• Ensuring effective Administrative Processes within FIGO (incl. meetings support, notetaking, communication, facilities management) 

• Supporting the Human Resources function at FIGO (incl. recruitment, BREATHE HR and training) 

• Coordination of Health and Safety/Fire Safety Support

Bowel Cancer UK is the UK’s leading bowel cancer charity. We’re determined to save lives and improve the quality of life of everyone affected by bowel cancer. We support and fund targeted research, provide expert information and support to patients and their families, educate the public and professionals about the disease and campaign for early diagnosis and access to best treatment and care.

The Research Officer will report into the Head of Research and provide a wide and extensive range of administrative support to the charity’s research grant programme. This includes supporting and taking responsibility of aspects of the grant review process, maintaining grant records and organising meetings. The post holder will liaise with bowel cancer researchers and clinicians and our research committee members. The post holder will need to be a team player with excellent communication and people skills and must be proactive, resilient, and capable of organising and managing a varied workload.  We’re looking for someone who can hit the ground running, someone who is passionate about science and ideally with some experience of grant administration.

As Complex Needs Community Keyworker you will provide one-to-one support to women on Probation living in the community, and women being released from Prison as part of their Post Sentence Supervision. You’ll provide focused support in identifying their needs and empowering them to access appropriate services in the community. You will also provide some in-reach and ‘Through the Gate’ support prior to women being released from prison.

You will manage a caseload of women with complex needs who are facing housing issues and provide them with advice, guidance and support that helps them connect with other support services in the community that can assist them to overcome barriers when securing safe and appropriate housing.

The role involves a significant amount of data recording and updating case management systems so you need to be prepared to spend a minimum of 35% of your working hours on this aspect and will need to manage your time effectively to meet the data management requirements. This is also a predominantly independent role, so you will need to be confident to make decisions and able to manage your own workload.

You will be employed by One Small Thing but will be part of a wider team of Community Keyworkers employed by our partner Advance. You will also have a desk space at Hope Street, Southampton, to facilitate close working with the rest of the Hope Street team.

You will be required to participate in training and team building events with the wider One Small Thing team as well as the Advance team, in Hampshire.

This post requires that you are able to drive and have access to your own vehicle; there may be occasions where you are required to support residents to attend appointments. You will also be required to attend local or county meetings or training.

• Previous experience in shift leading, supervising team members in the absence of the Registered Manager / Assistant Manager, including contribution to assessment and appraisal of the team.
• Have a sound knowledge around the safeguarding of the young people that we support.
• A good standard of written English and IT skills would be essential, you will be writing reports and keeping record of the Children and Young Peoples progress.
• Transporting children / young people to an activity or school is a requirement. A driving licence that has been held for 12 months would be desirable.

Your role in our mission…
As the team deliver an ambitious 5-year plan aimed at increasing share of voice, audience and income, you will play a vital role as you lead on the digital marketing strategy and oversee implementation to acquire and retain supporter audiences across the Marie Curie product portfolio.

You will manage a team of Digital Marketing Specialists within the Marketing and Communications team as well as working closely with colleagues across the organisation - including Fundraising, Retail, Caring Services, Information and Support, Technology and Transformation and CRM.

You will create and lead digital marketing initiatives for growth across all digital platforms, leading on developing and implementing Marie Curie's overall digital marketing strategy across social media, email and our website to drive brand recognition, donations, community engagement, service awareness and other ways to support (such as shopping or campaigning) alongside managing the day to day for email marketing, social media (organic and paid), website content, SEO and paid search.

You will set the strategy for 'always on' digital acquisition and conversion activity - targeting key opportunities and acting with agility to reposition budget and take full advantage of any opportunities across digital quickly and effectively.

You will leverage our new brand to test creative approaches to understand what resonates with prioritised audiences. You will build a test and learn plan and execute this to ensure that Marie Curie truly understands what works and what doesn't across all digital channels. Crucially, you will be responsible for working with product owners in Fundraising on digital service delivery to grow and develop relationships with supporters and hit financial targets.

Key Criteria:
* Proven digital expertise, with a strong understanding of best practice in marketing activations and communications and experience of drawing up digital marketing strategies across a complex product portfolio.
* Demonstrable track record in in delivering marketing results in a user focused environment. With confidence in working to robust KPIs and key analytics to demonstrate progress in revenue, audience and engagement and digital campaign results so that teams can learn from tests and results.
* Ability to digest complex data, extract key insights to inform strategies and campaigns and turn findings into clear actions is important, as are strong project and campaign management skills.
* A highly effective communicator with the ability to manage stakeholder expectations, you are skilled in managing and leading others to develop testing plans and optimise campaigns.

Derby Family Drug and Alcohol Safeguarding Service specializes in working with parents, families, and young people across a range of home and community settings supporting parents to build insight into the impact of parental substance misuse whilst developing safety and risk management strategies to minimize risk to the wider family. The support package includes person-centered 1:1 intervention as well as peer groups, YP activities, and educational parenting courses.

Right now, we’re looking for an energetic, self-confident and flexible individual to develop and implement a participation plan and co-production and support the delivery of a volunteer programme across the service. Among your challenges will be the need to ensure general service user participation and empowerment is implemented across the service to help adults and young people who use it have input into service delivery decision making and development. You’ll also be responsible for supporting the recruitment, placement and retention of volunteers. And, when it comes to creating a strategy for obtaining service user feedback or playing your part in wider organisational forums and groups, again, we will count on you to deliver.

To succeed, you’ll need broad experience of working with volunteers/peer mentor service users and promoting their needs, including within the substance misuse sector. A good understanding of the functional approach to substance misuse and the harm caused to individuals, families and communities by substance misuse and gambling will be key to your success, as will a commitment to the Recovery Agenda. Great at engaging with clients, you have what it takes to communicate and work effectively with people at all levels and from diverse backgrounds. What’s more, you work well both independently and as part of a team and are adept at prioritising, planning and managing your workload. A willingness to work evenings and weekends and travel, mostly locally, is also required.

This is a fixed term part time role funded until 31st March 2025 and requiring the post holder to work 22.5 hours per week.

The role is generally between office hours of 9am-5pm with some occasional flexibility to support groups / activities in evenings if required as part of core working hours arrangement.

An Opiate Recovery Coordinator is needed to provide psychosocial treatments to clients at a service in Central London.

We need you to be passionate about working with people to improve services, you will need an excellent understanding of working with diverse communities within various areas of the County. You will also demonstrate a passion work to build relationships and networks both internally and externally with funders, commissioners and partners within relevant sectors.

The Well Placed is a new non-profit working with leading UK charities to create a stepping stone into the charity sector for marketers who want work with purpose.

The Opportunity

A 6-month work placement with the Women's Institute starting this November.

Trade commercial expertise for invaluable insights into charity structures, funding models, cultural nuances and gain tangible deliverables showcasing impact. The experience will deepen your understanding of the charity sector and the preferences of hiring managers.

The salary is £21,995 per annum for 24 hours per week based on a full-time salary of £32,076. The role is hybrid and the successful candidate is expected to work from the Cardiff office a minimum one day a week. This role requires marketing experience to develop the membership of the WI in Wales.
