Our client is looking to recruit a Grant Manager to manage and develop a portfolio of grants, focusing in particular on two of the Foundations four grant-making Programmes: Enabling disadvantaged children and young people to fulfil their potential (with a focus on education attainment, employability, wellbeing and youth development); and Health and Wellbeing.
The Foundation’s approach to grant-making is distinctive, in that it focuses on capacity building to strengthen the impact, effectiveness and/or sustainability of non-profit organisations so they can thrive and fulfil their mission and goals.

The role:

Working closely with the Head of the UK Programmes, the Grant Manager will be responsible for the development, delivery, and management of a significant portfolio of grants across the UK Foundation’s priority programme areas, with a focus on health and wellbeing and children and young people (working on grant-making across other programme areas - arts, culture and heritage and environmental conservation as required).
The Foundation has evolved significantly in recent years, and this is an exciting time to join the team. While this role is UK-focused, the post-holder will have exposure to the grant-making of affiliated Foundations that have an international focus.
The person:
The successful candidate will have significant experience of grant-making in the UK and experience of working within operating charities. They will have an in-depth knowledge of the charity sector funding ecology, policy environments and socio-economic impact, in particular relating to the fields of health and wellbeing and/or children and young people.
Given the Foundation’s focus on strengthening the capacity of non-profit organisations, this person will also have a deep understanding of capacity building needs of charities, with significant experience of assessing charitable organisations as a whole (looking at factors such as leadership and governance, impact, financial health, strategic plans etc.).
The candidate will have excellent analytical, communication and interpersonal skills, with a proven ability to understand and articulate complex information clearly and concisely. Attention to detail and ability to manage multiple deadlines and priorities will be key to success in this role. We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Interim HR Operations Manager to join a non-profit organisation based in South London. In this role you will lead on the delivery of all HR Operational activities including administration of end-to-end payroll, compensation, benefits, reward, HRIS (iTrent) and reporting to ensure the smooth operation of HR processes.
As our HR Operations Manager you will be responsible for the annual benefit renewals and day to day supplier management of the benefit providers and administration of reward and recognition, whilst managing the flexible benefit programme, the annual cyclical benefit enrolment and maintaining supplier relationships and contracts. You will be our lead on negotiations on benefits, both resolving escalated benefit-related queries, and working with the flexible benefits provider to address monthly operational matters. Your role will have oversight of completing new starter administration for the Company Pension Schemes (DB and DC) and pension arrangements and you will lead key annual reward events, such as the annual salary and bonus review, annual refresh of benefits platform, total reward statements, and Pension and Tax Events.
This role also has responsibility for management of the data on the HRIS (iTrent), maintaining accurate employee records and data, annual audits are complied with and supporting the HR Systems Specialist with payroll and ad-hoc reporting. You will be accountable for ensuring the end-to-end payroll process is efficient and effective, meeting all payroll deadlines. You will oversee the team in performing all payroll year-end activity requirements and be responsible for the final reviews of data, compiling the final set of reports for Head of HR authorisation.

About the role
The focus of this role is the ongoing development of the shops chain with a specific focus on our large format furniture shops. For our existing shops this will involve supporting the shop and field teams working to optimise income opportunities through the delivery of operational excellence. Regarding new shops this will involve working closely with the property team around site evaluations and assessments and project managing the retail element of the development.
The role will involve developing and launching an operating model for our furniture business to encompass logistics, merchandising, optimisation and service initiatives. Working in partnerships with the retail area managers to maximise shop performance with the primary focus being on our furniture shops. Liaising with the property and facilities team in opening of new and pop-up shops, particularly around site selection and merchandising and a range of internal partners and external agencies to ensure the smooth delivery of all projects including the property team, community shop managers and shop support team.
About you
You will need to have experience of charity and high street furniture retailing utilising commercial skills to drive the business, as well as experience of being involved in shop developments or new shop openings. You will need to demonstrate skills including being analytical, be able to problem-solve and strong project management skills. Working collaboratively will need to come naturally to you and the ability to work across multiple internal and external teams to deliver projects and activity.
Importantly you will need to have a full UK driving licence and flexible working style due to the role involving significant travel across England and Scotland, you will be provided with a car and will receive full travel expenses to enable you to do this.

