Working with the Volunteering team and other key staff, this role assists in promoting the benefits and opportunities of the Give & Gain Programme at EMERGE. You will help us to recruit additional volunteers from the local community and beyond, by identifying and connecting with new networks and operational partners.  You’ll be a strong communicator, happy to jump on the phone or take the lead at in-person recruitment events.  You’ll be an experienced administrator with good data management skills to ensure we can accurately report to funders on our outreach and track the volunteers who participate in the programme. An understanding of handling confidential data, meeting targets and deadlines, and experience in recruitment are key skills for this role.

About The Felix Project

The Felix Project is London’s leading food redistribution charity, dedicated to ensuring good food is never wasted and no one goes hungry. Last year, our nearly 180 staff and over 15,000 volunteers collected 32 million meals of surplus food, distributing it to Londoners in need through a network of over 1,100 community organisations, charities, and schools.

In London, one in five households with children lack reliable access to nutritious food, while the UK wastes 20 tonnes of food per second. The cost of living in London has risen by 24% in the last three years, and food prices continue to climb. About 14% of working families have turned to food support services for the first time in the past year, and 100,000 London families have less than £3 a day for food.

Our work has never been more needed, and demand continues to grow: we are building our expertise and impact in response. The Felix Project now operates from four main depots in North, South, East, and West London, with ‘point-to-point’ projects in Central London and Canary Wharf. The East London depot has a kitchen producing up to 5,000 meals per day from surplus food. A new 'Multibank' in Ealing distributes non-food essentials.

Purpose of the Job:
Based in one of our operational warehouses you will help support Felix’s missions through the development of a network of charities, community groups and other key stakeholders involved supporting vulnerable Londoners across London. Your work will help to build the network’s capacity to accept and distribute food through our depot operations, Green Scheme & Felix Connect and non-food items through Felix’s Multibank. 

The Community Coordinator role will support the depot and operational teams, responding to enquiries from the community network to help ensure the smooth flow of food and non-food items whilst delivering excellent customer service. This will include ensuring recipients of our food are compliant with all relevant legislation and guidance as required by our food partners and food business operators. 

Your work will help us to effectively monitor and evaluate our growth against our strategic objectives through robust data collection, monitoring and updating using our CRM system.

This is an exciting opportunity to join The Royal College of Radiologists (RCR) in our Governance team working on our Global activities and supporting our work in the Devolved Nations. 

The Governance team are seeking a brilliantly organised and enthusiastic self-starter to make a significant contribution to the College’s involvement in global activities. Alongside a focus on supporting planning activities, the Global and Devolved Nations Coordinator will help coordinate staff and doctors attending national and global events, liaise with our overseas partners and arrange member gatherings. A high level of cooperation and teamwork between staff members is necessary to fulfil this role’s functions effectively and efficiently.

The successful candidate will be an excellent communicator, able to work collaboratively with external customers across time zones, colleagues and senior members.

They will also have first rate administrative and organisational skills and the ability to plan and prioritise a varied workload. It is important that as a Global and Devolved Nations Coordinator, the successful candidate has a commitment to providing a professional, positive and responsive service, as well as an understanding of cultural differences.

A willingness to travel both in the UK and overseas is a requirement of the job, although this will be planned in advance and likely to be three or four times a year.

Key Responsibilities:

Your role will be primarily responsible for the smooth running of administrative and operational functions of the Retail Voluntary Services across Helen & Douglas House. You will be involved in recruiting and retaining valued volunteers and keeping our service running. You will be responsible for providing direct support and guidance to volunteers, manage volunteer training, development and engagement initiatives, and feed into the strategic development of the high-quality volunteering programme.

To be successful in this role, you will possess strong diplomacy, influencing, and negotiating skills. Your experience of using Microsoft packages including Word, Excel and PowerPoint will aid you in delivering training to staff or volunteers.

This is a full-time role with 3-4 days spent travelling to our shops, and 1 day per week spent supporting the Fundraising Team either working from home or from our office in Cowley, Oxford. We are looking for a qualified Nurse to work as an Admission and Discharge Coordinator Nurse in the Hospice based multi-disciplinary Specialist Palliative Care In Patient Unit. The Hepatitis C Trust has developed projects nationally whereby peers use their lived experience of injecting drug use and hepatitis C, to provide education and training to service users and staff in drug and alcohol, hostel and homeless services, increasing hepatitis C awareness, access to testing and referral to treatment, for people living with hepatitis C.

