About the role

The key purpose of the role is to lead the development and delivery of the Trust & Grants Strategy: meeting and/or exceeding income targets, supporting the ongoing development and delivery of strategic objectives and KPIs, ensuring strong stewardship of our existing donor relations and prospecting new opportunities for funding. You will personally secure income from Trust and Statutory audiences in support of Freedom from Torture’s work across our clinical work, policy and campaigning priorities.

You will manage a committed team of three Trust & Grants Officers and work closely with the Head of Philanthropy and Partnerships to implement the fundraising strategy. The Trusts and Grants Team sits within the Philanthropy & Partnership Team in Freedom from Torture's friendly, creative and ambitious Fundraising & Communications Directorate.

You will represent the organisation externally with funders and work internally with colleagues to identify opportunities for funding, in the preparation of proposals and thereafter, reports.

About you

To be successful in this role you must have demonstrable experience of developing and implementing a plan to grow Trust & Grant income, successfully meeting or exceeding fundraising targets from a variety of funders and experience managing relationships with statutory funders and trust and foundations. You will have experience of managing fundraisers and supporting them to manage their priorities and portfolios. You will have experience of measuring and monitoring income and expenditure, and team performance.

It's essential that you have excellent communication skills and can build relationships across the organisation to develop strong fundraising ideas and support engagement with senior staff in building relationships with trusts. You will have experience of managing donor funded grants including review of financial information, preparation of donor reports and donor compliance. You must have experience and knowledge of statutory and grant fundraising research tools and grant writing in the UK charity sector.

In return, we offer a competitive package, with a generous 30-day annual leave entitlement, and 6% employer pension contribution (minimum 1% employee contribution).

Our policy is that all appointments will be at the start of the salary range but successful candidates will have the opportunity to move up the scale over time. The progression up the salary range is reviewed on an annual basis and subject to affordability. For this role, the salary range is £48,420-56,167 per annum includes London weighting.

About the role

This is an exciting opportunity for an experienced project management professional to shape how we use our skills, knowledge and resources to deliver projects that will enable us to make the greatest impact for people affected by breast cancer.

In this role you’ll manage and deliver significant, cross-organisation change projects from initiation to implementation, taking ownership of project planning and delivery. You’ll lead work to assess our project management needs and develop our organisational approach to managing projects. You’ll work closely with senior leaders and subject matter experts to identify project requirements ensuring that the solutions meet the needs of the business and collaborate with key stakeholders to understand their goals and objectives. 

You’ll also provide expert project management support for teams across Breast Cancer Now, developing tools and resources that will be pivotal in ensuring our projects are well-planned, executed, and evaluated, contributing to the overall success of Breast Cancer Now’s initiatives.

We’re looking for someone who is experienced in using a range of project management approaches to deliver strategically important projects in line with milestones, timescales and budgets.

You’ll be excellent at project planning and implementation. You’ll have strong communication and influencing skills along with the ability to inspire and motivate others to deliver on time and the confidence to lead and challenge appropriately to keep projects on track. You’ll have the experience and knowledge to establish an organisation-wide approach that meets a range of project management needs.

About the Role:

This role is a hybrid working role and is based at our Old Street offices, Islington, London for a minimum of one day a week and at our hospital co-location St Helliers Sutton subject to operational demand. As a Domestic Abuse Service Manager you will be:

• Effectively managing and developing a high quality, innovative and pro-active domestic abuse service for victims and their children, including those at highest risk.
• Managing a team of IDVAs providing regular supervision, case review and support.
• Demonstrating strong leadership and management skills/ experience with a resourceful pro-active attitude and ability to use own initiative.
• Ensuring that services are delivered in accordance with the service specification and performance targets set by the services funders, as well as in line with SafeLives criteria for delivering domestic abuse services. The services will also be in line with Victim Support's policies, IDVA procedures, business process and plan.
• Ensuring that the service prioritises the safety, security and dignity of service users and their children.
• Taking the lead in crisis situations and providing advice and guidance on risk, safeguarding issues and information sharing GDPR concerns.

The NGSN Communications and Partnerships Manager role is crucial to the successful coordination and delivery of the communications for GambleAware and the National Gambling Support Network (NGSN). The role will sit within the GambleAware communications team and will work in collaboration with the System’s Commissioning team, focused on building relationships with the National Gambling Support Network providers and act as an interface between the providers and GambleAware Communications team.

The Partnerships Manager will:

•  be the main point of contact for the NGSN providers on the day-to-day development and delivery of communications 
• be responsible for understanding the communications needs across the NGSN, working alongside the wider Communications team to address these needs, developing and delivering against a communications plan

About the role

The Global Partnership for Sustainable Development Data (GPSDD), hosted at the UN Foundation, is a dynamic international partnership of over 700 organisations. GPSDD connects stakeholders to address data gaps and harness opportunities for sustainable development.

