Main Purpose of Job

The Young Carers Project Worker will be responsible for planning, orgnaising and delivering sessions for young carers in the Northolt and Greenford areas of Ealing. They will provide individual and group support in a variety of settings in the local community as well as working closely with schools to identify new young carers and drive referrals to the project.

About You

You will have experience of working with young people, and building postive relationships with them. You will also have knowledge in working and setting up youth clubs.

The postholder will have a good understanding ofproject management, meeting deadlines and planning and delivering on sessions. 

Good communication skills is essential, with the experience of building positive relationships with young people. You should also have an ability to deal calmly and effectivelly with emotional and challenging situations with participants, as well as having a commitment to equalities, and challenging discrimination and creating environments of respect and trust. 

This role will invovle working evenings (once a week), school holidays (daytime) and occasional weekends (ad-hoc e.g. chaperone football matches).

Premier League Stadium Fund Technical Manager (Midlands and East of England)

£37,000 - £45,000 per annum (dependent on relevant experience and skills) plus generous benefits

The role will be home-based, but geographically will be required to cover clubs and leagues based in the Midlands and the East of England.

Regular travel to clubs’ stadiums will be required, as well as occasional travel to our office at Wembley Stadium in London.

We currently have a vacancy in the Premier League Stadium Fund for a Technical Manager to support the Stadium Accreditation Programme and to support the assessment of applications to  the Premier League Stadium Fund.

About the Premier League Stadium Fund

The Premier League Stadium Fund is fully funded by the Premier League and is delivered and administered by the Football Foundation. It provides financial support to clubs throughout the football pyramid. As well as continuing to fund ground-grading requirements, the Premier League Stadium Fund includes a Club Development Fund to help clubs grow and enhance sustainability.

The Premier League Stadium Fund awards capital grants to clubs to support improvement of their stadium facilities for players, supporters and officials. Funding is available to clubs who play in Steps 1 to 6 of the National League System, Tiers 1 to 4 of the Women’s Football Pyramid and clubs promoted into the English Football League.

The role

Working as part of a team of Technical Managers, you will support our Stadium Accreditation Programme and will lead on the technical/construction aspects of Premier League Stadium Fund grant projects.

Stadium Accreditation

You will support the Stadium Accreditation Programme by helping establish new ways of working following the initial assessment of approximately 1,000 stadiums across England and Wales. You will have responsibility for a set of leagues and clubs across the Midlands and the East of England and you will work with them to ensure their compliance while also delivering against the objectives outlined within the new Premier League Stadium Fund Facilities Strategy.

Grant Management

You will also be responsible for the scrutiny of the technical and construction aspects of Premier League Stadium Fund grant applications and ensuring the successful completion of new and improved stadium facilities. As part of this process, you will provide professional advice and guidance to applicants to assist with the development of capital projects, within the National League System (NLS) and Women’s Football Pyramid (WFP).

You will work with clubs to ensure that solutions can be found to address the findings of the Stadium Accreditation Programme, and will then carry out a technical assessment of any grant applications made by those clubs. Following the allocation of any funding, you will help to oversee the construction process to ensure that the build is completed to programme.

 

What are we looking for?

You’ll need a construction-related degree or professional qualification (for example RICS, CIOB, RIBA or equivalent), or the equivalent experience in a construction management or technical role. You’ll have expertise in construction processes, and experience of delivering facilities from inception to completion. Experience in sports facility construction is desirable but not essential.

You must also have great people skills and the ability to inspire and engage people at all levels, from clients and suppliers to volunteers, whilst also being confident in dealing with conflict and challenging situations. You’ll have strong organisational skills and a keen attention to detail with the ability to analyse complex situations and make tough decisions. You’ll be flexible and open to new ways of doing things, including new technologies, so that the Premier League Stadium Fund and the Stadium Accreditation programme continue to improve.

Purpose of job:

The Partnerships Manager will take responsibility for managing relationships with global corporate partners, throughout the year and for Comic Relief campaigns. They will lead the creative development of Comic Relief’s Red Nose Day merchandise range in collaboration with one of our strategic retail partners.

The UK & International Finance Manager is responsible for the comprehensive financial management, planning, monitoring, and reporting of daily financial activities across HQ and country programmes. This includes providing advice to senior management on financial strategies.

1. Manage the Muslim Aid HQ Finance function, ensuring continuous financial review including costs and revenue recognition.
2. Responsibility for all month end process in monthly management accounts reporting.
3. Prepare management accounts including analysis of variances and reporting to budget holders, LT and Board.
4. Ensuring UK & International purchase invoices and payment vouchers are correctly coded, authorised, recorded on the finance system, payment and dealing with queries within a timely manner.

Join Britain’s biggest charity supporting Kinship Carers. 

