Your role
You’ll be securing financial support for Brigstowe from individuals while simultaneously raising its profile among stakeholders through strategic communications and marketing efforts. This work includes:
1. Building relationships with community groups and corporate organisations, managing individual giving through the ‘Friends of Brigstowe’ programme, organising fundraising events and providing supporter care.
2. Developing and implementing marketing/comms strategies to promote Brigstowe’s work, producing branded materials (newsletters, reports, blogs, videos), overseeing our website and social media presence, and handling media relations.

You’ll have a proven track record in community fundraising, with a good understanding of stewardship that converts supporters into champions.
Creative and proactive, your previous marketing and PR expertise will bring compelling stories to life across various platforms, enabling us to connect with a diverse range of stakeholders. The Children’s Literacy Charity is a specialist literacy intervention charity providing expert tuition to children from disadvantaged backgrounds, helping them to close their literacy gap and achieve their full potential.
The charity has grown significantly over recent years, delivering its high impact Literacy and Reading Lab programmes to children who need the most help to catch up with their better off peers. This includes children experiencing economic disadvantage or who may have special educational needs or have English as an additional language.

PURPOSE OF THE ROLE
Responsible for delivering marketing content to promote the mission, vision and values of the charity. Your primary goal will be to increase awareness and engagement with the work the Charity does.

About Aspens
Aspens is a charity that provides high-quality person-centred care and support to individuals on the autism spectrum and with learning disabilities, and their families. We provide an integrated network of services and support across the South-East to empower individuals to lead their lives as independently as possible.
We support children, families and adults across Kent, East Sussex, West Sussex, Brighton and Hove, Surrey and the London Borough of Bexley. Our services include registered care homes, supported living, community outreach, day services, children and young people’s groups and support, specialist support, and online support for families and carers across the South-East.
Aspens has three charity shops in Bexhill, Crowborough and Paddock Wood and online stores on eBay, Etsy and Vinted. We also have The Bluebell Café and animal farm and a pre-loved donations centre in Pembury.
Purpose of Role
This role will work with direction from the Marketing and Communications Manager to deliver marketing campaigns to raise awareness of and promote Aspens’ services, income-generation activities including fundraising, retail and hospitality, and recruitment; engage with our internal and external stakeholders; and reach new audiences. A key part of the role will be internal ‘customer’ support, collaborating with departments across the charity to meet shared goals in line with Aspens’ strategic objectives.
Key Responsibilities
Campaign delivery
· Collaborate with the operations, fundraising, retail and recruitment teams to create and deliver comprehensive marketing campaigns to promote Aspens’ services, shops/e-commerce, hospitality, events and recruitment and meet shared goals in line with the charity’s strategic objectives.
· Create and deliver internal comms campaigns to drive engagement and increase retention of staff.
· Monitor and evaluate campaign performance by reporting on agreed objectives and KPIs.
Content Creation
· Develop relevant and engaging content to be utilised across channels, including, but not limited to website, social media, internal channels and email, in our shops, Bluebell Café and the community to reach new and existing stakeholders.
· Graphic design - production of assets for marketing purposes.

The Role
Reporting to the Community Fundraising Manager, you be responsible for generating and maximising income related to community supporter led events and initiatives.

ASH has recently agreed a new five-year strategy and effective and impactful communications is a critical part of achieving our influencing goals. The Communications Lead will be responsible for our digital and social channels, developing compelling content and copy, as well as managing our media presence and working with journalists to secure coverage of our messages, research and reports. There’s no such thing as a typical day: you could be involved in everything from creating a social post to explain the implications of a new policy, advising the team on new content ideas for the website, liaising with a national newspaper to comment on breaking news or managing the design of a key report for policymakers.
About the candidate

8. A flexible approach to working and a willingness to support colleagues across the organisation
9. Strong organisational skills – including excellent record keeping, and an ability to independently manage workload and work to deadlines, while responding to current events.
10. Enthusiasm for, and commitment to, the aims and objectives of ASH and an interest in public health more broadly. Understanding of policy influencing and government relations would be an advantage, but not essential.

INTRODUCTION
Spitalfields Crypt Trust (SCT) is an East London charity, providing practical help, support and training to people affected by homelessness and addiction. We are passionate about the people and communities we support and embrace creative, innovative and inclusive ways of working.

ROLE AND RESPONSIBILITIES
In this role, you will have the opportunity to use your experience and creativity to deliver an exciting digital, marketing and communications plan, including
Digital Marketing
Create engaging brand social media content and publishing it across our channels, Facebook, Instagram, LinkedIn, YouTube and TikTok.
Support services, fundraising and retail marketing on social media, including implementing paid-for advertising.
Create and edit photography and video content for our website and social media channels
Create and send out marketing emails using MailChimp and report on their performance.
Monitor responses on our social media channels, ensuring messages and comments are responded to in a timely manner.
Support our WordPress website, including updating pages and uploading posts and stories, and look for opportunities for search engine optimisation.
Monitor the performance of our WordPress website and ensure that senior managers are alerted to any issues that arise.
Communications
Write case studies, blogs and other written content, working with colleagues across the organisation.
Design posters, flyers, brochures and reports using Canva, ensuring they are within the SCT brand.
Ensure any materials adhere to SCT brand guidelines.
Retail marketing
Work in collaboration with charity retail colleagues to:
Develop collateral for SCT Shops and Social Enterprises, ensuring materials are high quality and within the SCT brand.
Ensure there is a regular flow of compelling social media content that creates customer loyalty and reaches new customers.
Other duties
Work with the Director of Fundraising, Marketing and Communications and colleagues across SCT on the implementation of our 60th anniversary campaign.
Maintain a marketing calendar and project plans using ASANA.
Work with the Director of Fundraising, Marketing and Communications on PR activities, engaging with journalists and the media, influencers and other stakeholders.
Work in collaboration with colleagues in SCT services teams.
·Attend events and be willing to occasionally work outside working hours (TOIL will be given).

PERSON SPECIFICATION
Essential
Digital Marketing
A minimum of two years managing social media accounts, including Facebook, Instagram, Twitter and Linked in.
A good understanding of GDPR legislation and how it relates to digital marketing.
Demonstratable experience of running a WordPress website, planning and uploading content and monitoring its performance
A demonstratable understanding of SEO and Google ads.
Demonstrable experience of managing paid for digital ads via Meta business manager.

Overall Purpose
The Office Administrator will provide comprehensive administrative and secretarial support to ensure the smooth and efficient operation of the Foundation. We’re looking for an experienced Senior Events and Community Fundraiser (Known internally as Public Fundraiser) to join our team at Scope on a temporary basis, until the end of October 2025. The role
The role is heavily focused on challenge events, with a combination of responsibilities across product management and event delivery.
You will:

- Proven ability to write media materials like reactive quotes, opinion pieces and longer form articles for publication to a high standard, for a variety of audiences and media outlets.
- Sound news judgement and an eye for a good story.
- Understanding of ethical story-gathering principles when working with spokespeople with lived experience and/or storytellers.
- Experience of working with volunteers and/or community groups, ideally supporting them to achieve media coverage or tell stories.
The team:
The media team is small but mighty. We have some exciting and ambitious team objectives to deliver that look at how Friends of the Earth is turning up in the media, alongside continuing to achieve impressive levels of coverage of Friends of the Earth’s work. Together, we will work to deliver the campaign wins that are critical to building a safer, fairer future, harnessing the power of stories from the frontlines of the climate crisis to change hearts and minds alongside the voices of our talented and growing pool of spokespeople.