Working under the guidance of the Peer Programme Manager, this post will continue the development of the project, recruiting and coordinating peers across identified areas within West Kent. Working in partnership with hepatitis C clinical teams, drug and alcohol services and homeless service providers, the post will coordinate delivery of educational workshops, hepatitis C testing in community settings, ensure that service users are referred and supported through hepatitis C treatment and care.

This post will require extensive travel across the county and the post holder is required to hold a clean driving licence and have their own vehicle for work related travel.

About My Life My Choice

My Life My Choice (MLMC) is a multi-award-winning self-advocacy charity uniquely run by and for people with learning disabilities, founded in 1998.  The charity delivers a diverse range of innovative user led projects that enhance and empower the lives of adults with learning disabilities in Oxfordshire.  These established projects include a fee earning training and consultancy Professional Services team, the gig buddy and travel buddy schemes, a nightclub, campaigns and self-advocacy groups.

We are now looking for a committed individual who will enjoy a diverse and challenging role. The role holder will work across a variety of our projects. This includes working with the Travel Buddy Coordinator to ensure the delivery and growth of a high-quality programme of travel support for our membership.  Additionally, the successful individual will join the staff team in delivering self-advocacy groups, facilitate Quality Checks (peer inspections of local authority supported homes), and lead our crucial engagement with Oxfordshire County Council (OCC).  The work with OCC involves supporting and coordinating our members with a learning disability to effectively contribute and have their voices heard at high level meetings. 

This post calls for an individual with excellent project coordination, administration, and communication skills. We need a resilient individual who thrives on regular face-to-face interaction with beneficiaries and is as equally comfortable with professionals across the sector. Purpose of the role

To support Lifelites’ Services team in designing, developing and delivering the multi-channel Lifelites Learning programme. Assisting the Lifelites trainer to deliver training for staff across children’s palliative care in person, online and through e-learning. Lifelites Learning complements the provision of Lifelites technology packages, increases confidence and skills of staff and provides high quality, accessible learning resources to maximise the impact of assistive technology.

The role will also provide vital support and resilience to Lifelites technology provision Lifelites 25, our exciting expansion programme, which will take Lifelites’ services to the wider children’s palliative care sector.

Main duties and responsibilities

Training Development

- To support the Lifelites trainer with the design and development of Lifelites’ high quality installation and ongoing learning and development programmes

- To assist in producing bespoke training itineraries, handouts and user guides for installation and ongoing training sessions aligned to Lifelites technology installation schedule

- To support the development and implementation of Lifelites e-learning platform, including course modules and interactive learning

- To assist in creating and publishing simple, intuitive and accessible user guides on Lifelites’ Learning Hub

- To work with the Head of Services, Trainer and Lifelites technology service provider to identify and evaluate new assistive technology solutions suitable for implementation within children’s palliative care settings

Delivery

- To support the delivery of Lifelites face to face and online training sessions

- To deliver ad hoc face to face training, super user and showcase training sessions for Lifelites staff and other partners as required

- To deliver training for new services supported through the Lifelites 25 Programme.

Co-ordination and monitoring

- To work with the Trainer to respond to queries and training requests and schedule installation and ongoing training sessions for children’s palliative care partners

- To capture and record training monitoring data, contributing to internal and external communications, evaluation and reporting processes

- To represent Lifelites within children’s palliative care settings and forums, providing feedback for Lifelites’ staff on emerging issues as required

ISEAL is offering an exciting opportunity to work in a sustainability focused setting for a proactive and process-oriented individual with a passion for good customer service and stakeholder relationships.  The role provides administrative, logistics, and communications support as part of the team dealing with all aspects of membership and offers valuable exposure to a wide range of sustainability schemes. ISEAL supports sustainability standards and similar market-based sustainability systems to improve their impacts on people and planet. Its membership team is the key point of contact for aspiring new Community Members, subscribers and existing member organisations. The coordinator will be in contact with a diverse range of organisations working in sustainability, assisting in pitching and providing specialist services, as well as helping prospective Community Members to navigate the member application process. Additionally, the role will coordinate activities relating to members fulfilling the requirements of membership and will ensure accurate record keeping for services and member related processes.  

