We're recruiting for a new role for someone to lead on People and Culture at Involve.

Involve has grown in terms of both its turnover and staffing headcount in recent years. In 2024, we marked our 20th anniversary and the need for this new role reflects the growth and maturity of the organisation as we build the infrastructure to support the larger, more established organisation of around 30 people.

The People and Culture lead will report to the Director of Finance and Support Services and be responsible for developing our HR policy and practice taking a holistic approach and embedding our values into HR policy, leading consultation with our union on policy development. They will work closely with the management team to support the development and implementation of strategies to foster a positive organisational culture and provide HR generalist support to our team.

The People and Culture lead will be a CIPD qualified HR professional with strong HR generalist experience allied with a participatory approach that supports us in developing an inclusive environment in which everyone is supported to grow, develop and contribute to achieving our mission. 

We work across the UK, with offices in Belfast and London. Many of our staff work from home across the UK or in a hybrid pattern, rather than being based at one of our offices, though we meet up regularly as a team.

We have 2 posts available - 1 based in our Brighton and Hove office, and the second either based in our office, but fully remote working possible.  For both posts you will have lots of variety, providing telephone specialist debt and benefit advice and casework across a range of projects.  If you are based in our office you will also deliver face-to-face advice both in the office and other outreach locations including Foodbanks and with inpatients.

Ideally you will hold a qualification in Money Advice, obtained either through the Institute of Money Advisers or the Money and Pensions Service.  If you do not have a qualification, you must be prepared to work towards obtaining this, included some study in your own time. You will have excellent communication and digital skills, be comfortable delivering advice in person and by phone, and be able to plan and organise your work effectively.

The Role

The Digital Marketing Lead will be the key contact for digital communications and marketing within the organisation, providing input into annual budgets and plans from the perspective of their expertise.

This position is a new one, and one of the key recommendations of a fundraising research assignment conducted at the end of 2024.

What we’re looking for in our Senior Individual Giving Officer (Acquisition):

• Extensive experience in an Individual Giving or similar role, ideally working with agencies in the third sector
• Experience in leading the organisation of projects/activities or schedules
• Experience in budget management, ideally with multiple income and expenditure items
• Proven track record of achieving income against agreed financial targets, and measuring against KPIs
• Experience of at least some broad-based fundraising, such as Direct Mail, DRTV, telephone, digital or face-to-face fundraising

Established in 1954 we are a UK based charity devoted to the study and conservation of the mammals of the British Isles. We aim to raise awareness of the issues mammals face and share our scientific research so they can be best protected in the future. Following the recent confirmation of the Mammal Society’s research priorities for the next 5 years, we are seeking a talented, enthusiastic Data and Research Officer with a passion for nature, science and conservation who will help us to put strong foundations in place so that we can deliver maximum positive impact for mammals through our work.

Overall Duties of the Commercial Bid Writer & Fundraiser  will include:

• Taking the lead in identifying, coordinating, and managing tendering opportunities, processes, and contracts for TACT.
• Overseeing the commissioning and contractual tender portfolio, which will involve ensuring high-quality submissions, and maintaining compliance with all relevant procedures.
• Contribute to fundraising efforts by developing and managing grant applications, securing corporate partnerships, and coordinating annual fundraising events.

The main requirements for this role include:

• GCSE grade C or above in Maths and English or equivalent qualification.
• Proven experience in bid and tender writing with a strong track record of successful submissions.
• Experience in fundraising, particularly in grant applications, corporate partnerships, and donor engagement.
• Knowledge of fundraising legislation, regulations and record-keeping.
• An understanding of the children’s social care system.
• Familiarity with trusts, foundations, corporate fundraising, and major donor funding mechanisms.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
• Strong research and analytical skills to identify tender and funding opportunities.
• Highly organised, with the ability to track and manage multiple contracts and funding streams.
• Exceptional writing skills with the ability to craft compelling and accurate documentation.
• Competent using MS Office Suite including Teams, Word, Excel, PowerPoint etc

About The Respect Young People’s Service (RYPS)

The Respect Young People’s Service (RYPS) provides high quality, training, consultation and support for practitioners working with young people who harm. They create innovative, evidence based intervention to promote behaviour change and reduce the risk of harm. There are 2 main branches of the work: young people who harm parents or carers and young people who harm in intimate relationship abuse 

About the role:

This is an exciting and innovative opportunity for a dynamic and inspirational lead to galvanise the response to CAPVA (Child or adolescent to parent violence or abuse) within the Merseyside area. This is a second tier role which involves coordinating, training and supporting professionals to recognise and respond to CAPVA.  The postholder will be engaging with a variety of professionals who work across services dedicated to children and young people including health, education, early help and children’s services.

The aim of the role is to remove the barriers families face in accessing support by ensuring that staff in universal services can recognise and respond to CAPVA. Working to reduce the stigma and shame associated with CAPVA and ensuring that parents can reach out in confidence that they will be listened to and supported. 

The role involves mapping and coordinating current CAPVA intervention to identify systemic gaps in provision. The post holder will be responsible for developing and building a delivery plan focusing on identified gaps, building on current provision and providing training in identified areas of need. They will need to bring together the insights of service users, practitioners, specialist organisations and researchers to build solutions. 

Extensive CAPVA knowledge is not required as full training will be given. A background of working with young people who harm and training experience is essential as is a non judgemental approach.

Main Tasks:

• Map existing CAPVA provision and available referral pathways in Merseyside.

• Build relationships with key statutory and voluntary agencies

• Lead the planning and execution of the CAPVA project in Merseyside, ensuring new systems, processes, and initiatives are effectively integrated across the borough. 

• Design and develop a comprehensive training needs assessment to inform the training program using a variety of methods to meet the need of services and families in Merseyside 

• Conduct training sessions using diverse methods (in-person, virtual, workshops) to effectively transfer knowledge and skills. 

• Develop high-quality training materials, including manuals, e-learning modules, and multimedia resources 

• Deliver CAPVA awareness training to service managers and practitioners working with families and young people 

• Set up a CAPVA multi agency steering group 

• Work with local organisations and service users to identify need and co-develop plans for services

• Train identified practitioners to deliver Respect Young People’s Programme (training will be given).

• Support practitioners delivering CAPVA intervention with casework enquiries

• Support services to address barriers to engagement and improve inclusivity 

• Generate detailed reports on training activities, implementation progress, and impact on performance metrics for funders.
