As a compassionate Point of Entry Mental Health Practitioner, you’ll help provide advice, guidance and potentially urgent mental health support to those in need in our local communities. Your role will help support people find the most appropriate mental health service in Swindon, whether internally to S&G Mind or externally to our many key stakeholder partners/providers across the county.

- Compassionate Caller Support: You'll handle a variety of incoming calls, providing a compassionate ear to individuals seeking advice, guidance or urgent mental health support. Your person-centered approach will offer immediate and practical help, aligning with the principles of positive mental health and evidence based-interventions.
- Connecting People to the Right Care: You’ll play a vital role in guiding callers to the most appropriate mental health services in Swindon. Whether referring internally to S&G Mind or externally to key stakeholder partners, you’ll ensure each person is connected to the right support.
- Holistic Assessment & Planning: Using collaborative framework across the healthcare system, such as ‘Safety Planning’ and ‘Your Team, Your Conversation, Your Plan’ frameworks, you’ll assess and understand each caller’s unique needs, ensuring timely and appropriate responses that prioritise their mental health.

Role Overview:

We are seeking an enthusiastic Admin Officer with excellent organisational and communication skills to act as the first point of contact for PSC members, supporters and the general public. You will be responsible for providing information relating to the campaign and PSC’s activities,
Duties and responsibilities include:

- Dealing with incoming enquiries via email and phone, meeting and greeting visitors and volunteers to the office and accepting deliveries (this will involve heavy lifting).
- Processing payments and accurately recording transactions onto databases, following PSC’s data protection and security policy. Experience of a CRM is essential.
- Inputs information quickly and accurately from a variety of sources into membership database.
- Supporting our finance officer with banking and petty cash, this is essential part of the role.
- Supporting our e-comms officer with stock take and updating stock on our online shop, familiarity with Shopify or an ecommerce platform would be desirable.
- Completes regular office stock count and monitors merchandise stock levels, placing orders with suppliers and tracking process from order to delivery, completing any expenses documents as necessary, following finance procedures.
- General office tasks including maintaining paper and electronic files, maintenance of IT equipment (including phones, printer, laptops and desktops), logging faults and liaising with technical support and suppliers as required.
- Provides administrative support, including assisting with booking meeting rooms, preparing documents, ordering stationery and office supplies, as and when required.
- Updating events on our website, familiarity with WordPress would be desirable.
- Supporting PSC events and demos, including venue hire and event logistics, monitoring event booking and preparing registration lists
- At present, a significant amount of time is spent with demonstration preparation, this involves heavy lifting and running stalls at our demos. This is an essential part of the role. We have a generous TOIL policy in place for any work undertaken in excess of normal working hours
- Organising and coordinating volunteers for both office and PSC demos and events.

To be successful you will have:

- Provide one to one support to children and young people put in, and on occasions you may need to support with group work to children and young people.

The Woodland Trust is looking for a Partnership Lead – Tree Equity (known internally as Tree Equity Lead) in our Wales team to lead the influencing and supporting of local and planning authorities, groups and communities across Wales so that they can realise the multiple benefits of trees and woods.
The Role:
• In particular, this role will collaborate with and develop local partnerships to embed the protection and expansion of tree cover in local policy and practice, with a particular focus on protecting and increasing urban tree cover in areas of low tree equity.
• Manage the Trust’s involvement in key partnership projects and ensure that the benefits and learnings of this demonstrator activity is communicated with impact across the networks of local decision-makers in Wales.
• This role will be the Trust’s lead advocate for tree equity and urban trees in Wales, inspiring and working closely with others, both internally and externally, on urban tree matters. Collaborate with colleagues across the UK to maximise the Trust’s UK-wide impact and deliver against UK programmes such as Tree Equity.
• Provide expert support, training and advice to local decision-making and community audiences on the value of trees and woods, their planting and protection and where necessary, procure and manage consultants, agents and technical specialists to support.
• This role is based in Wales and will require the successful candidate to travel around the country.
The Candidate:

