Chell Perkins Ltd are looking for FOUR people who are passionate about bringing positive change through fundraising. We want to nurture a new generation of fundraisers to provide charities with access to exceptional fundraising support.
We offer a four-month/16-week fully paid traineeship (approx £1,733pm gross) working with real clients in a fundraising consultancy and gaining a recognised certificate with education credits towards CFRE to give you a real headstart in working in the charity sector. There are a number of vacancies at Chell Perkins, and at the end of the course trainees will be eligible to apply for a permanent position.
This immersive programme starts on 1st September 2025 and is home-based, with high-quality training and plenty of support from our experienced fundraising team.

Client mix
Candidates should be aware that at present 70% of our partner charities come from a Christian background (churches or Christian charities). While it is not a requirement to be Christian, candidates must be happy to write for a faith-based audience.
Further information
This role is home-based; however, we hold quarterly in-person team days, and you may occasionally be required to work from client sites (nationally, with a North West focus).
The traineeship will start on 1 September and will run until 19 December 2024. Candidates must be available to start on the first day of the traineeship. Interviews and offers will take place from March onwards.

Age UK is recruiting for a Senior Data Analyst (Modelling and Analytics) to join our Data Team to lead, develop and implement advanced statistical models and predictive analytics to uncover insights and drive strategic decision-making.
This role will involve analysing large datasets, using an awareness of evolving marketing requirements, understanding the past to help forecast future trends and delivering actionable insights for the organisation to deliver. Covering many aspects of analysis, not just modelling, you will need to work closely with different teams across Age UK Group, including fundraising, our commercial product suite and our National Services.
You will be familiar with sophisticated modelling techniques such as propensity modelling, and techniques like logistic regression or decision tree analysis to enable classification or probability prediction tasks. You will be expected to ensure data quality, validate your models and to continuously innovate the analytical approaches used within the organisation, working closely with immediate team members to create the optimum data analysis capability for Age UK's needs.
Communication skills are essential for this role, simplifying complex results for non-technical stakeholders to enable the insights derived to be actioned by the business stakeholders.

We operate a hybrid-working model, a blend of home and office working. This role will include regular days working from our London office. Travel costs to the London office are the responsibility of the postholder and are not covered by the charity.
Must haves:
- Proficiency in application of statistical analysis and data modelling in relation to campaign analysis, customer profiling, segmentation and propensity modelling.
- Extensive use of statistical or database software, i.e. SPSS / SAS / T-SQL / R, to manipulate large-scale datasets extracted from relational databases.
- Strong numerate / statistical background, with a demonstrable ability to undertake analysis and synthesis of large volumes of data and information, evidencing the ability to collect, organise, analyse and disseminate significant amounts of information - qualitatively, quantitatively, or both.
- An effective communicator, verbally and in writing, able to work collaboratively demonstrating excellent diplomatic and interpersonal skills, both to enable technical collaboration and to help the wider organisation understand and use the data analysis results.
- Experience of promoting culture change across teams; driving collaborative projects; and overseeing new processes & systems.
- Ability to manage multiple projects, identifying conflicting demands and establishing clear priorities in order to meet agreed objectives.
- Experience with MS Power BI.
- Experience utilising a data platform, such as Azure Databricks.
- MS Office applications.
- A degree or equivalent in a numerate discipline i.e. Maths or Statistics

We’re looking for a Pets and Housing Development Lead, who will play a pivotal role in our projects, which strive to ensure owners and their pets stay together during difficult times.
What does this role do?
As Pets and Housing Development Lead, you’ll:
- manage the continuous development of our Pets and Housing services and projects, including leading on a critical new project moving our data to Salesforce,
- cultivate and maintain key external relationships, such as engaging veterinary practices signed up to our schemes or other organisations in the sector that we partner with,
- develop and create social media content to build the online presence our services have,
- work closely with the PR team to promote our services, from writing press releases to carrying out interviews, to ensure our work reaches the audiences where it can have the most impact.

To be successful in this role, you’ll need some experience of project management, as you’ll be working on some big projects that require significant planning and stakeholder management. Excellent communication skills are key, with the ability to build relationships and rapport with external and internal stakeholders at all levels. A strong understanding of social media, PR and online search engine optimisation would be very helpful. Above all, being passionate about the work we do for pets and their owners is essential.
What do we do?
The outreach department supports people and dogs in crisis, such as those escaping domestic abuse or experiencing homelessness. These specialist services reduce the need for someone to unnecessarily relinquish or euthanise their dog due to the crisis they may be facing. They include Freedom, a specialist dog fostering service for people fleeing domestic abuse, and Pets and Housing projects that support people and their dogs experiencing homelessness and advocating for people to be accommodated with their pets at all stages of their housing journey.

Job Summary

Purpose of the role
The role of the Project Officer – CSO Services will lead on the coordination and management of international pro bono legal opportunities. The Project Officer – CSO Services will work as part of the wider PBLS team on such projects.

- Prompt processing of transactions

- Recording gift aided donations on Giveclarity for claim from HMRC
Support the Operations & Office Manager in the day-to-day office operations
