Sounddelivery Media is a dynamic charity that seeks to amplify lived experience stories and expertise to address social inequalities. We work alongside people with direct experience of injustice and inequality to advocate for themselves and their communities.
Our Spokesperson Network constitutes a network of media savvy spokespeople, who have direct experience of social injustices. Developed collaboratively with a network of leaders with lived experience, it aims to diversify the voices we hear in the media and make it more representative of the society we live in. They’ve become part of policy and advisory conversations: APPGs (All Party Parliamentary Groups), Governmental select committees, speaking at Party Conferences and joining advisory panels.
Our work additionally seeks to support the wider charity sector to develop and amplify lived experience stories and expertise themselves. We work closely with charities to help them develop and train their own panels and spokespeople and are currently facilitating Future Voices, a unique spokesperson training programme for migrant domestic workers in partnership with The Voice of Domestic Workers.

Prospectus is delighted to be partnering with the Fundraising Regulator in the recruitment of their new Regulatory Projects Officer. This exciting and newly created position will focus on driving the planning and delivery of proactive regulatory projects. This role is offered as a permanent, full-time position and will report to the Regulatory Project Manager. The role is offered on hybrid basis with two days in the London office.
The Fundraising Regulator is an independent, non-statutory body that regulates fundraising across the charitable sector in England, Wales, and Northern Ireland.
The Fundraising Regulator is committed to diversity, equality and inclusion. They want their workforce to be truly representative of the society they are here to support and protect so that they’re able to regulate effectively. They also want each employee to feel respected and able to give their best. They do this by operating a fair and inclusive recruitment process, which aims to reach a diverse pool of candidates. This is also supported by a range of policies that encourage a flexible and supportive working environment.
As the Regulatory Projects Officer, you will play a proactive role in supporting the Regulatory Project Manager with the planning, development, and delivery of key regulatory initiatives. You will gather and analyse intelligence, ensure compliance with the Code of Fundraising Practice, and engage with a range of external stakeholders, including charities, professional bodies, and other regulators. Additionally, you will assist in preparing reports and contribute to investigations that help identify future regulatory projects. Building strong relationships with external partners and collaborating with internal teams will be critical to the smooth and successful delivery of these projects.
To be successful in this role, you should have experience in casework, policy, or regulatory project delivery, with proven communication skills—both written and verbal. You must be able to interpret complex information, report it clearly to senior colleagues, and adapt your communication style to suit different audiences. Strong investigative skills are essential, as is the ability to build and maintain effective relationships with external stakeholders alongside being comfortable working both independently and proactively, as well as in a team environment.
While not essential, knowledge of the charity sector would be highly desirable. Familiarity with the Code of Fundraising Practice, along with a basic technical understanding of CRM systems, would be beneficial. Strong project management skills, particularly in planning, reporting, and delivering objectives, will further enhance your success in this role.
Please note interviews will be held in person W/C 4th November.
If this description resonates with you, we encourage you to submit your CV in Word format as soon as possible. Suitable candidates will be provided with further details about the role.
As a specialist Recruitment Practice, we are committed to building inclusive and diverse organisations, and welcome applications from all sections of the community. We invest in your journey as a candidate and are committed to supporting you in your application.
ABOUT THE ROLE
We are looking for a community organiser with a strong project management background, or a project manager who has trained as a community organiser to help us grow a new project, The Help Desk, while overseeing our Open Collective service. Open Collective is a platform which enables groups to transparently and collaboratively manage their funds. We fiscally host around 600 groups using OC – they are supported by a Programmes Assistant, who would be managed by this role. This will give you oversight of the service and provide you valuable insights into the needs of groups.
The Help Desk is a new project in SCN which will support our growing community of grassroots groups and movements within our ecosystem. Over the next 4 years, we are planning to build a strong, vibrant and supportive community amongst our groups, with access to resources, training and mentorship/networking and fundraising opportunities. You will be responsible for project managing the build-out of the Help Desk and developing and organising the SCN community. This includes monitoring progress and reporting against the funding secured. While some plans and activities have already begun, you would be expected to further shape the vision of the Help Desk, pivoting in response to feedback and learnings.
You will work closely across the Delivery Team to ensure that the Help Desk is relevant to the different types of groups we host, as well as the Head of Programmes, who you will support in consolidating insights for sharing with partners. Together with the Business Development team, you will also be responsible for exploring the income streams required for the following 5 years. You will also be managing the overall project budget alongside managing mentors, staff, volunteers, interns, and leaders, where appropriate.
ABOUT YOU
The role would suit someone that understands the needs of community groups and the pressure and challenges they face as they scale their impact, while also having agile and creative project management skills. A large part of the role is getting to know the groups and to support both the development of network weaving across the groups and building out the resources they need. Because of this, you will enjoy connecting with people from different backgrounds, and have good problem-solving skills.

We are looking for a Giggle Doctor Programme Administrator to join our busy programme team, to support the day-to-day operations of our Giggle Doctor programme for hospitals.
This is a part-time, one-year contract to support the running of the Giggle Doctor programme while a member of the team is on maternity leave. We are flexible as to which days are worked, providing that the post-holder has a fixed working pattern over a minimum of 3 days per week. About Us
Theodora Children’s Charity is a truly inspirational and pioneering charity which successfully works to improve children’s experience of being in hospital.
Theodora Children’s Charity UK is part of an international family of Theodora’s; originally established in Switzerland, there are Theodora Giggle Doctors visiting children in Switzerland, Italy, Spain and Hong Kong, as well as in the UK.
Over the past 30 years we have made a positive impact on over half a million children and their families in the UK and 3 million children internationally, improving children’s experience of being in hospital through visits from professional performers, called Giggle Doctors.
Our Mission and Values
At Theodora Children’s Charity we help children living with illness, disability and serious health challenges to feel better using the proven power of laughter. Our vision is to contribute to the wellbeing of children in the 14 core hospitals and specialist care centres we visit across England, as well as those we support virtually. Our Giggle Doctors are specially trained performers who are able to visit children in a clinical setting or through the Virtual Visit Programme.
By combining music, play, magic and storytelling our 21 Giggle Doctors bring joy and laughter to children in challenging times. From Dr Boogie Woogie to Dr Teapot, our Giggle Doctors wear their very own ‘doctor coats’, which represent their character, and spend time one to one with the children. Giggle Doctors create opportunities for children to play and interact through a range of musical and fun activities. Sometimes they will make balloon animals and blow bubbles, and at other times they will sing a funny song or simply listen and talk to a child one to one.
The play is always child – led, with each interaction being unique to the child and their needs. A Giggle Doctor visit isn’t just about one magical moment, it can have a significant and lasting impact on a child’s well-being. With each visit, the aim is to reduce stress and anxiety, increase opportunities for play, and improve children’s experience of hospitals.
Our trustees, office team and Giggle Doctors are united by our shared values of Authenticity, Interaction, Diversity, Excellence and Enthusiasm.
