About the role
We have an exciting opportunity to join our ambitious Public Fundraising team in London to manage the staff and programmes for individual/regular giving campaigns, community fundraising, supporter engagement and trading of Christmas cards. The Individual Giving Manager will be responsible for the delivery of Help Musicians’ and Music Minds Matter’s public fundraising operational plans. The successful candidate will oversee four direct line-reports and their work plans relating to the management of these public fundraising streams to achieve growth of the charity’s donor base and charitable income.
This role develops and delivers a set of operational plans within the charity’s public fundraising programme, supporting and empowering their line reports to implement supporter development and acquisition campaigns, in memory giving initiatives, community fundraising projects and trading products. This role leads on the overall successful management of these work plans by managing, supporting and mentoring a team of fundraiser specialists to ensure an integrated approach to campaigns and a joined-up supporter experience.
This role will also work in collaboration with the Head of Individual Giving, team members and other colleagues in Help Musicians to scope, launch and lead on the implementation of a new charity CRM, and new fundraising initiatives to help grow our supporter-base e.g., Friends Scheme, community fundraising products, digital fundraising campaigns, improved supporter journeys etc.
About you
We are looking for someone who has demonstrable experience of leading and managing line-reports and operational plans within individual giving and wider public fundraising areas (e.g., community fundraising, trading), to achieve set income and supporter number goals. The successful candidate will have good experience of effective line-management and of managing fundraising teams and delivering work plans through people which includes setting objectives, coaching, developing, and managing effective performance.
This role oversees a number of income-generating programmes and therefore the candidate needs to show the ability to manage a wide range of projects at any one time and to work collaboratively with other teams to deliver successful outcomes. Excellent planning and organisational skills are needed to manage workloads effectively.
The successful candidate will have experience of taking an audience-led approach to delivering mass-fundraising campaigns, to help enhance digital and direct mail appeals to retain and acquire supporters, create effective supporter and stewardship journeys, and to develop new initiatives within the community fundraising income stream to grow new audiences.

Prostate Cancer Research is seeking a an experienced, dynamic and driven Trusts & Statutory Executive. The role will take a lead on identifying and securing collaboration and funding opportunities with both existing and prospective partners, developing and managing a pipeline of funding partners that align with PCR’s mission and core programmes of work.
Since 2018, PCR has significantly increased income from Trusts & Foundations and Statutory sources, as well as working in collaboration with other medical research charities and non-profits. This is a newly created and integral role within the Partnership Fundraising team to build on this work and will be key to identifying and nurturing relationships with prospective partners and funders, as well as developing and implementing comprehensive partnership strategies to engage existing and prospective partners.
The ideal candidate will have demonstrable experience of developing and nurturing relationships with funding partners (with experience of identifying and securing at least five-figure income), understanding complex issues and working with others to identify solutions, and producing compelling funding proposals in support of this work. They will also have excellent communication and interpersonal skills with the proven ability to build and manage strong, impactful relationships.

Key Responsibilities

Conduct proactive prospecting and qualification of Trusts & Statutory funding opportunities to build a robust pipeline of potential funders.

Identify and nurture relationships with prospective Trust & Foundations and Statutory funding partners aligned with the mission and values of PCR.

Develop and implement comprehensive partnership strategies to engage existing and prospective funding partners.

Stay informed about PCR’s current and future work and translate larger, complex programmes of work into relevant, compelling funding asks.

Lead the preparation and submission of funding applications and reports for both existing and prospective funders.

Lead negotiations and secure funding support from funding partners for activities aligned with PCR’s programmes of work.

What is a Portfolio Delivery Test Lead?

