Harington is an Ofsted-regulated Independent Training Provider based in north London, this academic year supporting 53 young people with learning differences. We specialise in employability skills in retail and horticulture. Our two charity shops, in Highgate and Hornsey, provide income for our charity and work experience placements for our students.

We are seeking a highly driven, enthusiastic and experienced Charity Retail Operations Manager to lead both shops, manage stock, finances, health and safety, and drive growth.

The role requires experience in retail, ideally working with young people with learning differences, alongside strong leadership and commercial skills.

About you

If your knowledge, skills and experience include the following then we’d love to hear from you:

• Demonstrable skills using the latest Adobe Creative Cloud software suite including Illustrator, Photoshop, InDesign, After Effects and Premiere Pro. 
• Demonstrable skills of understanding and working effectively and intuitively with brand guidelines and templates.
• Ability to work on a number of design projects at any one time and to be flexible and willing to react quickly to fast turnaround times.
• Skilled in creating, preparing, proofing and checking print-ready artwork, for sign off by the client and our Lead Designer and Creative Manager.

The Role

As an Estates Manager, you will deliver an effective estate management function across the expansive and diverse Royal Parks Estate.

Your responsibilities will span the management of property-related matters, including non-residential assets and the negotiation of property contracts, ensuring that we maximise value from our property portfolio.

This is an exciting opportunity for an experienced community engagement manager to lead the delivery of our community engagement strategy and Compassionate Neighbours project, both of which play a key role in the hospice’s ambitious plans to reach everyone who could benefit from our care.

The successful candidate will be a confident and proactive trainer and project manager, and experienced in delivering impactful and collaborative community engagement programmes.

You will work with the Associate Director of Communications and Engagement and the Community Engagement Officer to support and grow Trinity’s Compassionate Neighbours befriending project and take Trinity’s Community Engagement toolkit to communities across our catchment area.

You will work collaboratively with teams in the hospice, external stakeholders and people from across our community to deliver scheduled events and projects and use your creativity and networking skills to build new partnerships and activities.

• Lead the Compassionate Neighbours project, which aims to reduce social isolation amongst people at the end of their lives.

We are recruiting an experienced and ambitious Individual Giving & Legacy Manager who will share our compassion and commitment for animal welfare, to lead on the strategic direction and delivery of our growing Individual Giving and Legacy marketing programme, managing activity across multiple channels and products to  both retain our amazing, loyal donors and attract many more to support us.

Our Individual Giving & Legacy Manager is integral to our ambition to broaden our reach and deepen our impact by shaping and our fundraising activities and working on integrated campaigns with our Fundraising management team and wider colleagues and external suppliers. This is a highly visible and hugely important role for Mayhew, and will work across departments to build our case for support and employ it across a range of retention and acquisition channels.

This role offers a lot of variety, spanning strategic planning and operational delivery and the successful candidate will be able to pivot from working closely with the Head of Fundraising to identify new growth opportunities, to project managing a DM appeal, to supporting their line reports to optimise day-to-day processes.

Generally, you will:

• Provide leadership and support to the Head of Fundraising as part of the fundraising management team
• Deliver against our income targets and maximise the unrestricted impact of cash and regular giving income
• Develop and implement ambitious onward fundraising donor journeys, including legacy marketing
• Proactively improve supporter care processes, operations and relationships
• Lead innovation in our individual giving approach in a test and learn culture
• Collaborate proactively across the organisation to find, develop and share stories that will inspire support
• Be a positive, empathetic people manager, inspiring your team and leading by example.

To be successful in this role, you need relevant experience in:

• A fundraising role in a charity of comparable breadth and scope with proven success in growing income
• Being a great project manager and successfully managing multiple, often competing projects through to delivery
• Identifying and successfully implementing proactive initiatives to grow and diversify income
• Reporting and monitoring success so as to adapt and refine fundraising projects and products
• Successfully motivating, managing, and developing a team, whether through line management or project/stakeholder management

Job summary

RSTMH is a global society of over 2,000 members and Fellows based in more than 100 countries, run by a small and efficient team. This role oversees the team and office operations, supports the Chief Executive (CEO) and has responsibility for the success of key areas of the work of the society – membership, meetings and events and communications.  

Our activities include organising events, supporting our members and networks, publishing two journals, providing medals and awards, running an Early Career grants programme, being a tangible part of the tropical medicine and global health network, and carrying out day to day office work.

This role will report to the CEO and is full time and office based, with a current trial for Mondays working at home. It has overall responsibility for the efficient and cost-effective operations of the RSTMH office, team systems and team wellbeing. The role also involves the line management of the roles of Membership Manager, Meetings and Events Manager and the Team and Office Assistant.

Key responsibilities

• Ensure the operations of RSTMH run as smoothly as possible
• Oversee the finance processes for the RSTMH Team and Board. 
• Line management of the Membership Manager, Meetings and Events Manager and Communications Manager and Team and Office Assistant, and the success of the alignment of these areas
• Oversight and management of public face of RSTMH on the phones, email, and face to face.
• Direct responsibility for developing and maintaining team planning tools, including those needed for the CEO and Board
• Attend and assist with UK events for RSTMH and our partners
• Overall responsibility for the management of RSTMH Student Ambassador Programme, support of Country Ambassador and Regional Ambassador programmes, office volunteers and partner internships
• Develop and deliver tailored communication strategy for groups of RSTMH member volunteers
• Oversee management of stock control system for RSTMH resources and marketing
• Support the CEO to manage the work and requirements of the RSTMH Board and Committees

Purpose of the Job

As UK Youth’s Microsoft Dynamics 365 Specialist, you will oversee and maintain the organisation’s critical CRM system, ensuring it is effectively utilised across the Charity while maintaining data integrity and supporting key processes. Acting as the functional consultant and product owner, you will align the CRM system with UK Youth’s digital strategy, driving its adoption and efficiency.

Key Responsibilities

• CRM Management: Oversee the daily functionality of UK Youth’s CRM and Portal as the subject matter expert, troubleshooting issues and liaising with external suppliers to ensure a high-quality service for users; manage UK Youth CRM service desk function and task prioritisation.

• User Support & Licensing: Manage users, privileges, and license allocations, ensuring business requirements are met and licenses are efficiently utilised.

• Supplier and Budget Management: Manage the CRM budget, external supplier support contracts, and service delivery, fostering strong relationships and enforcing service agreements.

• System Development & Integration: Lead CRM functionality development projects, test upgrades, new features,  etc, and collaborate with the IT Manager on system integrations to maximise efficiency.

Experience we're after

• Advanced knowledge of and experience with Microsoft Dynamics 365 (certifications desirable), including  its ongoing optimization
