It is an exciting time to join the charity - we have a new CEO in post who has plans to take this charity to new heights - reaching even more children than ever before and we need an experienced fundraiser who can help us achieve that vision. Working as part of a small fundraising team you will have the ability to really make a substantial difference.
The role is advertised as 15 hours however there is the hope that this will end up being increased in the not too distant future. We will consider candidiates working remotely but for those based near HQ (Newquay, Cornwall) you will be able to join in with our pre work swims/paddles/coffee on the beach and our Bring and Share lunches! The Role
Sitting within the Discipleship and Social Justice team, this role provides support to three diverse and exciting areas of Church of England parish ministry. You will enable these areas by supporting the parish advisers, through communicating with church volunteers, providing resources, and organising/recording project engagement and training.

However, as you will be working with three advisers and various stakeholders, you must be able to proactively manage your time and negotiate timescales. Engaging with a diverse broad range of volunteers and clergy across the Diocese, you must have a proven track record of delivering positive customer support.
There are two working pattern options available for this role: Option 1 allows you to work Monday through Thursday, and Option 2 allows you to work Monday, Tuesday, Thursday, and Friday.

- Access to wellbeing support via Employee Assistance Programme
- Enhanced family-friendly policies and a generous sick pay provision

- An attractive modern working environment
The Organisation
The Diocese is the administrative area of the Church, broadly speaking, covers the three counties of Berkshire, Buckinghamshire, and Oxfordshire. There are 815 churches in the Diocese – more than any other diocese in the Church of England. So, in many ways the best description is that it is the family of the 55,000 or so regular worshippers in these churches.
We want our commitment to equality, diversity, and inclusion for all to be reflected in the composition of our staff. We are particularly keen to receive applications from candidates from communities currently underrepresented in the diocese.