In June 2023, Prince William and The Royal Foundation of The Prince and Princess of Wales launched Homewards. Homewards is a transformative five-year programme, working with six locations, to demonstrate that together it’s possible to end homelessness – making it rare, brief and unrepeated.
The Royal Foundation’s Homewards programme is recruiting into their Strategic Delivery team. This team will be focused on leveraging significant impact across the locations focused on key, cross-cutting, themes and report into the Programme Director.
Role Purpose:
We are seeking a motivated, creative and delivery-minded individual to join us as our Strategic Data Lead. The Lead will work with partners to support our locations to bring together current data and use it more effectively to end homelessness – and leverage brand new forms of data from a range of public and private sources.
They will focus on deploying data to identify and intervene as early as possible to prevent an individual’s homelessness, working with a ground-breaking collaboration of public and private partners.
We are looking for a big thinker and pragmatic ‘doer’. This is a chance to be at the cutting-edge of shaping a best-in-class approach to using data to end homelessness with internationally leading partners. Our aim is to create models with our partners that can be scaled across the UK and beyond.
You might have worked on strategy for a progressive technology company, led data strategy at a major corporate or driven impact through data linked to a significant social challenge. You will be a strategic thinker ready to put your knowledge to work in driving an end to homelessness.
Key Accountabilities, but not limited to:
- Lead, shape and deliver the Data strategy as part of The Royal Foundation’s Homewards programme
- Work with a range of partners from across the data sector to shape ambition across our locations and design cutting edge innovations and approaches to prevent homelessness, from new sources of data to the use of predictive analytics and AI
- Identify and convene commitments to deliver the resources and expertise needed to progress this ground-breaking work across the locations. The Data Lead will need a strong understanding of the potential needs and nuances of each location which are across the UK.
- Build a network of expert support and work across the Homewards team to prioritise, co-develop and deliver initiatives, ensuring the approach is backed by a robust delivery plan
- Work with the Homewards location teams to ensure the data strategy delivers on Local Action Plans (our locations’ roadmaps to preventing and ending homelessness); and support them to identify high potential local partners and grow relevant local relationships
- Work closely with other Leads in the programme and the central Partnerships team to ensure a joined-up approach which delivers maximum impact for Homewards and The Royal Foundation
- Shape and deploy an approach to share insights from our work with other locations on data so the approach can scale.
Relevant knowledge, experience and personal qualities
- Strong knowledge of what it takes to deliver cutting edge data projects locally, and proven sensitivity to public and private sector pressures that shape that delivery
- Proven leader in delivering ambitious data programmes or social impact initiatives with a strong data component
- Experience delivering strategic projects and new partnerships, ideally working with the private sector and with multiple stakeholders, to create lasting impact
- Desire to drive systemic change, understanding of the role TRF could play and a vision of what systemic change could look like when it comes to data and homelessness

Purpose of the role
At NEON we believe that organising is crucial if we’re to build the power we need to win a new economy and deepen cross-community solidarity at a time of political polarisation. A central part of our new strategy - and this role - is to support movement organisations and organisers to build their capacity to do what we call Transformative Organising - where we transform the conditions we live in, transform ourselves and transform who has power in society. We use a combination of trainings, 1-2-1 mentoring and strategic partnerships with movement organisations to give organisers the tools, skills and confidence they need to build a base with those at the sharp end of the crisis, develop politically conscious leaders, and plan strategic & escalating campaigns that win. You’ll work with our Head of Organising and colleagues in the Movement Building Hub to scale up this offer over the coming years, with a particular focus on the housing, climate and migration movements, as well as supporting movements to tackle a rising far-right.
What you will be doing

Deliver organising trainings to social movement organisers and campaigners, using content from our Transformative Organising programme and working closely with our Head of Organising and NEON trainers. These will be a mix of shorter workshops and multi-day trainings, blending in-person and online delivery, and you will be supported to experiment with different delivery models to meet movement needs.

Work in partnership with organisers, organisations and coalitions to build their organising capacity over the long-term, through ongoing mentoring and hands-on support and training.

Conduct extensive 1-2-1s with movement organisers, to strengthen relationships, explore opportunities for collaboration and understand movement needs.

Support the development of a network of UK-based organisers, and create spaces for collective learning and ensure NEON’s organising offer meets the needs of organisers on the ground.

About Chapter One
Chapter One is a dynamic, growing charity with a vision of a world in which all children have the literacy skills needed to thrive. Our mission is to close the reading gap by providing children with one-to-one support at the time they need it most.
Our unique Online Reading Volunteer programme currently supports about 3,000 children a year. It pairs disadvantaged, struggling five to eight-year old (KS1) readers with reading support volunteers who come from over 140 local and national businesses. The volunteer ask is very focused: readers commit 30 minutes a week to read with a child using a bespoke digital platform for an entire academic year. About the role
Chapter One is seeking a proactive, energetic and enthusiastic Corporate Partnerships Manager to be an integral part of a team which aims to both maximise corporate income and deliver an excellent partner and volunteer experience.
Reporting to our Head of Corporate Partnerships, and responsible for the line management of our Corporate Partnerships Officer, you’ll deliver on our annual volunteer and income targets and maintain our strong partner retention rate (target 87%). This will involve supporting the account management of a portfolio of existing partners and the responsibility to nurture relationships to increase partner investment in Chapter One over time. The role involves collaborating across departments to ensure a seamless and positive experience for volunteers and partners

