Since 2004 the MS Therapy Centre (NW) (MSTC) has been supporting those with Multiple Sclerosis to lead more positive, enriched lives by providing complimentary therapies, Oxygen treatment, support and wellbeing services. It remains MS centric but also extends its reach to those with other neurological conditions, cancers and other specific conditions.
This is an exciting time to join our charity as we develop our new Centre based in Eccles alongside working on a strategy of cautious and sustained growth. We are looking for a dynamic and enterprising fundraiser to develop our work with trusts and foundations. They must be as passionate as we are about helping our members attain all that they can and wish to achieve.
You will need to be a team player with excellent communication and people skills. We require someone to be pro-active, resilient and good-humoured with excellent organisational and time management ability. Whilst working remotely you must be able to commute to the Centre on a regular basis. If you have a suitable background from working or volunteering in this area of fundraising then this could be an exciting opportunity for you.

As part of Remember A Charity, the team also works to normalise legacy giving and expand the UK legacy market. In alignment with our role as a leading end-of-life care charity, we strive to provide accessible, high-quality Will-writing information to help supporters and service users plan for the future.
Your Key Responsibilities
- Engage with existing and potential supporters via phone, email, or in person to inspire legacy giving and secure pledges.
- Develop and execute a regional legacy strategy focusing on awareness, stewardship, and conversions while contributing to the national Legacy & In Memory strategy.
- Plan and host regional legacy events to inspire and retain supporters, working closely with internal teams to ensure success.
- Promote free Will-writing schemes to generate pledges, supporting enquirers through their legacy journey.
- Raise awareness of legacy giving and its impact across the region, ensuring all stakeholders understand its importance.
- Provide ongoing legacy training for regional staff and new fundraising team members.
- Work with the Legacy and In-Memory Marketing team to develop aligned resources for local and mass fundraising.
- Promote national legacy initiatives locally and participate in cross-team projects or working groups.

Role Summary
The main function of the Careers Coordinator role is to develop, support and deliver Into Film’s Screen Careers Programme. The post holder will work closely with the Careers Lead, Industry Partnerships Lead and other members of Into Film staff who conceive, create and deliver our Screen Careers Programme.
Alongside internal teams including Marcomms, the Careers Coordinator will develop content that supports careers professionals, teachers, young people and their parents, ensuring they can access what they need to become aware of the breadth of screen careers and how children and young people might go about entering these industries.
The Careers Coordinator will manage various deliverables across the programme including but not limited to work experience pilots directly with young people, development of resources and training for careers professionals, and speaking slots at careers conferences UK-wide. The role will have a focus on reaching those young people who are underserved and under-represented.
Main Responsibilities:
- As directed by the Careers Lead, support the implementation of the Screen Careers Programme Plan through colleagues, partners and supporters.
- Project manage the work experience deliverable alongside the local Activation Coordinators.
- Assist the Careers Lead and UK-wide activation team to plan and deliver Screen Careers events.
- Support the Learning Content Creation team with the development of Screen Careers resources, training and courses.
- Support the Careers Lead and Industry Partnerships Lead to manage stakeholders and industry partner relationships utilising our Customer Relationship Management tool, Salesforce.
- Generate ideas and organise existing content for the Get Into Film social media channels and young people hub on the Into Film website.
- Monitor content about careers on our resources, training programme and website to ensure that it's up to date and remains relevant.
- Monitor and evaluate the programme utilising internal and external feedback to help shape future Screen Careers annual programme plans.
- Contribute to quarterly reports to funders and the Into Film board.

General Responsibilities:

Minimum Requirements:

- At least one year's experience working in careers, education or the screen industries.
- Understanding and experience of what careers professionals and educators need to be able to support young people to explore the breath of opportunities in the screen industries, particularly those currently underrepresented in the industry.
- Experience, knowledge and understanding of the screen industries across the UK.

We’re looking for an experienced communications and marketing professional to help us spread the word about the levels of low literacy and numeracy experienced by people across the UK. Currently, over 70% of people in prisons either can’t read, or struggle to. Even more struggle with their numeracy.
Shannon Trust supports people in the criminal justice system, and in the wider community, to learn to read and improve their numeracy skills. The work you will be promoting makes day to day life safer for the learner, their families, and the wider community. It provides more opportunities for work and education for the learner, helps break the intergenerational cycle of low literacy and numeracy, and reduces re-offending.
Working closely with colleagues across the charity, your responsibilities will include:
- Promoting the work of Shannon Trust, internally and externally, through a variety of communications platforms including print and digital media, video and radio
- Managing the day-to-day monitoring and development of our social media channels and website
- Developing strong relationships with press and staying on the lookout for opportunities to promote Shannon Trust
- Delivering a great experience to our supporters, helping us recruit new supporters and retain existing ones

The Role:
As an Events Assistant, you’ll join a dynamic team and help deliver an engaging programme of events for professionals. The role of our Events Coordinator is to drive forward Yorkshire Air Ambulance’s fundraising efforts through the coordination, delivery and review of our portfolio of income generating events throughout the year, and providing events expertise and support to colleagues across the organisation.
Key Responsibilities and Duties:
Coordinate, plan and deliver a portfolio of events:
Concurrently project manage all aspects of specific events (charity-owned, third-party and challenge events), ensuring all tasks are assigned and completed as per each event’s project plan.
Produce event budgets and ensure events are run within budgeted expenditure and achieving budgeted income, negotiating with suppliers for the most cost-effective prices where appropriate.
To evaluate event performance against agreed objectives and ensure these insights and learnings inform future decision making and planning.
Propose new test events for the charity to diversify its portfolio, researching and building the business cases.
Maximise events income and develop new relationships with potential partners:
Monitor and manage the Events Fundraising budget for your responsible events and forecast as necessary, accounting for variances and taking a proactive approach where required.

About the Role
Humanists International has another separate entity based in the US. This role will be a part of the UK operations team but will collaborate with the US finance team occasionally when it’s required, for example, during the audit period. Both UK and US finance teams are managed by the same Director of Finance and Operations who is based in London.
We are looking for a highly motivated individual who can provide excellent finance and administrative support to the small, predominantly home-based team. We’re seeking someone who is personable, highly organised, has attention to detail and is keen to take initiative and learn new skills. Onboarding training will be provided, but we would like you to demonstrate transferable skills.
You will work on a wide variety of tasks which will include bookkeeping and bank reconciliations, being the first point of contact for the organisation, as well as providing general administrative support to the team.
