Training and Quality Manager (Penny Brohn UK/GenesisCare)

The role

We are excited to be recruiting a Training and Quality manager, and we are seeking to appoint an experienced individual who can assist in the training of staff and quality processes, across a team embedded in the 14 different GenesisCare cancer treatment centres.

• Assist with the recruitment, induction, and management of new Wellbeing Consultants and therapists
• Manage, support and lead five established Wellbeing Consultants 
• Lead Quality for the partnership between GenesisCare and Penny Brohn UK
• Deputise for Head of Services when necessary

A flagship initiative of Iswe, the Global Citizens' Assembly for People and Planet is an innovative, inclusive platform that empowers citizens worldwide to contribute to critical global decisions on climate. By bringing together diverse voices, the Assembly serves as a model for reimagining governance, ensuring that people and planet are at the centre of decision-making.

This role will focus on amplifying the impact and visibility of the Assembly in the lead up to, and following, COP30 in Brazil in November 2025, using comms and influencer engagement to inspire global participation and collaboration.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

Influencer engagement management

• Identify and engage influencers through social listening and outreach, ensuring alignment with GCA strategic goals.

• Coordinate onboarding and activation for influencers, including developing kits with assets, hashtags, and impact data.

• Act as the primary point of contact for influencers and media outlets across GCA campaigns.

PR and Media 

• Build and maintain strong relationships with media outlets and journalists, pitching content and securing coverage for GCA initiatives.

• Manage the creation of press materials, including press releases, briefing documents, and media kits.

Content development and digital engagement

• Develop and manage engaging content for digital platforms, including blogs and social media posts to a very high standard.

• Support storytelling initiatives, collaborating with the Comms Director and Advocacy team to amplify key narratives.

Event communications support

• Coordinate communications for events, including managing network follow-ups, influencer activations and media outreach.

• Ensure alignment between event messaging and broader GCA goals.

Monitoring and Reporting

• Use social listening tools to monitor effort impact and identify optimisation.

• Prepare performance reports for campaigns and present actionable insights to be shared with funders and stakeholders.

EXPERIENCE AND QUALIFICATIONS

• 4-6 years of experience in communications, PR, influencer marketing, and media relations.

• Strong skills in identifying and activating influencers at various levels (high-profile, micro, and mid-tier).

• Proven ability to execute multi-channel campaigns and engage diverse stakeholders.

• Familiarity with social listening tools and data-driven campaign analysis.

• A self-starter with excellent organisational skills and attention to detail.

About the role

We’re looking for an experienced project manager interested in the deliberative democracy field to deliver selection and stratification services to customers, to enable the recruitment and selection of participants for deliberative democratic processes to take place at all levels of government & society. As a project manager, you will be responsible for ensuring a smooth journey for our customers and a high quality of service delivery. 

Key Responsibilities

• Liaise with clients to manage selection and stratification services for their projects, and advise them on good practice.

• Co-ordinate the design, printing and postage of invitation materials.

• Use software tools to generate addresses by lottery.

• Create web forms (using a CMS) for potential participants to register their interest.

• Create spreadsheets and back-end processes to enable selection of participants by lottery for events.

• Answer questions from people interested in taking part in processes.

• Use software to select participants by lottery.

• Coordinate with our calls teams to confirm the attendance of selected participants by phone, and replace any who drop out.

• Prepare reports for clients.

• Work closely with other members of the delivery team to support each other.

• Keep abreast of best practice in sortition and deliberative democracy in our sector.

Essential skills and experience

• An ability to self-motivate, work flexibly within small teams and on your own initiative.

In recent years the Sortition Foundation:

• Supported nearly 200 citizens’ assemblies and other sortition events in the UK, Australia, Hungary, and elsewhere, sending hundreds of thousands of assembly invitations to households, and recruiting thousands of people for deliberative processes. Some examples include Scotland’s Climate Assembly, the Budapest Climate Assembly, a citizens’ jury on assisted dying in Jersey, the UK government’s Public Advisory Group on COVID-19, and many community panels in Australia for councils in Victoria. 

• Developed a network of democracy organisations campaigning for the institutionalisation of citizens’ assemblies; we have an ongoing campaign to replace the House of Lords with a House of Citizens, have developed and tested messaging and framing guides for communicating our campaign goals, and have laid the groundwork for this transformative democratic change.

• Reviewed and refreshed our strategy and structure to get clear on what we can hope to achieve with the resources we can wield in the best possible organisational structure.

