The role provides the opportunity to join a small agile team at the Council of Deans of Health, the representative body for the UK’s university faculties engaged in education and research for nursing, midwifery and the allied health professions.
We are looking for someone with a broad skill set including experience in developing and delivering communications plans, strong interpersonal skills, good organisation, and clear written communication. The successful candidate will be able to balance varied tasks and provide support to colleagues in the Council of Deans of Health team.
Main responsibilities:
- Leading the Council's communications; planning and delivering communications, writing and creating content for internal and external audiences.
- Developing and implementing communications plans for our Student Leadership Programme and other externally funded projects.
- Supporting the Council's policy campaigns, themed months (such as Innovation Month), and the promotion of events.
- Supporting specific projects linked to our parliamentary and public affairs work.
- Undertake any such duties or general tasks and hours of work as may reasonably be required.
The Council has an office in Woburn House, central London although all staff are currently working in a mixed home/office working model. The postholder should therefore be able to attend the office as required. The salary for this post is £31,000 – £37,500 depending on experience. The Council offers a 10% pension contribution, flexible approaches to working, travelling opportunities and continued development.

We are looking for a Young Women & Girls Groupworker to deliver psycho-educational workshops to young women and girls, including engagement with service users prior to and, at times, following the workshops and providing information and support to enable increased engagement in the project. You will also offer a short-term counselling service for clients on the Woman’s Trust counselling waiting list following a person-centred approach, as well as the provision of some initial assessments.
This is a part-time (21 hours per week), fixed-term contract for 18 months starting from September 2024, subject to availability of funding and review.

About the role
This is an exciting opportunity to join Sustrans Cymru. We are looking for an Engineer, to support in the delivery of our innovative programme of people-focused street and route design.
As a transport charity, the focus of the work will be the integration of Placemaking as an integral part of Active Travel infrastructure projects. The principle objective of these projects will be to encourage higher levels of walking and cycling and the creation of equitable and accessible environments for all.
You will be part of a multi-disciplinary design and engineering team, working closely with partners including the Welsh Government, Transport for Wales, Welsh Local Authorities and diverse communities across Wales.
This role will require travel and work at locations as necessary to undertake projects on behalf of Sustrans.

About you
You should have experience of project management of small defined projects relating to the design of the built environment.

About Us
The Foundation of Nursing Studies (FoNS) is a charitable organisation that works across health and social care, UK-wide. For over three decades FoNS has supported nurses and midwives, and their teams to transform their ways of working towards care, practice and culture that is person-centred.
Purpose of the role
Co-production in terms of design, delivery and evaluation is fundamental to the programme, and so we are looking for a person with direct lived experience of MHLDA inpatient services to join the FoNS team and to lead on co-production, bringing a lived experience lens to our team.
As an organisation we recognise that FoNS is at the start of our co-production journey. So, whilst the primary focus of the role is leading the co-production element of the mental health programme, working closely with the programme lead, a secondary purpose is supporting the development of co-production throughout the organisation.
Responsibilities will primarily consist of:
· Working as part of the FoNS Leadership Team for the FoNS Ward Manager Programme including attending relevant meetings with NHS England
· Playing a leading role and taking operational responsibility for co-production within the FoNS Ward Manager Programme. This includes meaningful engagement of persons with lived experience of mental health, learning disabilities and autism, families and carers, and staff throughout programme design, delivery, governance and evaluation
· Working as a part of the FoNS team, bringing a lived experience lens to support, promote and develop co-production across the organisation
· Understanding lived experience from a range of sources ensuring a broad demographic is represented and feed this into the FoNS team and co-production work
· Visibly advocating for lived experience involvement for FoNS
· Contributing to the ongoing development and lived reality of the FoNS’ ways of working
· Supporting FoNS with the co-creation of their next strategy which will commence in November 2024
A picture of day-to-day working might include:
· Preparing for and contributing to relevant meetings and monthly reports for NHS England
· Contacting, building relationships with, and offering support to persons with lived experience who are already or who may be interested in contributing to the co-production work
· Working with FoNS Finance to ensure all persons involved are fairly paid for their participation
· Meeting with FoNS Ward Manager Programme Lead to discuss ideas for evaluation of the current programme to inform co-production work moving forward
· Planning and facilitating online and face-to-face groups as part of the co-production process
· Meeting with FoNS Programme Leads to develop a wider understanding of FoNS’ work

About the role

This is a varied role providing support in the day to day running of the Bristol Hub and performing an Executive Assistant function, delivering high quality and confidential support to the Executive Director (ED), with duties such as diary and email management, administration of the ED travel and expenses and other duties.

