like the EU and the US government, and 15% (about £300K) is unrestricted coming from a committed UK supporter base and other private fundraising streams.
In 2024, Cord operates in eight countries and has offices in Burundi, Myanmar, Laos, Cambodia & Philippines. Cord has a global team of thirty people with finance staff across six country teams.
The Finance Manager role is a newly created role which is being introduced to strengthen the organisation’s financial management and control systems. The postholder will work across the breadth of the finance function preparing internal management accounts and external annual accounts.
In 2024, Cord changed its finance system to use Business Central. The Finance Manager will become the organisation’s main ‘admin’ user of the finance system. In the near-term, there will be a particular focus on rolling out further functionality of the system.

Veterans Outreach Support (VOS) is an award-winning charity that offers welfare, wellbeing and mental health support and services to veterans of the UK Armed Forces and Merchant Navy in Portsmouth, Hampshire, and the Isle of Wight. They provide a Drop-In model of support, a welfare advice service, a range of peer-supported wellbeing activities and social groups, and access to psychology, psychiatry, and therapy services.
VOS has secured additional funding from the Armed Forces Covenant Fund Trust to continue the work of the Thrive Together programme (formerly VPPP) in the South East, which is designed to bring together a network of veterans’ support agencies that will take an informed approach across the South East region to ensure that there are connected pathways, which work well for veterans; that there are safe places for veterans to go, which connect into these pathways; and that volunteers and staff who support veterans have access to training and work closely with other organisations within veterans’ mental health pathways.
The Network and Partnership Development Manager will work with the Thrive Together Portfolio Manager and manage the Thrive Together regional ‘cluster’ Partners in defined geographical regions to identify and build a meaningful network of organisations delivering support to veterans, their families and carers. The Network and Partnership Development Manager will act as deputy Thrive Together Portfolio Manager as and when required.

The Churches Conservation Trust (CCT) has an international award-winning reputation in heritage conservation and regeneration for its own estate. For this reason CCT has been contracted to deliver a programme of work for Historic Chapels Trust (HCT). HCT owns and cares for 20 of the most significant Nonconformist and Catholic chapels no longer in regular use by their congregations, all listed at Grade I and Grade II*. As a member of CCT’s national Conservation team you will be the main point of contact for all chapel maintenance related issues, liaising closely with contractors, local groups and volunteers. This role is responsible for leading the development and implementation of our financial inclusion programmes across England, Wales, Scotland and Northern Ireland, (428 food banks, running over 1300 centres), building strong partnerships and alliances to achieve our vision of a UK without the need for food banks.

Main Purpose of the Role
The Head of Volunteering will manage, develop and grow StreetVet’s Volunteer programme. They will have overall responsibility to recruit, onboard, induct, train, support, communicate with, develop and recognise volunteers as well as ensure good governance and compliance. The Head of Volunteering will act as an ambassador for volunteering across all StreetVet locations and externally. The Head of Volunteering will monitor and evaluate the impact of StreetVet’s volunteering programme and will identify and assess opportunities to develop the programme further.

• Develop and implement the StreetVet Volunteering Strategy