• Grew our annual turnover dramatically, from almost zero turnover six years ago, to over £624,000 in the last financial year.

• CRM management: Oversee the day-to-day management of the organisation's Salesforce CRM system, ensuring data integrity and optimisation for fundraising, communications and stakeholder engagement
• Website Management: Manage the Media Trust website (built on WordPress), ensuring it is updated, functional, accessible, optimised for performance, SEO and user experience
• Digital strategy: Contribute to the development of Media Trust's digital strategy to enhance user engagement, improve platform performance and support the organisation's overall goals
• Stakeholder coordination: Work closely with internal teams to understand their digital needs and translate them into actionable digital strategies. Communicate effectively with external partners, agencies, and stakeholders to ensure smooth project delivery
• Support management of programme data: Support data-driven programme design, delivery and measurement of impact across programmes and services through digital solutions, data collection and analysis
• Analytics and impact measurement: Configure analytics tools (e.g., GA4, Salesforce Analytics) to track the performance of digital marketing channels and provide actionable insights to the Marcomms team for campaign optimisation and stakeholder reporting

We would love to hear from you if you have the following skills and experience:

• Proven experience with CRM systems (ideally Salesforce), including customising workflows, reports and integrations
• Hands-on experience managing websites (ideally using WordPress), including familiarity with plugins, SEO best practices and web analytics
• Demonstrable experience of working with external agencies to manage website and CRM development
• Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal; able to work effectively with internal teams and external partners
• Strong project management skills; able to juggle multiple priorities and deliver projects on time and within tight budgets
• A good understanding of how digital infrastructure can support the monitoring and evaluation of programmes through data collection and analysis

Other information

This is a field based role, and as such extensive business travel will be involved, including a requirement to frequently attend the IChemE offices in Rugby. You must have a full UK driving licence and access to a suitable vehicle.

We’re looking for a Fundraising Engagement Manager with great personality and team ethic to join our Regional Fundraising team.

You will maximise income for Young Live vs Cancer by coaching our supporters to reach their goals, whilst seeking out new fundraising opportunities for your geographical area. This role sits within the ‘Regional Engagement’ team and we need someone with natural customer service skills who wants to deliver a legendary experience to all of their supporters. Your team of supporters will range from volunteers and individuals, to groups and local corporates.

The East Anglia and Bedfordshire regions are areas filled with some of our most committed supporters, but there is still so much opportunity to grow corporate support across the counties. Our Social Workers support families from Cambridge hospitals, so building relationships with these teams are a must.

Liaising with the property and facilities team in opening of new and pop-up shops, particularly around site selection and merchandising and a range of internal partners and external agencies to ensure the smooth delivery of all projects including the property team, community shop managers and shop support team.

About you

You will need to have experience of charity and high street furniture retailing utilising commercial skills to drive the business, as well as experience of being involved in shop developments or new shop openings. You will need to demonstrate skills including being analytical, be able to problem-solve and strong project management skills. Working collaboratively will need to come naturally to you and the ability to work across multiple internal and external teams to deliver projects and activity.

Importantly you will need to have a full UK driving licence and flexible working style due to the role involving significant travel across England and Scotland, you will be provided with a car and will receive full travel expenses to enable you to do this.

The Store Development Manager role will involve working with and reporting into the Head of Retail at Shelter and you will work alongside the other store development manager, as well as supporting many colleagues across the retail function.

Transforming Lives for Good (TLG) are a national Christian charity working in partnership with local churches to give struggling children a hope and a future. We are looking for a well-organised, relational leader who is passionate about the way TLG enables local churches across the UK to get alongside struggling families in their communities. The Church Relationships Lead will work as part of the national Volunteer Programmes (VP) Team, reporting to the Early Intervention Network Support Manager and collaborating with staff responsible for programme training and development.

This is an exciting time to join our growing VP team to support an increasing number of churches who have chosen to partner with TLG through running the Early Intervention (EI) programme. The successful candidate will be responsible for leading and supporting EI Coordinators to effectively run their centres, as well as training new EI coach teams.

TLG is a Christian charity and, as a team, we want to bring our faith to the work we do; as such, we are recruiting an individual with a strong and vibrant Christian faith. TLG is also committed to safeguarding children and young people and expects all staff and volunteers to share in this commitment. The successful applicant will be required to undertake an enhanced disclosure via the DBS. Hours: Part Time, 30 hours per week
