Job description

Planning Aid London (PAL) is seeking a remote volunteer Prospect Researcher to support our fundraising and supporter engagement campaign running from April to June 2025.

This short-term role (2–3 weeks, flexible) involves identifying individuals, organisations, and companies with an interest in planning, placemaking, and community development.

Your research will help PAL connect with potential donors, campaign amplifiers, and individuals who can make warm introductions. Tasks include online research via social media, professional networks, and publications; recording findings in a structured spreadsheet; and tracking your volunteer hours. This role is ideal for someone with strong research skills, a keen eye for detail, and an interest in community-driven planning. It offers valuable experience in nonprofit fundraising and prospect research, with flexible hours and opportunities for recognition and professional development.
