About the Role
Medical Aid for Palestinians (MAP) is responding to the largest emergency in our 40-year history. Over the last year support for our cause has seen significant growth in income as tens of thousands of supporters have joined MAP. Our challenge now is to retain this interest and ensure we sustain income as we respond to the ongoing emergency and the longer-term health of Palestinians over the coming years. With an ambition to be a £50m organisation in the next five years, our fundraising operations team, consisting of database and supporter care functions, will play a key role in enabling over one million Palestinians to access improved healthcare annually by 2028.
The Head of Fundraising Operations will enable fundraising operations to keep pace with the growth in income, futureproofing systems to ensure effective co-ordination and organisation to underpin fundraising activity, as well as delivering on an incredible supporter experience. With a new CRM in place, the role will design and implement a range of systems/processes, maximising the capabilities of the database. Working closely with internal teams including finance, the role will support external-facing fundraisers to achieve their targets, through excellence in data quality and the highest standards in supporter care.

Duties and key responsibilities
Leadership, Strategy and Planning
- Build and inspire a high-performing, results-oriented team focused on delivering fundraising operations and supporter stewardship
- Lead the development of the data and supporter services strategy
- Lead the implementation and ongoing management of efficient fundraising operations, including MS Dynamics processes, finance and activity reporting and making sure that the Fundraising Team have easy access to accurate information at all times.
- Collaborate with the Director, Deputy Director and Heads of teams to develop team plans aligned with the Fundraising strategy.
- Working with the Head of Technology, integrate systems and proactively stay ahead of emerging trends and horizon scanning to ensure MAP’s fundraising operations takes forward the latest developments.
Budgets
- Create and manage annual and three-year rolling budgets for fundraising operations.
- ·Lead on the tender and appointment of suppliers who will partner on our fundraising operations and supporter services function.
Compliance and reporting
- Ensure all our fundraising operations remain compliant, following guidance from the Chartered Institute of Fundraising, Information Commissioner’s Office (Data Protection) and the Fundraising Regulator, as well as embedding best practice.
- Establish and maintain effective systems for donor and prospect pipeline management and provide regular management reports to the Fundraising Heads to enable them to assess fundraising progress, reallocate resources and ensure we meet our income and activity targets.
- Support the Director and Fundraising leads in KPI reporting to the Senior Management Team and the Board of Trustees.
- Develop and maintain documentation on processes.

Main duties:
- Board Administration: You will support the Secretary in planning and overseeing the running of Trustee elections; oversee the induction programme for new Trustees; maintain the website to ensure that it remains up to date with membership records and terms of office; assist with the servicing of Board Committees and act as Minute Secretary if required, producing accurate and timely minutes.

You will create and maintain a register and review cycle for organisational policies.

Person specification:
The successful candidate will be a highly organised administrator, with a wide range of skills, who will be able to provide guidance to the Director and Officers across UKMT’s governance and executive activities. About this role:
Reporting to the Deputy CEO, the Communications and Policy Manager will support SIB’s track record of sector, government and media engagement, notably the high standard of publication set through its media partnerships with Tortoise and the Financial Times, its contributions to the policy landscape in the social sector, and its in-house data analysis and insight generation. This new post will contribute to SIB’s ongoing communications and policy work and its reach and influence.
Key responsibilities
1. Support the delivery of a comprehensive plan for our communications and policy activity, combining ongoing promotional communications, specific activities for funds and programmes, and proactively generated content and opportunities to influence
2. Co-ordinating with SIB partners in developing and delivering communication work, on major projects such as the Youth Investment Fund, the Recovery Loan Fund and the Enterprise Development Programme; ensuring that it is powered by data and customer insight of the highest quality
3. Keeping track of policy developments in areas of strategic importance to SIB, notably in social investment, youth, community energy and infrastructure investment. Writing briefings on key policy developments related to SIB’s strategic priorities, proactively identifying opportunities to further our policy agenda; also researching and preparing responses for relevant external consultations, using SIB data and evidence

About the Role
Reporting to the Deputy CEO this is an exciting role supporting one of the UK’s leading social investors.

