What the job involves

The Policy and Health Influencing teams are responsible for using clinical data and evidence to shape what the organisation thinks and to develop solutions that drive change for men with and at risk of prostate cancer. This means working with clinicians, patients and stakeholders to interpret the latest changes in prostate cancer research, care, support and treatment which will help shape our strategic direction and activities. 

We’re looking for a Senior Policy Officer to join us on a fixed term basis for 12 months. Your role in the team will be to support the organisation by pinpointing the health policy and practice changes that will give men access to the best diagnosis, treatment and support.

You’ll develop evidence-based and patient-experience-informed policy positions that support the delivery of our strategic direction. You’ll horizon scan to identify relevant external health policy developments across the four UK nations and advise and support teams around the organisation with information on external policy developments, identifying routes to achieve change.

Additionally, you'll produce evidence-led policy reports and briefings, advising teams on external policy developments and identifying opportunities for change.

What we want from you

We’re seeking a skilled policy professional with experience in developing evidence-based policies and positions. You'll understand the importance of using evidence to create strong, reliable policies and have some knowledge of various research methodologies.

With a solid grasp of research methods, you'll be able to simplify complex clinical research into clear, accessible terms. Your ability to influence others will be crucial for representing our organisation externally and ensuring timely approval of new treatments, including contributing to NICE/SMC consultations.

You'll work closely with teams across the organisation to stay updated on external policy changes and identify opportunities for influence. By offering expert advice and support, you'll help us meet our strategic goals and improve patient outcomes.

About the role
Here for You is Breast Cancer Now’s personalised referral route to all of our services. 
There are 2 roles, both of which are responsible for making initial and follow up calls to primary and secondary breast cancer patients. 
We’re expanding our team due to demand and to continue to  ensure patients get calls within service level agreements. And to provide timely and trusted information and support to people diagnosed with breast cancer. This involves responding to safeguarding issues, collecting data, and deliver excellent information on the phone. 
The role also involves collaborating with colleagues focusing on the Here for You expansion and integration, as well as working with colleagues across the primary services, secondary services and personalised support services. The role also liaises with our Helpline team.

About you 
For both of these roles, we’re looking for enthusiasm and people with strong communication skills (especially on the phone) and who have experience of working in a fast-paced and people-facing environment. The right candidates will provide quality phone calls and be willing to adapt and innovate. We’re looking for team players, who understand the importance of co-production and who are motivated by providing information to breast cancer patients. You’ll bring excellent verbal and written communication skills and thrive on creating an inclusive work environment and working across multiple teams.

Centenary Campaign Lead

The 2026 Centenary is a significant milestone in CPRE’s history. This critical role will play a pivotal part in ensuring the success of the campaign. The postholder will be responsible for developing and managing the Centenary project management plan and engaging key stakeholders, including trustees, volunteers and supporters, internally and externally throughout the organisation, nationally and locally; monitoring objectives; and identifying and mitigating any associated risks.

With exceptional relationship building skills, you will support delivery of the Centenary Appeal, working closely with fundraising teams, and ensure our HNWI donors, key funders and volunteers are stewarded appropriately. We are recruiting for a Legal Clinic Manager who will be responsible for the day-to-day operational management of the Dickson Poon School of Law’s award-winning clinic, King’s Legal Clinic (‘the Clinic’).  The Clinic aims to improve access to justice and educate King’s students by providing free legal advice to members of the public through its Legal Advice Clinic; and working with local and international organisations on research and justice projects.

The Clinic is a busy legal office and learning environment.  Clinic staff work closely and collaboratively with law students (curricular and extracurricular) and a range of internal and external stakeholders.

About the role

The Legal Clinic Manager is responsible for the day-to-day operational management of King’s Legal Clinic (‘the Clinic’), under the direction of the Clinic Director and Assistant Director. The Legal Clinic Manager has line management responsibility for the Legal Clinic Coordinator and Legal Clinic Administrator.

Daily Clinic activities include; supervising students in the processing of potential client enquires across the in-house Legal clinics; suitability and conflict checks with law firm partners; allocation of cases to student advisors and internal and external supervisors; delivery and organisation of the Clinic’s research and justice projects and training program.

The Legal Clinic Manager is responsible for ensuring the Clinic works smoothly, efficiently and is a positive learning environment and workplace for students and Clinic staff.

The role holder must have excellent organisational, IT, project management, and communication skills.  An ability to relate to and work with a diverse range of students, partner organisations and clients. The position is likely to be of particular interest to a well-organised, proactive individual with experience of working in and managing in a legal environment and/or Higher Education with good academic qualifications. A background in legal practice and/or process improvement work, and demonstrable interest in access to justice is desirable.

About the role

The Communications Officer has a key role to play in planning and delivering communications to key stakeholders including carers, members, supporters, volunteers, partner organisations, and staff. The post holder will write, edit, co-ordinate and publish content across various channels, including the website, social media, digital, print and through integrated communications and marketing campaigns.

The Communications Officer will deliver consistent messaging, including across all nations, appropriate for audience and channel, that helps build awareness of, and connection to, Carers UK.

The Digital Communications Manager role is a key member of this small core team, working to enable the #iwill Movement in 2024 and into the future.

With a strong shared focus on movement building, this role is critical. Working closely with all members of the team, plus #iwill Ambassadors, and partners, the Digital Communications Manager enables young people to tell their stories and share their experiences via #iwill’s online channels. These insights help us to unlock the impact of youth social action, raising awareness and engaging with target audiences and #iwill stakeholders through social media and digital platforms. Through creative and engaging digital communications, designed and shaped with young people, this role plays a central function in supporting the #iWill Movement to create long lasting change via the power of youth. 

We are looking for an extremely organised, creative, personable, and self-motivated person, but also looking for someone who can demonstrate complete commitment to and understanding of our organisational values and the six #iwill principles; and of course, someone who demonstrate a passion for the power of youth and social action!

As the Youth Director, you will lead the development of service projects for students aged 9-18+, manage resources and budgets, and coordinate volunteer participation.

Key responsibilities:
* Manage resources and prepare a budget for the projects and equipment
* Organise monthly meetings with students, oversee liturgical services, and conduct volunteer training sessions as needed
* Maintain regular communication with partner schools
* Regularly review and update all policies and guidelines

About you
* Recent experience of working (for at least 2 years) with young people as a teacher, chaplain or within a youth retreat centre.

* Demonstrable organisational skill, with proven record of timely delivery of projects
* Proven decision making and negotiation skills, with the ability to influence stakeholders.
* Proven experience of effectively managing a resource budget.
* Good IT knowledge
