We exist to end the harm done through gender-based violence. About the Service

Solace offers extensive violence against women and girls (VAWG) services these include a range of advocacy and support options for survivors, supported accommodation and floating support services across London.

The Amari Project is a 2nd stage Supported Accommodation for women who have been sexually exploited, trafficked or who have exited Prostitution.

About the Role

We are looking for Two Part-Time Housing Support Case Workers who will provide support to women who have been sexually exploited, trafficked, or who have exited Prostitution within a safe accommodation in Enfield borough. 

You will be responsible for providing casework to women living within the supported accommodation. You will provide risk & and needs assessments to clients and co-develop client-led support plans to best suit their needs. You will support the service users to achieve their goals around education, training and employment in addition to providing support to improve their health and wellbeing. You will support them to maintain their license and move towards independent living. You will be responsible for house management, ensuring the property is maintained to a good standard and regularly coordinating health and safety checks and reporting issues and repairs to the Landlord. You will be responsible for collating monitoring data for your line manager on a quarterly basis.

About You

The ideal candidate will possess knowledge and experience of supporting women who have experienced trafficking and sexual exploitation. You will be required to have an awareness of the impacts of trauma on survivors of trafficking and sexually exploitation.

You will have experience of managing risk and following case management procedures to meet the needs of the client group, and the ability to work with women to help them to understand their needs, risk assess, develop safety plan and support them in linking with other agencies.

You will have a working knowledge of the available legal remedies, housing, and welfare benefits.

Outside of this, you will have excellent administrative and time management skills and the ability to effectively manage a caseload.
