About the Accelerating Reform Fund
The Accelerating Reform Fund is a new initiative which aims to transform social care services, making them more responsive to the needs of the community. It is a national programme, with 42 regions allocated to have their own projects. Greater Manchester is one of the ARF regions. The ARF has a particular focus on unpaid carers aims to boost short-term breaks for carers and improve hospital discharge processes. This work is made possible by Department for Health and Social Care grants. As an organisation, Gaddum has supported and collaborated with unpaid carers for many years, so we’re excited to bring our experience to the table. This role will be based in the Manchester team working to improve hospital discharge processes for Carers and will be based in one of the three hospital sites in Manchester (North Manchester General, Manchester Royal Infirmary, Wythenshawe Hospital)
Job Summary
To develop and ensure safe discharge planning and information for unpaid carers. To embed procedures to raise awareness of the needs of carers in a secondary care setting, working in partnership with the discharge and enablement teams. To empower carers to be involved in the discharge process.
Job Purpose
The purpose of this role is to support the early identification and referral of carers, ensuring they receive timely and appropriate support to meet their needs. The role focuses on enabling faster, safer, and smoother hospital discharges by addressing carer-related issues and providing clear referral pathways for hospital staff, acting as a critical link between secondary care and community services. PURPOSE OF THE POST
The purpose of the post is to work closely with POPS’ Director, to ensure the quality and compliant delivery of POPS’ service located currently across Northwest, Yorkshire, Leicester and Bristol. The Head of Fundraising is an exciting new role developed for the Society to increase fundraising and develop additional income streams to enhance the sustainability of the Society. They will help deliver the Transformation Plan, an exciting new project for Scotland’s oldest learned antiquarian Society to help deliver the Society’s vision: “Scotland’s past is for everyone to research, share, enjoy and protect, home and abroad”.
The Transformation Plan includes the acquisition and redevelopment of a B-listed building in central Edinburgh to co-create the most inclusive, low-carbon and heritage-rich space to work, visit and participate. This will become a heritage hub for Scotland’s past, helping to bring heritage alive for a wide range of public audiences. This role will provide the necessary vision, leadership, and fundraising skills which will enable the Society to achieve its fundraising targets and enhance its development program.
They will be an effective fundraiser and key contact for grant giving organisations, personal donations and legacies. They will report directly to the Director sharing collective responsibility to deliver the Society’s strategy and vision.
Initially on a 2.5-year fixed term contract, with the possibility of extension subject to funding, the post will work as part of the senior management team and liaise directly with staff, Councillors (trustees), members (known as Fellows) and other organisations and individuals to ensure the successful delivery of their responsibilities.

Person Specification
The Head of Fundraising will have substantial fundraising and management experience, a talent for building relationships and a proven track record in securing funds from statutory sources, foundations, trusts and major donors. They will be a key contact for grant giving organisations, personal donations and legacies. They will report directly to the Director sharing collective responsibility to deliver the Society’s strategy and vision. As such they will need the following:

· Demonstrable record of major capital fundraising leadership and delivery, ideally within a charitable organisation but others will be considered

Further Information
This post is an initial 2.5-year (30 month) full-time contract which will be extendible subject to funding. There will be a short probationary period during which time your skills and suitability for the position will be assessed. Development of fundraising for the Transformation Plan will be the immediate priority. A lot of work has already been undertaken by the Society in preparing for an NLHF application as part of this, but the skill and experience of this post will ensure it has the maximum chance of success. This will include liaising with others, including NLHF staff and our consultants, the More Partnership.
The tasks and role will develop in line with the requirements in that application and the implementation of the Transformation Plan and will be reviewed after the submission of the initial NLHF bid. However, the core responsibilities will remain the development and delivery of successful fundraising strategies, increasing income to the Society.

We are looking for a Trust Administrator who can look after the day to day running of the charity. The Maternal Mental Health Alliance’s (MMHA) Everyone’s Business campaign calls for all women throughout the UK who experience a perinatal mental health problem to receive the care and support they and their families need, wherever and whenever they need it. This role will play a key part in supporting MMHA’s successful campaign and helping drive change for women, babies and families affected by mental health problems during pregnancy and after birth.
Job purpose
- Support the planning, implementation, and evaluation of the MMHA campaigns.
- Contribute to researching and producing campaign materials.
- Maintain relationships with a range of stakeholders to support campaign objectives, including MMHA members, MPs, academics and lived experience champions.

We’re looking for an exemplary administrative and people-oriented person who will be administratively supporting the two Faculty Leads: the Director of Psychotherapy and the Director of Counselling. An important role in the organisation with responsibilities towards the Leadership Team.

The Opportunity
WorkWell is a government funded programme that offers an early-intervention work and health support and assessment service. This provides holistic support to overcome health-related barriers to employment, and a single, joined-up gateway to other support services.
We work in partnership with mental and/or physical health clinical teams, GP practices and other referral partners who refer clients who are currently in employment but are experiencing difficulties in the workplace and require assistance to help them return to work, remain in work or find new employment. This programme will also support those who have fallen out of work to get the support they need to return to employment. That support will be tailored to their specific needs and circumstances.
We need a team of four Work and Health Coaches to provide highly effective support to individuals and guide them on their journey to returning, remaining or finding new employment while also supporting them to improve their health and wellbeing. The Work and Health Coach will also be instrumental in supporting participants to remove health related barriers by sourcing and funding appropriate interventions.