Job Purpose
Our mission is to inspire, involve and empower older people in Scotland, and influence others so that people can enjoy better later lives. To help us achieve that, our Individual Giving fundraiser will aim to acquire new donors and maximise income from existing donors.
As an Individual Giving Fundraiser you will plan, develop and implement a programme of individual giving campaigns to acquire new one-off cash and regular donors, secure repeat donations from our warm database and upgrade donors to maximise and grow our induvial giving income.
You will analyse and monitor performance of campaigns and make tactical and strategic recommendations to enhance results using the full marketing mix. You will lead on developing donor journeys for our existing and new supporters ensuring donors feel valued and understand the impact their donations make.

What you’ll do
Individual Giving
· Using a storytelling technique develop and deliver all aspects of direct marketing appeals ensuring effective and emotive copywriting and by working collaboratively with colleagues and external suppliers to deliver within budget and meet income targets.
· Co-ordinate all aspects of Age Scotland’s donor acquisition programme to develop and build our individual donor base using traditional and digital channels.
· Lead the creation and implementation of donor journeys to recruit, retain, upgrade and re-activate donors. Review and make recommendations where appropriate.
· Explore, develop and test new ways of recruiting new donors and generating income.
· Lead the creation of a strategy to re-activate lapsed donors.
· Develop and implement plans to recruits payroll giving donors.
· Work with colleagues throughout the organisation to identify, engage and cross-sell individual giving opportunities to key stakeholder groups.
· Evaluate all campaigns and prepare reports and recommendations for the development of individual giving based on data and insight.
· Provide expertise and guidance on all matters relating to Gift Aid, including maximising income, and work closely with the fundraising and database administrator to ensure gift aid declarations are processed timely and accurately.
· Project and forecast income.
· Support the development of a mid-high level donor strategy.
Fundraising administration and processes
· Work closely with the Fundraising & Marketing Assistant to warmly thank donors for their support and ensure an exceptional level of donor care.
· Capture monthly income from the different individual giving income streams on the fundraising database.
· Lead on tracking individual giving income to meet targets and ensuring costs are within budget.
· Project and forecast income and contribute to annual operating plan.
· Ensure the website is up to date with individual giving fundraising activity.
· Ensure all individual giving activity is run in compliance with the Chartered Institute of Fundraising codes of practice.
· Maintain accurate and up to date records and accept responsibility for the safe and secure handling and storage of confidential information, and in accordance with GDPR and Age Scotland’s own data protection policies.
· Work with the fundraising and database administrator to ensure gift aid claims are processed accurately and timely.
Other Duties
· When required, support in taking donations or setting up regular donations over the phone.
· During peak campaign periods support in the processing of donations.
· Attend, present and participate in events and meetings, as appropriate, to represent and promote Age Scotland’s interests.
· Work collaboratively with colleagues to ensure that each income stream feeds into and supports others so that funds are maximised.
· Ensure that all activities are carried out in accordance with relevant legal and regulatory conditions.

Imperial’s Regular Giving programme seeks philanthropic support up to £25,000 to advance the work of the university. Primarily, the programme focuses on soliciting support from alumni of the university. The Imperial Legacy team raises philanthropic income from alumni and friends who leave the university gifts in their will.
Both programmes raise funds for a variety of projects across the university including bursaries and scholarships, enhancing the student experience and Faculty level support.
Duties and responsibilities
• Act as first contact for all fundraising related queries (by telephone, email, post and in person); liaise across the Division and with Communications and Public Affairs to draft and send appropriate responses.
• Support Regular Giving and Legacy teams with general administrative and office duties such as booking meeting rooms, organising catering and audio visual facilities.
• Provide diary management and PA support to the Head of Regular Giving and Legacy Giving.
• Support the planning and execution of telethon fundraising campaigns, and direct marketing fundraising appeals, including researching and collating case studies
• Maintain the Regular Giving and Legacy team’s budgets. Ensure budgets are adhered to by reconciling accounts on a monthly basis.