In 2018, GPSDD , Sightsavers and partners, launched the Inclusive Data Charter (IDC)  to promote inclusive, disaggregated data for better understanding and addressing the needs of marginalised people. The IDC has grown significantly, with commitments from over 30 Champions.

Sightsavers, a co-founding champion of the IDC, prioritises inclusive data to support its health and inclusion strategies. The Programme Manager - Inclusive Data will work across GPSDD and Sightsavers, managing strategic programmes and partnerships to advance inclusive data initiatives.

Responsibilities

• Oversee IDC strategic planning and delivery, ensuring team collaboration with the IDC Technical Advisor and Advocacy Lead.
• Manage relationships with IDC champions, facilitating their engagement through regular calls and meetings.
• Foster partnerships between IDC champions, GPSDD partners, and other organisations to share experiences and strengthen inclusive data systems.
• Lead the IDC impact and learning pillar, capturing and sharing progress through data stories and knowledge products.
• Oversee budget development, monitoring, and reporting for IDC and Sightsavers, making resource allocation decisions.
• Collaborate with the IDC Advocacy Lead to identify advocacy opportunities and plan major IDC events.
• Support the Technical Advisor in providing resources and tools for Champions to develop and implement inclusive data action plans.
• Facilitate engagement of IDC co-facilitating partners, including GPSDD, Sightsavers, the UK’s Office for National Statistics and Foreign, Commonwealth & Development Office.
• Lead Sightsavers’ inclusive data portfolio globally, engaging with senior stakeholders.
• Line manage the Inclusive Data Project Manager and Inclusive Data Operations & Planning Coordinator, overseeing workplans and progress.
• Stay informed on trends in data disaggregation and inclusive data, including the SDGs and the goal to leave no one behind.

About you

The Programme Manager will provide programme leadership for the Inclusive Data Charter initiative, ensuring the development and delivery of agreed plans. You will coordinate the engagement of co-facilitating partners and ensure effective participation by Champions in Charter management. Additionally, you will advance reporting and learning mechanisms to track progress against Champion Action Plans.

The Programme Manager will oversee Sightsavers’ inclusive data programme at a global level, offering strategic leadership across the portfolio. Strengthening relationships with internal stakeholders and external strategic partners will be key to advancing organisational objectives and enhancing Sightsavers’ leadership in inclusive data.

INCOME GENERATION 

• Support the Director of Fundraising, Marketing & Communications on the implementation of the fundraising strategy, in line with changing landscape with a core focus on corporate partnerships, trusts and foundations, company giving and general appeals; 

• Collaborate on ideas for creative sponsorship and funding opportunities in line with our strategic ambitions and develop and submit high quality and compelling funding proposals and tender documents to unlock funding;  

• Work with key stakeholders, including our Policy and Programme delivery teams to scope and develop exciting new project proposals; 

• Develop and grow the pipeline, identifying opportunities for funding from a range of sources, primarily corporate partners but also engaging, trusts & foundations and statutory sources. 

• Maintain an effective database of contacts and stakeholders. 

  PARTNERSHIPS MANAGEMENT 

• Support the management of existing donor relationships through working closely with the Director of Programmes & Partnerships and Programme Management Teams across the organisation; 

• Ensure all funding and sponsorship terms and conditions are acknowledged, recorded and completed in a timely fashion; 

• Accurately maintain and update records and databases, ensuring compliance with internal policies and procedures as well as any legal requirements; 

• Work with the Programmes Team to contribute to high-quality donor stewardship for existing and new partners, through timely communication, gift acknowledgement, and tailored stewardship plans. 

STRATEGIC SUPPORT

• Maintain knowledge and understanding of the UK fundraising scene in order to input into the development and evolution of the organisation's fundraising strategy. 

• Work collaboratively with the Fundraising & Partnerships Manager (Trusts & Foundations) to cover work, and ensure mutual learning and professional development 

• Provide relevant and timely information to the Director of Fundraising, Marketing & Communications for the purposes of reporting to the board.

Ealing and Hounslow CVS is a second-tier organisation that works with local charities and voluntary organisations in Ealing and Hounslow. Its overall aim is to provide a professional and effective service to local voluntary organisations through assistance, forming consortia, and bidding for major tranches of funding aimed at improving the lives of the local communities.

Role Overview:​​

• Provide infrastructure support to local voluntary and community sector (VCS) groups and social enterprises. ​

We are looking for a Communications Manager to join our progressive and dynamic Communications team!

The postholder's responsibilities will include:

• Increasing the reach and impact of KCLSU profile and visibility through the delivery of high quality and influential communications and PR, ensuring KCLSU is effectively able to manage internal and external communications and public affairs.
• Supporting the Head of Communications and Digital in managing the Communications budget.
• Supporting the development of KCLSU's press/PR/external communications strategy to maximize media coverage across all areas of KCLSU in sector specific and local, regional and national media.
• Managing a small Communications Team, with a focus on member engagement and consistent, clear, and inclusive messaging across a variety of media.
• Taking a lead role in working with elected representatives to communicate campaigns and events, ensuring work is prioritised in line with strategic priorities.