ROLE PURPOSE
As the Head of High Value at St George’s Hospital Charity, you will provide leadership and operational delivery of the High Value fundraising strategy. You will lead the planning and management of High Value income streams as well taking a proactive role in fundraising high value gifts from Trusts & Foundations, Corporate Partnerships, Major Donors, and Special Events.
This role will be responsible for leading the High Value team to generate £1.5m annually from High Value partnerships and will lead on the development and implementation of our fundraising strategy, with a focus to grow High Value income to £2.5 million annually over the next five years and by 29/30. Currently our High Value income is underdeveloped, and we are looking for a hands-on fundraiser who is prepared to lead the way in building up these high-value partnerships, whilst leading a team to buy-in to the strategy and consequently, achieve income targets.
You will play a significant part in ensuring our fundraising appeals are a success. We are currently raising £5m for the transformation of our children’s wards. You will be a hardworking, proactive, and ambitious individual who can inspire and manage a high-performing team to cultivate and steward our high-value supporters effectively.
MAIN DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES
Fundraising Activities
- Major Gifts: Cultivate and maintain relationships with high-value donors, ensuring effective solicitation, stewardship, and follow-up to secure significant contributions (six-figure gifts). You will lead on prospecting, stewarding, maintaining, and uplifting a portfolio of 20+ major donors/year. You will be responsible for doubling income from major donors from £350k/year to £780k/year in five years.
- Corporate Partnerships: Build a portfolio of corporate partners, including securing high-value Charity Of The Year partnerships. You will work with the team to grow this income stream from prospecting, approaches, applications, pitches, stewardship and providing account management. The postholder will build income from corporate partnerships from £230k/year to £770k/year over the next five years.
- Trusts and Foundations: Build and maintain a portfolio of 30+ Trusts & Foundation supporters. Responsible for researching, approaching and developing compelling applications with a focus on ensuring Trusts & Foundations provide a long-term, diverse and sustainable income stream bringing in £1m+ / year

Role Overview
We are looking for an experienced and dynamic GOALS Service Manager to manage and expand our outreach efforts. The Service Manager will be responsible for leading a team to deliver Betknowmore UK's Community Outreach services, engaging with local communities, and supporting individuals impacted by gambling harms.
This is a key leadership role that involves overseeing the service’s strategy, operations, and delivery, ensuring that services are accessible, effective, and meet the needs of diverse communities.

Role Overview

They will be familiar with utilising the full range of media ( digital/social/face-to-face), with measurable impact and return on investment.

Core Topics Logistics
1. To lead on the Core Topics programme proactively ensuring set KPIs are achieved. This will be done by forward planning to ensure the Core Topics are booked in the calendar of events in a timely manner to ensure maximum lead times for marketing of the Core Topics programme. Avoiding where possible conflicts in the Core Topics programme with other Association events and other society/organisations events that may be in direct competition.
2. To be responsible for all organiser, speaker, and delegate management for Core Topics making sure all requirements are accurately recorded and that their needs are met before, during and after the event.
3. Communicate sponsorship and exhibition opportunities to the Partnerships and Sponsorships Manager. Act as the primary contact for exhibitors and sponsors post-onboarding, providing administrative support and ensuring clear communication, timely deliverables, and positive relationships throughout all event stages.
4. Work with our e-education Manager in setting up and running webinars using Zoom.
5. To be responsible for on the day running of the Core Topics. This will include travelling to Core Topics across the UK and will require overnight stays.
6. Contract with venues for Core Topic events, ensuring they are within budget and have favourable terms. Work with the venues to coordinate requirements such as room setup, catering, and audiovisual needs.
