What will you be doing?
As a Service Manager at Hft, you’ll be supporting adults with learning disabilities to live the best life possible. You will be a role model to others through demonstrating excellent support to those we support and you will help the Regional Service Managers to coach, support and manage staff teams effectively. You will be responsible for nurturing and inspiring those coming to work for Hft to help ensure we have the best staff teams offering great support services. This role also offers great opportunities for career progression to help you develop your knowledge and skills.
The purpose of the role is to assist the Regional Service Manager by holding delegated
responsibility in key areas of the day-to-day running of the registered service. You will also have the responsibility to manage the performance of your team; including your team’s delivery of care and support which promotes dignity, wellbeing and independence and a person-centred culture.
Alongside the Regional Manager, you are responsible and accountable for monitoring, maintaining and providing the highest standards of clinical and personal support and service delivery, while promoting independence and choice to the people supported in the service.
As a senior member of the team, you will promote and lead good practice at all times, doing all you can to make sure that the people we support and their colleagues come to no harm and that the people we support are satisfied with the level of support they receive by acting as an exemplary role model.
As a Service Manager, flexibility is important for both you and for the service. We provide 24/7 support to some people, so you will need to have flexibility to work shifts on a rota basis, including nights, weekends and Bank Holidays.
A full UK driving licence, with access to your own vehicle, is essential for the role.

Solace’s counselling service provides therapeutic support to women and children residing in Solace’s London-based refuges. We are looking for two Children and Young People’s Therapists to join our team.
About the Role
The Children and Young People Refuge Therapists deliver one-to-one therapy to children and young people residing in Solace’s refuges. The candidate will be responsible for delivery of a therapeutic service to children and young people 2-18 and will also offer parent sessions. They will be ensuring high quality, effective and safe service provision in accordance with contract specifications.
About You
We are looking for two dynamic therapists with intersectional feminist values who have post qualification experience of working with children and young people who have experienced or witnessed trauma and abuse. You will spend time in our refuges building trust with the survivors and their children. You will be reporting to the Counselling Clinical Lead and the Counselling Service Manager.
In addition to being a qualified counsellor, you will have specialist knowledge and experience of working with children and young people e.g. a Play Therapist, Art Therapist or Drama Therapist, registered with the relevant accredited bodies e.g. the British Association of Art Therapists; British Association of Drama Therapists; BACP; UKCP; HCPC or equivalent.

About the team
Our Strategy Enablement directorate brings together five core enabling support functions - Finance, Tech & Data, Governance, Planning and Property and HR Delivery, where this particular role sits. About the role

The Migraine Trust is the only UK migraine charity providing information and support, campaigning for awareness and change, and funding and promoting research, and has been leading and bringing the migraine community together since 1965. One in seven people in the UK live with migraine. This complex and debilitating neurological disorder can significantly affect many aspects of life including work, school, personal relationships, and feelings of isolation.
Every year over two million people visit The Migraine Trust website for the most up to date information, and thousands contact the helplines for information and support on all aspects of migraine. The Migraine Trust campaign for increased awareness and understanding of migraine, better access to treatment, and national policy change to improve the lives of people who get it.
The Information Manager will coordinate and develop a range of health information needed by the migraine community and people living with migraine to raise awareness to both members of the public and health care professionals. The role is also responsible for ensuring the information on the website is up to date and coordinating and managing Patient Information Forum renewals.
Key responsibilities
- Produce and maintain quality health information: You will manage and update health information, scope, plan, and create new content in consultation with stakeholders, and identify target groups to produce materials to meet their needs. You will work within the Information and Support team constantly communicating with colleagues working on front line services to ensure the information being produced is in line with service users needs. You will also be responsible for managing the organisations PIF processes and assessments.
- Engage with the migraine community: You will hold focus groups to understand information needs, build strategic partnerships to disseminate information effectively, and support staff learning and knowledge-building about migraine.
- Support communication and dissemination: You will work with the Communications team to create accessible information formats, provide content for videos, blogs, and other communication channels and regularly monitor and report on the impact of information provision.
- Research: You will act as the key point of communication for the research committee, manage administrative duties for research funding applications and grants, and coordinate research meetings and liaise with funded researchers for project updates.
- Represent and support the charity: You will represent The Migraine Trust at external events and build relationships with healthcare professionals and stakeholders.
The Information Manager will have solid experience of communicating complex health information to audiences in written and online formats, as well as proven experience of producing information from the research stage through to writing, external review and liaising with designers. The successful candidate will have the ability to gain an in-depth understanding of medical and health related information, including research and critical analysis skills to develop an evidence base. You will have experience working within a health communication environment, with excellent verbal and written communication skills, and meticulous attention to detail with demonstrable editing and proofreading skills. You will have the ability to liaise with key stakeholders, be a self-starter with an ability to work independently and as part of a team and be able to work to tight deadlines. You will have knowledge and understanding of the benefits of patient engagement to produce health information.
The role is home-based with meetings in London once every 3 months which will include overnight stays and some ad hoc national travel. All travel/overnight expenses are covered. About the Service
The Sexual Health project was piloted in Islington in 2020 and the project has since been expanded and now covers Camden, Haringey and Barnet. We continue to provide high-quality holistic support to survivors of domestic abuse and sexual violence who approach the sexual health clinics based in these boroughs. As with all Islington SASS services, the Sexual Health project is inclusive to all survivors, but this project has a specific focus on increasing the engagement for LGBTQ+ survivors.
About the Role
We are looking for a Sexual Health Independent Domestic and Sexual Violence Advocates to sit in the Islington SASS team and co-locate in Barnet and Islington Sexual Health Clinics. As an IDSVA you will provide immediate support for victim/survivors of domestic and sexual abuse attending the clinic including carrying out risk and needs assessments, safety planning and providing short-term support and onward referrals. In addition, you will act as the Sexual Health lead for Solace for Barnet and Islington, providing advice and guidance to Solace staff and Sexual Health professionals.
The Sexual Health IDSVAs also hold a caseload providing one-to-one support to high-risk victims/survivors at the point of crisis as well as those at standard and medium risk levels, co-ordinating multi agency support and providing practical solutions.
You will be working as part of a multidisciplinary team and collaborating with external agencies in your work.

Our full Maths and English programme builds on the positive habits fostered by our reading log. About the Role
There are 1.4 million primary-aged children growing up in poverty in the UK, and we are currently only working with a fraction of them. We have grown rapidly over the last few years and are now looking to grow our Fundraising team to the next level.
The Fundraising and Communications Officer will work as part of the Fundraising team to deliver Learning with Parents’ fundraising strategy. Their primary focus will be strengthening our existing funding pipeline through prospects research and managing the donor database. They will also be responsible for drafting compelling applications and reports for new and existing donors. They will develop and adapt our fundraising resources and provide wider support to the team.

About Fundraising at CARAS
CARAS offers holistic early-action support to refugees and people seeking asylum, ensuring individuals have the knowledge, skills and confidence they need to thrive in the UK. Founded in 2008, we have co-created our thriving adult and youth services in partnership with CARAS community members over the last 16 years and now run a thriving weekly provision of social and educational programming delivered alongside wrap-around casework support.

What will you be doing?
As a Service Manager at Hft, you’ll be supporting adults with learning disabilities to live the best life possible. You will be a role model to others through demonstrating excellent support to those we support and you will help the Regional Service Managers to coach, support and manage staff teams effectively.
