About the role
You will be joining an established, friendly fundraising team and will be responsible for promoting fundraising products and events within the local area. You will also be able to drive your innovative ideas forward by engaging with local schools, churches and other community organisations. As Regional Fundraiser you will be responsible for working towards personal income targets as well as maintaining high quality fundraising by keeping yourself updated with developments in the wider sector. You will build new networks within the area and ensure that supporters are given an excellent supporter experience.
About you
To be successful in this role you will have had a minimum of two years' experience in a Fundraising role or a role with a similar skill set i.e account management and have had proven experience of managing volunteers. You must have excellent communication skills and have the ability to motivate and inspire groups of volunteers. You must also be flexible to work evenings and weekends. Job Purpose
This position will lead the established department/s in order to deliver on key priority areas of the Strategic Plan in the areas of: breeding for unfavorable environments, breeding for favorable environments, quantitative genetics and biometrics (related to plant breeding), seed and delivery systems, and germplasm evaluation, host plant resistance, and including market access and nutrition traits and abiotic stress tolerance. The position will have a key role in strengthening the Institute’s role as a key provider of dynamic and innovative pre-breeding and breeding research outcomes leveraging IRRI’s scientific expertise, international convening role, trusted advisor status, and extensive partnerships network. This position provides the overall leadership for accelerating the development of new rice varieties and hybrids in all major rice-growing environments, with a particular emphasis on targeted product development pipelines that, based on clear product profiles, utilize molecular breeding approaches and distributed germplasm evaluation networks to maximize genetic gains. New breeding systems and tools have been put in place in the Rice Breeding Innovation department, however further innovative and cost-effective tools and breeding systems will need to be identified, developed and implemented to achieve the goals of making the IRRI breeding program the pre-eminent public sector cereal breeding program globally.
The Rice Breeding Innovations Research Director is responsible for assuring success in a global context, while focusing on South Asia, Southeast Asia and Eastern and Southern Africa. The position also requires an understanding of breeding information management systems, intellectual property, and an ability to work with the private sector with the assistance of business development specialists. In addition to being a recognized international expert in the field, the successful applicant will have the leadership and change management experience, standing and personal qualities required to provide inspirational leadership to a group of Research Unit Leaders, and provide strategic guidance in research innovations, partnerships and delivery of programs and projects. Key Responsibilities
- The purpose of this role is to lead the charities Lotteries and Raffles team which has the goal of generating and inspiring support from both new and existing supporters. This person will advance existing products and campaigns towards their full potential as well as develop new campaigns and activity that drive growth, retention and engagement. In doing so, they will act as a key support to the Executive Director of Individual Giving and Lotteries in ensuring that the department achieves its income generation goals.
- Develop a clear vision and strategy to deliver sustainable income growth within the prize led fundraising channel.
- Drive and oversee all day-to-day activity around lotteries and raffles, ensuring campaigns are effectively coordinated and that broader teams are enabled to support delivery.
- Proactively find ways to increase the impact of the Lottery and Raffle income streams by developing and testing new approaches to player recruitment, retention and engagement.
- Supported by the Executive Director of Individual Giving and Lotteries ensure compliance of the KSS lottery activities against the charities Gambling Commission license conditions
- Ensure that the operations of the entire income stream, including those delivered by external parties, adhere to guidance and legislation set out by associated regulatory bodies. This includes but is not limited to the Gambling Commission, Charity Commission, Fundraising Regulator and Chartered Institute of Fundraising best practice guidelines.
Head of Lotteries and Raffles
The role of Head of Lotteries and Raffles is part of the management team within the Individual Giving and Lotteries directorate. This directorate plays a crucial role in fostering strong relationships with our supporters and generating sustainable income for KSS. Our Lotteries have a combined income of £9 million per year, and the Head of Lotteries and Raffles will be responsible for ensuring the consistent growth of these lotteries, and to ensure that we provide engaging and safe fundraising avenue for our supporters.

About the Role
The Corporate Fundraiser will work closely with the Corporate and Community Fundraising Manager to secure new relationships across the Fylde Coat, developing a pipeline of sustainable income. You will identify and secure new opportunities, including corporate partnerships, sponsorships, CRM initiatives, Charity of the Year programs, and gift in-kind donations. About You

The Fundraising Officer - Events role sits in the Events team. This team is responsible for a portfolio of third party organised sports events - such as London Marathon, Tough Mudder, Cardiff Half and skydives - that will raise more than £4.5 million in the next financial year.

You'll play a pivotal role in the Community, Events and Products Fundraising team's strategic objective to sustain and improve the portfolio to raise £12.9million by March 2026

Key duties and responsibilities
The post holder will:
-Steward event participants; this could include undertaking welcome calls, sending supporter communications, providing ongoing fundraising support, following up non-payments, personalised thanking, and supporter surveys. This can be done across a range of channels including mail, email, and telephone, online and face to face.
-Attend events to help enhance our supporters experience and deepen their relationship with Mind.
-Work with the Senior Fundraising Officer to deliver events fundraising activity. This can include planning, writing and submitting briefs, generating marketing and stewardship communications, working with third party agencies, setting up web pages, delivering memorable on the day experiences for our supporters, reporting and analysing live activity and conducting evaluations.
-Analyse and interpret data, including marketing and stewardship performance, and adjust tactics to continuously improve and ensure results are met.