To be considered for this role, you will be highly organised with great attention to detail and a committed approach to serving customers or stakeholders. You will enjoy working on a varied and changing set of tasks related to different areas of membership provision. Having gained a good level of work experience, you are familiar with process administration, customer service, stakeholder engagement and communications. You have an interest in learning more about member compliance processes and service provision. This role reports to two associate managers in the team, covering the different aspect of the role.

Key Responsibilities we will entrust you with:

Services and member prospecting

• Act as the first point of contact and respond to enquiries about ISEAL, services and membership
• Schedule and co-lead prospect calls, pitching relevant services from our portfolio, taking notes and supporting follow up actions
• Help member prospects understand the value of ISEAL membership and our services, and coordinate outreach to prospective members ahead of Community Member application windows
• Use and continually improve record-keeping systems, tracking customer relationships on Salesforce and support member/customer prospecting processes
• Coordinate the ISEAL Insight subscription, including proactively recruiting new customers and supporting existing relationships, tracking payments, and coordinating the delivery of the Insight programme of content
• Support delivery of ISEAL’s training courses, including coordinating promotions, registrations and event logistics
• Deliver administrative tasks to support ISEAL’s tailored services processes, including preparing service agreements on contract management system and managing payments

Membership applications and compliance programme

• Coordinate application process for aspiring Community Members, providing guidance throughout their application journey, addressing questions, supporting submission of materials, and managing completeness checks and comment periods.
• Liaise between prospects and compliance team to respond to questions regarding application process and requirements and maintain application log in Salesforce.
• Create and coordinate member compliance activities, including piloting process and external independent evaluation schedules
• With supervisor support, develop and maintain effective relationships with members, prospect members and evaluators in relation to the compliance programme and application process.
• Deliver administrative tasks to support the compliance programme and application process, including but not limited to scheduling calls, sourcing and maintaining evaluator records of competence and conflict of interest
• Maintain and track data across various platforms, updating tracking logs, and update web content on the ISEAL website.
• Coordinate information and produce reports and minutes in support of programme management, Membership Committee and strategic development of the compliance programme
• Contribute to systematic measurement and improvement of the compliance programme

General

• Assist in promoting best practice in use of IT, communications and knowledge management systems within projects, and support efforts to help bring about improvements
• Provide ad hoc support to organisation-wide initiatives, if needs arise
• Be a collaborative and effective team member, liaising with colleagues at all levels across organisation
• Additional responsibilities as assigned by supervisors

Experience, Knowledge and Attribute

• Experience working or interning in a support/administrative role, ideally in an international NGO, professional or membership organisation
• Some experience in a role focused on customer service/communications or user experience and genuine interest in providing exceptional customer service
• Strong organisational skills, with some experience with supporting administration, meeting coordination, logistics, contracts, proof-reading, communications, etc.
• Good time management and ability to organise multiple simultaneous tasks efficiently with precision and strong attention to detail
• Excellent written & spoken English, with proven ability to write clearly and concisely
• Confidence in communications with colleagues, customers and external partners, displaying professionalism and right level of tact and awareness of others
• Comfortable communicating with stakeholders in online and in person setting (e.g. webinars, workshops etc)
• Ability to communicate and work effectively with cross-functional teams in a largely remote, international environment, including regular international time-zone calls
• Ability to thrive in a dynamic work environment with changing projects and working with multiple reporting lines
• Confidence in using the Microsoft Office suite and IT systems, familiarity with virtual meeting tools (e.g. MS Teams, Zoom, etc), use of contact management databases (e.g. Salesforce)
• Interest in social, environmental, and economic sustainability

Additionally desirable

• Experience in a compliance related role
• Some understanding of, sustainability standards and certification, which may have been gained in academic, internship, employment or voluntary settings

Other relevant information

Term: This is a permanent contract

Working hours: Full time, 37.5 hours per week

Salary:   £30,000 – 34,500 per annum, depending on experience (full time, 37.5 hours per week)

Location: London. Applicants will need to provide evidence that they are entitled to work in the UK. An ability and willingness to work in a hybrid work environment is required.

International travel: The post holder will be required to undertake occasional international travel
