Title: Domestic Abuse Caseworker 

Responsible to: Centre Manager

Main Purpose of role: To provide advocacy and practical support to survivors of domestic abuse. 

Salary: £13.90 p/h

Hours: Full time, Mon- Fri. (part time working will be considered no less than 4 days per week)

Location: This role is predominantly based at Hillingdon Women’s Centre, but there is flexibility to work from home depending on caseload needs

Hillingdon Women’s Centre is 100% led by and for women. We are seeking applications for the position of Domestic Abuse Caseworker, dedicated to assisting women aged 18+ seeking support for Domestic Abuse. 

As part of our work, we provide comprehensive support services for victims and survivors of Domestic Abuse (DA) in Hillingdon. Our Specialist DA service offers personalised one-to-one support through dedicated Caseworkers. These Caseworkers conduct assessments to establish risk and well-being levels using the DASH SafeLives checklist and Empowerment Star assessment. They collaborate with the service user to develop a personalised safety plan, offering critical safety advice, assistance with accessing accommodation, referrals for legal advice, and connections to other statutory agencies, including the local authority, police, MARAC team, and mental health services. The role of the Caseworker is to inform women of their rights and options, empowering them to make informed decisions. This includes providing practical advice, dispelling myths, developing action plans, and offering longer-term support post-separation. The successful candidate will also be required to support the delivery of our Pathways to Healing DA recovery programme.

Our programmes aim to particularly support talent from Global Ethnic Majority, DDN (d/Deaf, disabled and neurodivergent) and low socio-economic backgrounds (LSEBs).

This role will manage a range of training and mentoring programmes including virtual and inperson activities. Working with a broad selection of industry partners from across the media and creative industries (including major broadcasters, advertising agencies and tech companies), you will support programme participants to gain the confidence, knowledge, skills and networks to progress their careers in the media, and contribute to developing a more representative media industry.

Key Responsibilities

Programme management and delivery

• Manage all aspects of a range of training and mentoring programmes, ensuring they are high-quality and impactful
• Provide regular project updates to our funders and partners
• Manage programme budgets including monitoring expenditure, forecasting and ensuring all third-party expenses are paid and/or reimbursed appropriately
• Support the monitoring, evaluation and reporting of the programmes you manage, ensuring impact is evidenced by high quality data, and produce impact reports for key stakeholders
• Work alongside the marketing team to support the production of marketing and communication materials and provide regular programme updates for the Media Trust website and social media channels, including end of programme case studies
• Maintain up-to-date programme data and reporting by inputting relevant data on a timely basis to our CRM system

Talent/participant engagement

• Lead the recruitment of participants including marketing and outreach, selection and onboarding
• Design, deliver and manage engagement and retention strategies, supporting participants to commit to the programme
• Be the first point of contact for all participants, and provide pastoral support throughout the programme, monitoring participants’ progress through 1:1 check-ins, providing additional support and access adjustments to those who require it
• Assess participants’ accessibility needs, ensuring adjustments are implemented to provide individualised support
• Work with programme participants and industry partners to develop engaging session content tailored to the cohort’s needs
• Facilitate increased understanding of industry mentors and volunteers on how best to support underrepresented talent
• Develop alumni engagement strategies and liaise with industry partners about upcoming job and work experience opportunities we can share with alumni

Industry engagement

• Manage relationships with key programme partners, providing regular updates and sharing feedback on their mentors and/or volunteers
• Source qualified industry trainers, workshop leaders, mentors and volunteers

What we are looking for in you

• A track record of effective project management and delivery
• Experience of working with diverse communities, including adjusting for accessibility needs
• Experience of designing and delivering training, with strong workshop facilitation skills
• Experience of organising and managing events, including online and face to face events, co-ordinating participants and trainers and overseeing logistics
• Experience of developing and implementing programme plans to achieve targets, and reporting against programme objectives

• Ideally some lived experience from within the groups we are aiming to engage with

The Parish of Mother of Unfailing Help, which comprises Leeds Cathedral and the Church of the Holy Rosary, Chapeltown, is looking to recruit a dynamic and experienced individual to play a key role in the running of this busy Cathedral Parish.