Key Responsibilities
Partner Stewardship

Lead the account management of a selected portfolio of corporate partners, ensuring Chapter One achieves its annual retention and growth targets

In collaboration with the Head of Corporate Partnerships, devise effective schemes of delegation and partner allocation within the Corporate Partnerships Team

Focus, in all corporate partnership discussions, on maximising income

Identify opportunities to increase a partner’s support eg by identifying other regional/divisional opportunities or inclusion of Chapter One as a social value partner in public sector bids

Conduct regular partnership meetings, including mid and end of year reviews, proactively proposing tailored opportunities to retain and grow partner support

Lead on producing high quality written communications, reports, proposals and pitches as per the requirements of each partner, collaborating with the Data and Systems Officer and Fundraising team as needed

Advocate effectively, with passion and enthusiasm, for Chapter One’s programmes in a variety of internal and external settings

Proactively network to deepen and strengthen external relationships with Chapter One partners, identifying speaking opportunities for Chapter One where possible

Strategically use LinkedIn to identify, connect with, and actively engage key stakeholders within corporate partner organisations,

Attend conference and events to represent Chapter One and talk about its work to existing and potential new partners

Keep up to date with relevant business news and strategic shifts or developments at key partners and sectors, proactively seeking opportunities to broaden knowledge

Regularly analyse data in Microsoft Excel / Google Sheets, working with formulas, pivot tables and data analysis tools to aid decision-making and create dashboards.

Oversee and maintain all Account Management related processes, including stewardship plans, recording of activity on the Salesforce CRM and internal platform databases

Ensure, in conjunction with the Finance Assistant, that partners are invoiced for their Chapter One donations accurately and in a timely manner
Line management

Line manage and develop the Corporate Partnerships Officer, ensuring adherence to all Chapter One’s HR Policies and Procedures

Be a source of advice and guidance for the Corporate Partnerships Officer as they manage their allocated partner relationships

Supervise the Corporate Partnerships Officer to lead volunteer recruitment meetings, including stepping in if necessary

Supervise the Corporate Partnerships Officer to manage new partner onboarding meetings, stepping in to lead them if required
Partner/volunteer onboarding and experience

Alongside the Head of Corporate Partnerships, use internal systems to assign partner teams and volunteers to specific schools and ensure that their needs are met

Develop proactive, supportive relationships with Volunteer Coordinators in partner organisations, providing high-quality data and information in a timely manner

Work closely with the Volunteer Support Team to ensure that partner and volunteer onboarding is a smooth, time-efficient experience

Support the Programme Management team to liaise with partner contacts about the organisation of in-person school/office visits and virtual meet and greets

Attend Chapter One’s internal Volunteer Experience group and Corporate Engagement Group.
Marketing and Communications

Work with the Marketing and Communications team to ensure that companies and volunteers have access to an array of promotional assets and recruitment materials

Create and provide content for the regular volunteer and corporate partner newsletters, including working with partners to gather volunteer testimonials and partner profiles

Work closely with the Marketing and Communications team to develop ways to promote, showcase and celebrate partnerships and individual volunteers across our social media channels and other digital platforms

Encourage corporate partners to promote Chapter One through their own social media and channels

Support the organisation of online and in person partner and volunteer recognition events

The newly formed High Value Operations & Stewardship team will sit in the High Value Partnerships (HVP) sub-directorate which is part of Shelter’s Income Generation directorate. It’s an award-winning team that is responsible for all areas of high value income generation across philanthropy, trusts and foundations, statutory funders, corporate partners and legacies to power Shelter’s fight for home.

Role Purpose
This is an exceptional opportunity to join the Royal Hospital Chelsea as Assistant Director of Audience Engagement on a fixed term contract to cover maternity leave. We are looking for a Hospital Carers' Lead to join our service supporting unpaid carers while the person they look after is in hospital and during the discharge process. You will play a pivotal role in developing and delivering our offer for carers which seeks to increase the identification of carers within local hospitals, improve carer support during their cared for hospital stay and following their discharge from hospital.
The Hospital Carers Lead will be responsible for:

Offering tailored short-term 1 to 1 support to unpaid carers, working together to develop and implement plans to help improve carers’ experiences during the hospital stay, prepare for discharge and to address carers’ own needs.

Supporting unpaid carers while the person they care for is in hospital via signposting to relevant support and information about their rights.

Working collaboratively with partners within the hospital, to raise awareness of carers and increase identification.