To help us in this next phase of development, we are recruiting for a newly created position - Senior Evaluation and Data Manager. This exciting role will report to the Director of Learning and Impact and work alongside the Senior Evaluation and Research Manager. The role will have two main areas of focus. First, the role will help lead a rolling schedule of formative evaluations on activities in local sites including pre-and-post quantitative outcomes analysis. Second, the role will support local learning and high-quality implementation through harnessing the power of quantitative data.  

You will be a skilled evaluation and learning professional with strong skills in quantitative data analysis. You will also be comfortable working in a fast-paced environment and committed to the need for continued learning and improvement, as a basis for achieving Thrive at Five’s ambition to develop an effective and replicable place-based model for supporting early childhood development.

Laurence’s Larder is non-referral and open to all, we bring people together, alleviating both social isolation and food poverty, while utilising surplus food.  We are also endeavouring to help address some of the underlying needs that contribute to food poverty, and continue to add more support services to our offerings.

About the role

The Development Manager is a new and important role at The NewBridge Project, which will support the effective management of fundraising and reporting across our work. 

You will support the development and implementation of a fundraising strategy and evaluation framework, and work alongside a small and committed staff team to understand, evaluate and champion our work through compelling written reports and applications to new funders.

We are keen to meet candidates who share NewBridge’s values and commitments to working in solidarity with and supporting the artists and communities around us, who understand the importance of evaluation in meeting requirements of funders/partners, and as a way to learn, build on our work to date, and tell the story of what we do.

You’ll have direct or transferable experience across fundraising, reporting, evaluation and budget management, and be excited about working in an artist and community-led space/environment.

About The NewBridge Project

The NewBridge Project is an active artist-led community that supports artists, curators and communities through the provision of space for creative practice and an ambitious artist-led programme of exhibitions, commissions, artist development and events. 

Our programme builds solidarity with the people around us, and is community-centred, experimental, collaborative and socially conscious at its heart. We work with our studio members, the wider artistic community and our neighbours to create a programme that responds to their needs and those of the local environment.

Main tasks and responsibilities

Fundraising 

• Work closely with the Director and Programme Director to oversee the review, development and delivery of our fundraising strategy.
• Undertake research to identify potential new sources of funding from a variety of sources.
• Support and where appropriate lead on the writing of funding applications for core and project funding.
• Develop written case for support documents (such as case studies, needs-based analysis) that can be used for a variety funding applications.
• Input into the development and ongoing review of an ethical fundraising policy, in line with NewBridge’s values and ethos
• Work closely with the Director, Programme Director, and external evaluators, to embed and implement an evaluation framework into all strands of NewBridge’s work.

Funding Management & Reporting

• Oversee NewBridge’s obligations to funders and partners, through the production and submission of reports across multiple grant/reporting platforms. At present this includes:
  • Arts Council England 
  • Newcastle University
  • Newcastle Culture Investment Fund
  • North East Combined Authority - Skills for Growth Project (see more detail below).
• Manage and update reporting and evaluation timelines, working with staff to ensure we meet external deadlines.
• Manage, update and prepare up to date budgets for funders and partners when necessary.
• Write reports on progress/delivery for funders and partners, that demonstrate impact and progress against outlined objectives
• Work with Communications Producer and relevant staff to ensure funders and partners are correctly credited across communication platforms and public spaces where appropriate.

Management of North East Combined Authority Reporting & Operations.

• Lead on quarterly and annual reporting for North East Combined Authority, this will include:
• Processing quarterly financial claims
• Revising budget/cashflow on quarterly basis
• Submitting written progress report, and updates on key performance indicators and milestones
• Work with project partners Newcastle University, including;
• Preparation for bi-monthly steering group meetings and monthly operations group meetings, including:
• Scheduling and set up for in-person, hybrid and online meetings
• Taking and sharing meeting minutes and follow-up actions from above meetings
• Leading on the assembly and dissemination of papers for meetings.
• Gather necessary information from university to be inputted into reports/evaluation.

 Monitoring and Evaluation

• Work in collaboration with team at NewBridge to capture qualitative and quantitative data on audiences, participants and collaborators (including social impact reporting, equalities and diversity monitoring, environmental impact, and audience data).
• Lead on evaluation administration, including review and implementation of systems for recording data/feedback and completing data entry. 
• Attend events and activity at NewBridge in order to support with monitoring and evaluation.
• Work with external evaluators where applicable – at present this includes working with Ortus Economic Research to evaluate our North East Combined Authority Skills for Growth project.
