Two Senior Administrative Officer and Finance Business Support positions are available. These positions offer flexible working patterns to suit different lifestyles. One role is primarily office-based with hybrid options (3 days in office, 2 days remote) Monday to Friday. The other requires weekend work on-site (Saturday and Sunday) with two remote days plus one additional office day.

This organisation takes multiple intakes annually, offering a range of qualifications from Certificates to Doctoral degrees. This is a higher education environment with approximately 6,000 non-residential students. Many of the programs, including some degree levels, are offered on weekends.

• Income generation through bid funding and the management of the organisations budget, including financial reporting

• Responsible for risk management and safeguarding during all Partnership offerings
• Overseeing all placements and offerings, acting as the main point of contact
• Responsible for meeting the business plan as set out by the Board of Directors

You must also be proactive and have the ability to develop key relationships with an array of organisations in the local community.

Experience of working in a similar role would be advantageous, however we are also keen to speak to candidates who have experience of supporting people with their mental health in a voluntary capacity.

Our Emergency Winter Night Shelter Service is run seven nights a week in venues across west London including: Fulham, Kensington, Hammersmith and Richmond.

The Evening Project Worker is responsible for the following:

• Maintaining a friendly, supportive environment and cultivating positive relationships with guests, colleagues, and volunteers.
• Following best practice procedures for the security and safety of the guests and volunteers.
• Diffusing difficult or dangerous situations and summon assistance when necessary. Training will be provided. Writing regular shift reports using the In-Form client relationship platform.
• Carrying out regular checks around the shelter, checking conditions of all areas.
• Adhering to Glass Door’s operational and health & safety policies in all aspects of your work. Maintaining clear lines of communication with your colleagues including the Night Shelter Manager, Caseworkers, and the Operations Manager.
• Ensuring cleaning protocols are followed and implemented.
• Undertaking any other duties to aid the good running of the project, as required by the Shelter Manager or Operations Manager.
• Accurately reporting observations, interactions, concerns and actions with guests to their caseworker using written reports.
• Flexibility is required, as you will be working a shift rota that includes weekends and public holidays.
• On occasions you will also be expected to attend training, team meetings and other activities as required.

About the role:

The Regional Finance Director will provide the overall leadership and management for all aspects of finance to Ark Schools in the South London region. The role will be focused on ensuring processes are embedded across all schools; supporting schools new to the network (or with new staff structures) with transition as well as leading, with regard to finance, on strategic projects within the schools.

Our ideal candidate will be able to demonstrate:

• Experience in the implementation of financial processes, planning and reporting

Key Responsibilities: 

• To be responsible for all aspects of finance at the academies and developing the in-school finance teams to provide a high-level service to their principals and operations leads

• To work with Ark Central, and other academies in the Ark network, to develop, implement and embed standardised processes and procedures
• To be responsible directly to the Schools Finance Director for the strategic financial management in all schools in the region
• To control, monitor and evaluate the academies’ finances, ensuring compliance with financial requirements and value for money
• To ensure clear and timely management and financial accounts as required for the Regional Director, Principals, Local Governing Bodies, and Ark Central
• To work with the Operations Leads to negotiate, manage and monitor contracts, tenders and agreements for the provision of services to the Academies, to ensure that services are delivered to a high quality and support the operation of the Academies
• To work with the HR Business Partner to oversee all matters relating to payroll, including Her Majesty’s Revenue and Customs queries, National Insurance, benefits in lieu of pay (travel loans etc.), Give as You Earn scheme, and to ensure that appropriate controls are in place and robust checks are made in relation to the monthly payroll
• To be responsible for ensuring the region’s processes for pensions management and reporting are in place. This includes monthly and annual returns as well as audit, working with the HR Business Partner and school HR teams, as applicable
• To develop, enable and strategically lead a team of finance staff to deliver the vision for the region against its strategic priorities and timescales

The Financial Transactions Supervisor provides support to the finance team and is responsible for ensuring all financial transactions are processed in an efficient and effective way, and bad debt is kepy to a minimum. 

Proven exprience in a similar role is essential along with practical experience of working on both purchase and sales ledgers. Good communication skills with the ability to explain finanical processes to non-finance managers is required. 

This is a fixed term contracted expected to last approximately 12 months to cover a period of maternity leave. 

Main duties include

1. Timely and accurate processing of supplier invoices
2. Raise customer invoices (including event settlements) and ensure debt is collected and recovered
3. Supervise and support the weekly paymet run
4. Line management responsibility for Accounts Payable Assistant
5. Ensure sub-ledger reconciliations are completely 
6. Review all Aged Creditor listings on a bi-monthly basis and take appropriate action
7. Review Aged Debtors monthly and apply credit control procedures for outstanding debt collection

Job Summary

This role is an expansion of our employment pathway and will be our first dedicated employment coach for our students.