ABOUT THE ROLE
We are seeking a dynamic and self-motivated Enhanced Hostel Intensive Needs Support Coach in Medway to join us on a fixed term contract until 31st March 25 as part of the Rough Sleeper Initiative Project - RSI (this is likely to be extended but is funding dependent) to provide effective practical and personal support and guidance to Pathways’ clients during the period of their stay in our accommodation to enable them to become more resilient and to live independent lives.
Pathways to Independence is committed to becoming a psychologically informed environment; one which considers and responds to, the potential impact of trauma in every area of its service delivery and design
The primary responsibility of the RSI Enhanced Hostel Intensive Support Coach will be to provide personalised support and guidance to individuals referred to Pathways to Independence through the Medway Rough Sleepers Initiative. This will include assessing client needs and providing support to meet these needs, completing safety plans, ensuring the client can identify and access relevant services, liaising with other statutory and voluntary agencies to ensure the appropriate support for clients.
You will be allocated a caseload of between 5 and 7 clients who have a history of non-engagement, rough sleeping and complex needs. You will be expected to be proactive, in engaging clients demonstrating an approachable, flexible and caring style. The Intensive Needs Support Coach will be required to participate in activities to encourage the development of skills and the building of positive relationships within the local community.
Shift Pattern: 37.5 hours per week, Monday to Friday 9am - 5pm. You may need to work flexibly outside these hours as per the requirements for the service, residents and participants. You will be based across multiple projects in the Medway area.

What are we looking for?
- Experience of working directly with people who have experienced homelessness, with issues around substance/alcohol use and/or mental health
- Experience and ability to build rapport and develop a good working relationship with clients who are using substances, some of whom may display challenging behaviour
- Experience of communicating, liaising and negotiating effectively with a wide range of people including clients, other staff, and representatives of other agencies such as local authorities and statutory services and the general public to build strong partnerships
- The ability to work in fast paced and pressured environment whilst managing multiple priorities and demands to complete delegated tasks or meet deadlines
- The knowledge, skills and ability to assess the needs of people with substance misuse/mental health and health problems and to formulate support plans and risk assessments
- A clear knowledge and understanding of harm minimisation and how it can be used as an intervention; a working knowledge of other interventions in the substance use field
- Proven ability to demonstrate compassionate and creative work practices with residents to address support needs and/or risks
- An open-minded approach to work with vulnerable adults and a willingness to learn new ideas and put these into practice
- IT Proficiency, ability to learn new software programs, basic Microsoft experience

OVERVIEW OF KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

The role aims to build relationships, identify peoples’ interests and goals and find appropriate opportunities for support. This role will be largely based in our main location, in Bromley by Bow, and Welcome Hub in East India Dock Rd, which we are developing in partnership with Poplar HARCA, an award-winning housing association in East London.

The Karen Hilltribes Trust (KHT) is a UK registered Charity that has worked in Northern Thailand for the past three decades. Main Purpose of The Position
The Fundraising Manager will work closely with the Thai-Karen team and Director of KHT to secure funding to support the successful operation of the charity and implement projects in KHT’s three key programme areas: Community Health; Sustainable Livelihoods; and Access to Education. The role will be primarily desk based but with opportunities to travel to the field. The successful candidate will be directly responsible for:
• Developing and implementing KHT’s fundraising strategy;

Person Specification

- Group work promoting independent living skills to young people in preparation for their ‘move on' housing options. - Support for those at risk of homelessness or those at risk of placement breakdown, for young people aged 16+. This is targeted one-to-one support for those young people who may be experiencing instability in their accommodation or placement.

Intensive individual support will be provided to those young people accessing the training flats (includes evening and weekend working).
What does the Job Role involve?
Your duties will include:
- This service provides support to young people from 9am until 8pm Monday to Friday and from 10am until 6pm on weekends.
- The service requires flexibility of work as we support young people around their needs. This means rota working including the evenings and weekends.
- Working with young people and professionals to develop agreed support plans.
- Delivering accredited group work programmes in the areas of Independent living and tenancy readiness.
- Visiting and supporting service users in their placements providing support to young people and their carers.

We are seeking an enthusiastic, organised and responsible addition to the Executive Team to provide additional support, working closely with the executive assistant to the chief executive. This is a new, key role to enable timely, effective and confidential administrative assistance to the chief executive and senior staff.
The successful candidate will enjoy working with a range of external partners and assisting our Board of dynamic and highly committed Trustees.
You will have excellent administrative and organisational skills and a commitment to high standards. With the ability to prioritise and plan your own workload, you will be a confident user of Microsoft Office applications. You will have experience of planning and coordinating meetings as well as taking minutes of meetings.
You will need to have a professional and sensitive approach in dealing with confidential information and have excellent written and oral communication skills to work with our external stakeholders and major supporters.