We know kinship carers are strong, capable and fiercely determined to ensure they get what they need to support their kinship family. And we want to support them to feel confident and empowered to do that. Kinship has been awarded funding to develop the first ever training programme for kinship carers. As part of this new training service, you’ll receive training and development to support you to succeed in this role.

There will be some travel across England either to support the training programme, meet with colleagues or attend learning and development sessions. This may include overnight stays from time to time. We’re happy to discuss how this could work best if you have kinship caring responsibilities.

The NSPCC is looking for an experienced, and enthusiastic manager to join their Supporter Development team in a exciting role focussing on our cash and upgrade campaigns. Reporting to the Associate Head of Supporter Development, the successful candidate and their team will be responsible for the management of several Supporter Development campaigns across our cash programme.

The Supporter Development team focusses on engaging existing supporters to build loyalty and maximise long term income for the NSPCC. General Function:

The Senior Business Associate will work for the Europe & Eurasia Programme Management Unit (PMU) and will provide the highest standards of financial and administrative support to European funded Internews EE Programmes. We are looking for a responsible and professional individual to perform a variety of financial and administrative tasks. Duties of the Senior Business Associate will include the financial administration of current projects, oversight of project budgets and partner spending, facilitation of payment requests, budgetary projections and other financial and administrative duties that may be required during this period.

The Senior Business Associate will work closely with the Senior Programme Officer, the Senior Business Officer and the Programme Finance Analyst to provide timely and quality support to programmes as required.

 

Key Responsibilities:

· Financial administration of Internews’s projects:

· Review project expenditure and ensure accuracy of coding.

· Manage cash-flow to ensure the availability of project funds at Internews’ offices.

· Work with Programme Finance Business Partners (PFBPs) to prepare financial reports for donors, prepare notes for financial reports, and ensure that costs are reported in compliance with donor requirements.

· Monitor co-financing plans.

Budget oversight:

· Review budget-versus-actuals and facilitate forecasting in line with project activities.

· Support partners with budget planning.

· Align internal templates to donor formats for effective monitoring and reporting.

· Sub-grants:

· Support Internews’ partners to prepare budgets under sub-grant agreements.

· Review financial reports from partners when required and coordinate corrections as required.

Payments and administration:

· Coordinate payment requests to London, including reviews, confirmations, and follow-ups.

· Monitor donor income and prepare requests for disbursements to donors.

· Review and verify suppliers’ invoices to London HQ and Internews’ accounting department in California.

· Support Accounting field teams in terms of induction and refreshment training regarding Internews and donors’ procedures and policies.

· Budget development: work closely with Programme Officer, Senior Business Officer and country offices to develop budgets for new proposals. Coordinate on the development of co-financing approaches and plans for opportunities with the European Commission and other European donors.

· Other tasks: participate in project audits carried out at the HQ as required by the London finance controls team; other financial and administrative may be assigned as required, including the preparation of requests for Personal Service Contracts.

Requirements:

· Relevant degree (preferable) in Accounting, Business Administration or Financial management.

· Qualification in Accounting (Knowledge of ERP (Agresso) will be a plus)

· At least three years of experience working in a similar capacity.

· Experience with European funders (European Commission, SIDA, FCDO, GIZ etc.)

· Proficiency in MS Office. Advanced proficiency in MS Excel.

· Fluency in English (both written and spoken).

· Knowledge of Russian will be a plus.

· Creative and a good team player.

· Excellent multitasking skills.

· Good prioritization skills and the ability to solve immediate problems.

To this end, WWF has a long-standing partnership with Marks and Spencer (M&S) to promote sustainable and responsible seafood production and consumption in the UK. As Seafood Sustainability Officer you will help ensure this partnership is a success.

As Seafood Sustainability Officer, we want you to lead delivery of the sustainable seafood workstream in the WWF- M&S partnership and work to promote sustainable seafood production and consumption. This will involve developing plans and actions to achieve responsible sourcing of seafood with M&S as well as analysing and assessing environmental impacts and identifying suitable improvement work. You will collaborate with food businesses to materialise sectoral transformational changes and advocate for radical reforms of fisheries and seafood related policies at the national, regional and international level. You will commission and manage research and studies to deliver specific seafood programme objectives too. You will also collaborate with colleagues to ensure the deliveries of seafood improvement and advocacy work as well as communicate issues of importance to the seafood programme in-line with our overarching food sustainability strategies.

To play a part in building back nature, you must have a relevant degree or experience of seafood supply chains, aquaculture, fisheries and/or marine science in public, private, academic or NGO sectors. This will have given you sound knowledge of seafood markets and supply chains as well as aquaculture and fisheries policies. Used to engaging with internal and external stakeholders you will have excellent communication and relationship building skills. Capable of analysing scientific evidence and data you will be comfortable understanding, absorbing and synthesising complex information, and translating it into impactful policy, advice and communications.
