About the role:
We are looking for a Team Leader to manage the team based in Preston covering South and Central Lancashire, supporting victims of all risk levels. It is a very busy service and a demanding role and you will need to have lots of passion, experience, drive and resilience to ensure that your team are supported effectively and delivering good quality services.
As a Team Leader you will be Supporting a team of 6-8 staff providing expert advise and guidance and conducting robust case management to ensure that your team are providing quality services and addressing the needs and risks of our clients.
You will need:
- An IDVA accreditation or equivalent
- Experience of managing a team of a similar size and scope in a comparable service.
- An extensive understanding of domestic abuse, risk assessment and risk management including experience of working with high risk victims and/or perpetrators of domestic abuse, those with complex needs and/or challenging behaviour.
- The ability to build relationships with key stakeholders and develop multi-agency responses to support victims and reduce the harm they potentially face
- The ability to advocate and appropriately challenge agencies in order to achieve positive outcomes and reduce the risks posed to victims
- To be flexible, adaptable and highly resilient.

The Role
The postholder is responsible for the effective development and delivery of our Income Generation (including retail) and Marketing Strategies to ensure growth in income and in reach. Providing line management support to senior staff within the team, the postholder is also responsible for ensuring effective setting and management of budgets and compliance with regulations that apply to our fundraising activities. As part of the senior leadership team to contribute to strategic direction and day to day operational management of the charity.

ABOUT THE DUAL DIAGNOSIS WORKER ROLE
We are looking for a Substance Misuse Worker on a 12 months Fixed Term Contract. In this role, you will support people with complex needs, including substance misuse and mental health issues, to recover and live independently. You will work in a team to provide caring, person-centred support. You will help people build strength, learn new skills, and reach their goals for a better future.
Penrose Miller House: Is a 27 bed residential property which specialises in forensic mental health, complex needs and dual diagnosis. The team offers psychologically-informed housing and resettlement support that comes with additional help for individuals’ specific needs. Our forensic mental health step-down services consist of four individual sites which cater for high and medium support for both, men and women.
Shift Pattern: 12 months Fixed Term Contract - Full time: 37.5 hours per week. Hours to be discussed, you will be based in service.

We are seeking someone who is a confident communicator who will engage with the community to deliver informal training and encouraging referrals to the Green Doctor programme.

About the Role
The Supported Lodgings service provides accommodation for Care Leavers and Young people at risk of homelessness aged 16-21 young people in the homes of vetted and trained Community Hosts. This service will provide structured support packages enabling young people to develop a range of skills as they move towards independent living.
The role is a busy and varied one. You will be responsible for ensuring all young people referred to the service, are assessed, supported and placed effectively with their hosts. In addition, you will be responsible for overseeing the recruitment, training and management of hosts, as well as promoting the service to key stakeholders, and supporting young people directly.
Your work will be underpinned by Depaul’s Endeavour model of assets-based, psychologically informed delivery. The aim of this is to ensure that every young person leaves the service with the skills and resilience to be confident and self-determining in their lives.
Working under the direction, guidance and support of the Deputy Supported Lodgings Manager and the Greater Manchester Prevention Team you will be responsible for young people needing longer-term placements, as well as sharing responsibility for the safety and wellbeing of all hosts and staff at the service.
Key responsibilities include:
- First point of contact for young people and referral partners.
- Assess needs and risks, ensuring suitable safeguarding and placements.
- Arrange young people’s stays, ensuring support and a welcoming environment.
- Ensure health and safety through regular checks and reporting.
- Support young people in preparing for independent living and long-term housing.
- Participate in a 24-hour on-call service.
- Recruit, vet, and train hosts, ensuring policy compliance.
- Conduct host accommodation checks and assist with improvements.
- Work with the council and agencies to support young Care Leavers.
- Promote and expand the Supported Lodgings service.
About You
You will need to have the following skills and experience:
- Experience and an understanding of working with Care Leavers, young people experiencing homelessness, unaccompanied asylum seekers or people in crisis
- Experience in supporting young people with their support needs, working closely with other key professionals.
- Experience in writing, implementing and evaluating risk assessments
- Experience in supervising or supporting hosts or staff
- An understanding and commitment to working in an assets-based way

Support Coordinator

The Role

The successful candidate will be a creative, digital native social media expert who can help to take our social media content to the next level, helping us to reach and influence our most important audiences.

You will have:
- An understanding of the issues young people face, specifically in relation to young people in areas of deprivation.
- Experience in working with targeted groups or individuals in areas of deprivation through building positive relationships and mentoring.
- An understanding of safeguarding and health and safety in a youth work setting.
- A proven ability to work under pressure to tight deadlines.
- A commitment to supporting young people and the principles of equality and diversity.
- Self-motivated and the ability to work on own initiative.
- Excellent communication skills, including written, telephone and interpersonal skills.
- Proven planning and organization skills.
- IT literate.
- Full UK driving license.

They now require a new Head of Philanthropy to work in lockstep with programmes and young people to unlock bigger gifts and more philanthropy relationships than ever before.
The Head of Philanthropy will develop and lead the existing major gifts strategy, personal managing a portfolio of prospects that give or are about to give and lead a team managing a range of philanthropy supporters. You will set ambitious KPIs for the team and ensure delivery against them and will build productive relationships with volunteers, committee members and Board members alongside programmatic colleagues and other fundraisers.
You will have proven success in high level five figure or six figure gifts from individuals and will be able to demonstrate a track record in identifying and maintaining external relationships with HNWIs. The selected candidate will have experience of taking strategic, high-level ideas and creatively tailor them to prospect’s and young people’s priorities.