PiP has developed a unique reputation for our experience and quality of employment support for adults with learning disabilities. This has led to an increased number of referrals with a focus on employment, an expansion of our in-house social enterprise capacity, and more employers keen to work alongside us to diversify their staff base.

PiP is keen to respond to and meet this demand. This role for us is the next step in doing so, allowing us to increase our job coaching capacity and providing more dedicated resource for students on their employment journey. As to date our coaching has been delivered across our existing staff team.

The Turn2us E-learning resource is a key project aiming to equip non-professional advisers with the knowledge and tools they need to effectively support people experiencing financial insecurity.

Our e-learning project is in its early stages. While we've laid the groundwork and prepared initial courses, there's significant potential for the right candidate to make a substantial impact on its further development and expansion.

You’ll also be working with our benefits experts and communications team to create high quality information content for a variety of platforms and mediums.

You will be someone with experience in the creation of varied and high-quality digital and print content both written and visual, in particular e-learning courses, as well as a passion for developing a deep understanding of our users and their needs.

The ideal candidate can work independently and manage their own time to hit project deadlines. You will enjoy working as part of a small team but will also be able to work across the whole organisation to develop new content. ABOUT THE ROLE

This is a new post within this service area in which we are seeking an ambitious, person-centred leader to join our team in Royal Borough of Kensington and Chelsea (RBKC) as a Service Manager. In this role, you will report to the Area Manager, and you will manage multiple dispersed services across the RBKC region, managing a team of 9 support workers. 

The service provides 154 units of accommodation to people experiencing homelessness and who have complex needs. The services are spread across the area and are 24 hour supported accommodation sites. You will lead your service to comply with the needs of our commissioners, residents, and organisation, whilst supporting staff to create a Psychologically Informed Environment (PIE). You will have overall responsibility for your service to deliver high quality service delivery, performance, and improvements. 

We are looking for someone who is experienced in supporting those who face multiple and complex needs, ideally homelessness. We actively encourage applications from individuals from a diverse range of backgrounds, particularly lived experience; Naturally, we approach any emerging issues with empathy and sensitivity. We have a team of EDI Ambassadors who are staff volunteers and actively support us in fortifying our organisational value of Inclusivity. 

Shift Pattern: 37.5 hours per week, Monday to Friday in the face to face service, you will also partake in our out of hours on call duty and may be required to work flexibly to meet service needs and requirements.

• Understanding and/or experience of working with people of complex backgrounds, ex-offenders, mental health, substance misuse, challenging behaviours

OVERVIEW OF KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

Line Management/Leadership

• Manage the end to end employee lifecycle of staff, providing advice, guidance and support as required
• Facilitate the team in identifying solutions to challenges presented in relation to all elements of service delivery
• Proactively embed a culture of learning, development, reflection, and evaluation in a psychologically informed environment

Service Delivery

• Manage the overall day-to-day operational delivery of the service and work directly with colleagues, residents, and participants, as well as other stakeholders to provide a high-quality holistic service which meets the needs of all stakeholders
• Ensure service responsibilities and requirements are carried out effectively
• Work proactively to ensure the service and team meet and exceed Key Performance Indicators, and work in line with professional codes of conduct

Risk Management, Information Management, and Case Recording 

• Follow the relevant risk assessment and management procedures, share any relevant information with partner agencies as appropriate
• Champion, and act as a point of reference for safeguarding concerns within the service(s). Ensure all staff attend relevant safeguarding and training and use knowledge to coach and advise the team

Property and Housing Management

• Create and manage a welcoming, psychologically informed home environment for residents and participants, ensuring a continuous focus on safety, health, and wellbeing
• Ensure the accommodation in which residents live is clean and maintained to a high standard, in line with SIG’s property standards and meets all legal and statutory health and fire safety requirements to operate safely, effectively, and efficiently
• Ensure a provision of a high-quality housing management service to residents

Financial Management

• Manage the service’s budget and review monthly management accounts; manage set budgets effectively and ensure resources are maximised
• Maintain financial management within the service, including but not limited to, invoice management, arrears management, management of petty cash, and expense claims

Other responsibilities than those described above may be required to be undertaken from time to time and will be expected to be performed to as long as it is within the capability and level of the position.