The role  will include some evening and weekend work.

The post holder will play a key role in establishing the operational infrastructure necessary to support the running of a wide range of activities at Leeds Cathedral, Cathedral House, Wheeler Hall, Holy Rosary Church and the newly refurbished Holy Rosary Community Room.

This is a new role whichrecognises the evolving demands of parish life and the advantages of introducing lay involvement in the operational management of our parish structure. The role requires excellent people management skills and will have day-to-day line management responsibility for a small team. It has a particular focus on facilities management and a key aspect of the role will be improving income generation from Wheeler Hall and the Holy Rosary Community Room as well as the day-to-day administration of the Parish, including the parish finances and administration associated with the Sacramental Programmes. The role promises to be very rewarding and would suit an applicant who is looking for the variety of a broad role, who thrives on collaborating with a wide range of internal and external stakeholders and who enjoys taking ownership of tasks. This role is an expansion of our employment pathway and will be our first dedicated employment coach for our students.

PiP has developed a unique reputation for our experience and quality of employment support for adults with learning disabilities. This has led to an increased number of referrals with a focus on employment, an expansion of our in-house social enterprise capacity, and more employers keen to work alongside us to diversify their staff base.

PiP is keen to respond to and meet this demand. This role for us is the next step in doing so, allowing us to increase our job coaching capacity and providing more dedicated resource for students on their employment journey. As to date our coaching has been delivered across our existing staff team.

We are looking for a part time Information & Advocacy Community Support Worker in Scotland, home based in North Scotland (Inverness or surrounding area due to travel requirements and location of NHS services).

You will ensure that service users (children and adults) and their families, receive high quality support, from the point of diagnosis and throughout their journey, and will assist them to access funding, equipment and care and support that they are entitled to. You will join a team that makes a real difference to the lives of the people living with muscle-wasting conditions, and their families, in Scotland. The role will be primarily home based, but there will also be a requirement to attend outpatient clinics within the region, attend home visits where appropriate and to support responding to queries through the helpline and information inbox. Some travel will be required to attend meetings and events outside of Scotland. You will work with both statutory and voluntary organisations, clinicians, and health and social care professionals to ensure that people living with muscle wasting conditions get the care and support they need to live well and independently.

This is an exciting role in our Immigration Team that will work closely with the team to ensure that the centre is able to provide confidential OISC Level 2 and 3 advice and representation, whilst providing support and training to colleagues working at Level 1.  The role is pivotal in providing highly skilled legal advice and representation to vulnerable clients across London at no cost to the individual. This is particularly important at a time where free or low-cost advice is becoming harder to find.

If you have the IAAS senior caseworker accreditation, you will be the key advisor with regards to Legal Aid work, including prioritising Legal Aid cases and ensuring that Legal Aid is used whenever appropriate throughout the team.

This programme supports school chefs to improve their school food, and begin their journey as food educators. We are looking for someone with the drive to continue to scale this programme nationally.

About you and the role

In this role, you will manage and scale the School Chef Educator Programme, a 10-week training initiative for school kitchen staff. You’ll oversee delivery, manage Chef Trainers, and collaborate with our School Engagement Manager to build partnerships that help us scale delivery of this programme. Focused mainly in London but with UK-wide responsibilities, you'll ensure high-quality, impactful training.

The School Chef Educator Programme covers topics such as Reducing Food Waste and Food Education. It is delivered in a blended learning format, through a mix of in-person training, bitesize webinars, and our online learning website. 

Your week might include meeting partners, booking training venues, scheduling sessions, recruiting schools, attending webinars, and supporting Chef Trainers at events.

We are looking for a Chief Executive to succeed our interim CEO at this pivotal time for our charity. 

The Chief Executive Officer will be instrumental in steering R-evolution through its next exciting phase of development. In collaboration with the Board of Trustees, the CEO will play a key role in defining the organisation’s strategic goals and objectives and will take the lead in driving their implementation. This leadership role will ensure that the organisation stays on course to fulfil its mission and reach its annual goals.