This is an opportunity to join Refuge as an Health Advocate Educator supporting women and children who are impacted by domestic violence.
The Health Advocate Educator will train and provide ongoing support to GP practices and other health professionals to enable primary and secondary care staff to be able to effectively talk to their patients about domestic violence and abuse (DVA), provide early identification and offer appropriate care pathways for female, male and non-binary survivors of domestic violence and abuse, aged 16 years and over and their children.
The post holder will work in partnership with the local ICB and the service manager to proactively develop and maintain links with health providers in the local area.The post-holder will work within a defined locality, either Stratford-upon-Avon District; North Warwickshire and Nuneaton and Bedworth, or Warwick District and Rugby borough; building links with health professionals and support agencies.
Travel around Warwickshire for client appointments essential to role, therefore use of a car essential.
As part of this role, you will be required to participate in an out-of-hours on call rota.
This post is restricted to women due to the nature of the role. The Occupational Requirement under Schedule 9 (part 1) of the Equality Act 2010 applies.

We have an exciting opportunity for a Children’s & Youth Worker to join our team at Oasis Church Waterloo, to work with our under-18s and their families. The postholder will have particular responsibility for developing the children’s and youth provision at Oasis Church Waterloo, leading the team delivering children’s and youth work on Sundays and also deepening relationships with our church families during the week. The Church Children and Youth Worker will also be responsible for developing and expanding the integrated children’s and youth provision across the Waterloo Hub, with significant input into developing school families support work and developing the staff and volunteer team.
Key responsibilities of this role will be:
· Working with our church ministers and volunteer children’s/youth team leaders to develop our children’s and youth work strategy, in line with the Hub Vision (and with the ethos and values of Oasis), that delivers holistic support for children and young people across the local community and recognises their hopes and aspirations.
· Working with our church ministers and children’s/youth workers across the Oasis Church Network to develop a curriculum for our work with under-18s in church.
- Encouraging the ethos of Oasis in the schools, supporting the development and delivery of Oasis Nine Habits resources.
The successful post holder must have:
· A relevant professional qualification in Youth & Community (JNC) or Teaching (QTS) or Social Work (QSW) at DipHE level or above, relevant NVQ (Level 3) or be able to demonstrate qualification by experience
· Proven experience in managing children’s work and youth work sessions
· Proven experience in management of volunteers
· Able to demonstrate full commitment to/embrace the ethos and values of Oasis

It operates the National Gambling Helpline, delivers free treatment services across multiple regions in Great Britain, and raises awareness about gambling harms through a variety of prevention-based programmes.
The role
This is a great time to join GamCare as we are growing the reach of our services. We are looking for Gambling Support Practitioners with qualifications or experience in health or social care, and an empathic style to enable people to change their behaviour through skilled intervention.
Crucially, you will ensure that psychosocial, and recovery support interventions are delivered as part of a cohesive recovery plan while working collaboratively with external and partner organisations to achieve positive outcomes for service users.
There will be lots of opportunity to participate in service promotion, networking activities and events to support the visibility of the service, as well as developing relationships with local services and communities to strengthen pathways into the service.
We are looking for an individual to work full-time, which will include 3 days 9-5pm and 2 days 12-8pm per week (fixed), Monday to Friday, however due to possible requirements of the service, potentially occasional Saturdays (9-2pm remotely). Another day off would be agreed on during the week.
About you
You should have significant experience in individual client work in the field of addictions, mental health or a social care setting with adults or young people. You should be flexible in using a range of low and high-intensity interventions and modalities including cognitive behavioural tools (CBT).
You will need to live at a reasonable distance from the GamCare London office due to expectations of working from the office when required, as well as being able to travel to other locations across Greater London to deliver services or attend community events.

The Role
As a Senior Recovery Coordinator, you will work as part of a team to provide collaborative recovery planning and case management to substance misusers (drug and alcohol) across all stages of individuals’ recovery journeys, from assessment and engagement through to sustained recovery.
Some key duties are below:
- Manage a service user caseload, devising, implementing and reviewing on-going recovery plans and treatment.
- Reduce substance related harm to the individual and wider community.
- Carry out triage/screening assessments and comprehensive assessments with service users.
- You will co-ordinate and support a team of apprentices through informal line management support and coaching.
- Liaise with Active management team across hubs to ensure apprentices are receiving support in the hub, shadowing opportunities and have a clear development plan.