Youth Worker (Women's Worker) – 9 Month Maternity Cover
We are looking for a highly motivated and passionate team player to join our growing team as a full-time Youth Worker (Women’s Worker) on a fixed term 9-month maternity cover contract. 
In this role, you will work within the Youth Work Team to deliver our frontline drop-in service and support our weekly and monthly activities to all young people experiencing homelessness.
You’ll specialise in sharing knowledge and expertise in gender-informed work, leading the delivery of our weekly Women and Non-Binary space, facilitating group sessions and supporting a caselist of young women experiencing multiple and complex needs.
Ideally you should be experienced in working with young people aged 18-25 and/or have demonstrable experience working directly with women (of any age). You will understand gender informed practice and have experience or transferable skills working with those who are survivors of domestic violence and other gender-based violence. You will also be committed to the safeguarding of all young people and delivering an inclusive and trauma-informed service.
You should be experienced designing, planning and facilitating a range of activities, able to work dynamically in a fast-paced day centre environment and be skilled in engaging a diverse range of young people in positive activities.

Growing Younger Team Roles – Mission Enabler (Young Adults)

The Diocese of Durham is seeking proactive, dynamic and pioneering individuals with a passion for reaching and discipling emerging generations to be part of our new Growing Younger team of Mission Enablers.

The Growing Younger team will work collaboratively and creatively to enable the delivery of the Growing Younger stream of the Diocesan Transformation programme, with a specific focus on building mission and discipleship pathways for 0-25s, growing missional chaplaincy in FE colleges and schools, and raising up new youth and children’s leaders.

The successful candidates will each have a focused area of work (children, youth, young adults) and will work both individually and collectively to support the development and implementation of local mission initiatives, spending a substantial proportion of their time in parishes and deaneries to raise local aspirations, grow local vision and strategy, increase local capacity and pioneer local mission.

Ø  Have a deep commitment to a personal Christian faith with a motivation to see that grow in emerging generations, and a prayerful and hopeful response to challenge.

We are seeking an ICT Field Services Engineer to provide first, second, and third-line support services to our people and maintain and improve our infrastructure. The successful candidate will play a key role in delivering the hospice’s end-user strategy, maintaining fit-for-purpose technology solutions, deploying hardware, and providing first-class support.

In this new and exciting role, you will be required to:

· Travel to our people across the city to our hospice sites, shops or homes to provide in-person services, managing the end-to-end field service jobs, ensuring that all requests are managed through our system and all resolutions meet service level agreements

· Work collaboratively with other professionals in the organisation to devise suggestions for expediting maintenance and troubleshooting procedures, ensuring all documental is completed and all complexities are resolved

· Provide day-today support and have responsibility for the maintenance and upkeep of our hospice and retail shop infrastructure

Requirements:

· You will hold a degree in a computing relating subject or possess specialist-underpinning theoretical knowledge supported by relevant practical experience.

· You will have experience in 1st, 2nd, and 3rd line support, and be a competent and self-sufficient problem solver.

· You will be competent with any operating systems (e.g. Microsoft, Linux, Apple Macintosh), and be able to administer all Office 365 and 365 admin packages, including Intune.

· You will be able to manage multiple priorities and apply project management skills

· You will be highly skilled in Cisco routing and networking and have knowledge of hardware vendor’s equipment such as TP-link, Draytek and Sophos

· You have experience in networking, copper and fibre cabling and be experienced in deploying networking hardware.

· You will be an excellent communicator and be able to build effective relationships at all levels within the organisation.

This position involves safeguarding the personal data of beneficiaries, employees, donors, and partners, and integrating data protection principles into all aspects of the organisation’s operations.

This is a permanent, part-time position, requiring three days a week.

About the Role:

1. Monitor and ensure compliance with all applicable data protection laws and regulations, including GDPR, and other relevant legislation in the countries where INGO operates.
2. Develop, update, and maintain the organisation’s data protection policies, procedures, and guidelines to reflect current legal requirements and best practices.
3. Develop and implement a comprehensive data protection strategy that aligns with the organisation’s mission and operational needs, ensuring data protection is embedded in all processes and activities.
4. Develop and deliver comprehensive training programmes on data protection principles and specific legal requirements, including SAR handling, to educate all relevant stakeholders.
5. Lead the organisation’s response to data breaches, including investigation, mitigation, notification, and reporting to relevant authorities and stakeholders.
6. Act as the primary point of contact for individuals regarding their personal data. This includes responding to queries about data handling practices etc.

About You:

To be successful in this role, you will need:

1. Bachelor’s degree in law, Information Security, IT, or a related field.
2. Proven experience in data protection, privacy law, or a related field, preferably within an INGO or non-profit environment.
3. In-depth knowledge of global data protection laws and practices, including GDPR, and an understanding of the legal and regulatory environments in the countries where INGO operates.
4. Strong understanding of information technology and data management practices, with the ability to work effectively with ICT professionals to implement technical data protection measures.
5. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively convey complex information to a diverse audience and influence behaviour at all levels of the organisation.
6. High level of integrity and professional ethics, with a commitment to upholding the organisation’s values and mission.
