We are looking for an enthuiastic and driven Head of Fundraising and Development who has a strong track record of success in strategic development and management of six-figure funding partnerships and relationship building.

You will develop and foster relationships with the aim of obtaining financial support for the sustainable development and growth of QEST. Stewarding existing funders and developing new business, the role also presents an opportunity over the long term, once funding is secured, to lead and build a fundraising team at a transformational time in QEST’s development and strategic direction.  There is currently a Fundraising Manager.

KEY TASKS AND RESPONSIBILITIES

• Working with the CEO and Fundraising Manager to devise, develop, and deliver a fundraising strategy for QEST to achieve diversification of income (restricted and unrestricted) for the long term with a particular focus on:

o Trusts & Foundations (strong track-record)

o Corporate funders

o Statutory funders

o Sponsors/commercial partners

o Major donors and philanthropy

• Reporting to the CEO and Board of Trustees you will secure and maintain sustainable income streams, in line with agreed targets which meet our charitable objectives, focusing on six-figure+ strategic partnerships where possible
•  Developing a communications strategy for fundraising with the CEO and Communications Manager; as well as creating fundraising promotional material for print, newsletters, websites and other media as required
• Establishing transparent and open reporting protocols, working closely with the CEO and Finance Manager to meet the needs of financial reporting, forecasting, management accounts and the Annual Review
• Working closely with the CEO, Fundraising Manager and Board members, partners and supporters to develop partnerships and advocate for QES
• Working with the Project Manager to create and organise fundraising-specific activities and events
• Identifying commercial opportunities, nurturing and converting potential prospects in support of specific activities, projects and overheads
• Cultivating, building, optimising and managing relationships with existing and new funders, sponsors, partners and supporters
• Writing and compiling regular reports to funders, sponsors and partners as required
• Providing on-going reports to the CEO and Board of Trustees on fundraising income, goals, and initiatives

Age UK Wandsworth is an independent local charity. We've been working in the local community to help older people for over 60 years. We have dedicated staff and over 300 volunteers helping us to deliver services and activities for older people in Wandsworth.

A rare opportunity has arisen to join our caring and experienced day centre team as a driver and support worker. You will be driving clients to and from their homes each day in our minibus and then working with them at the centre during the day.

Job Description

Post Title: Young Women’s Worker
Location: The post will be based primarily at Kings College Hospital. However, all
Redthread team members must have a flexible approach to supporting other
sites across London when needed. There will be a need for regular visits to
Redthread’s main offices and other projects and activities that take place at
various locations across London and the UK.

Hours: 37.5 hours per week. The nature of Redthread’s work means that regular

The School Engagement Coordinator is a new role working across ImpactEd Evaluation. The role will work directly with schools to deliver national research projects, support their onboarding to our School Impact Platform, and lead communications and data collection for our partnerships. Day to day your role is likely to be a mixture of:

About the Role

The post holder will support vulnerable patients within the Adult Forensic and Acute Adult Services of Greater Manchester Mental Health NHS Foundation Trust, with scope to work with patients at various stages of their treatment and rehabilitation. Please note that this role requires physical presence at the hospital.  Appointment will be subject to risk assessment. 

The successful, dynamic candidate will have:

• Experience of providing Independent Mental Health Advocacy, or having worked in a related field, to a high standard.  Relevant skills and experience from backgrounds other than Advocacy can be built on.
• The ability to communicate effectively with a wide range of professionals and service-users.  Excellent verbal and written communication skills are essential as well as being adaptable to the needs and abilities of others.
• A working knowledge of the Mental Health Act, relating to both the civil and forensic sections of the Act and other associated legislation. As a minimum, a general understanding is required, with a willingness and an ability to expand on this once in post.

Required experience: Working within Advocacy or a Related Field for at least 1 year 
Desirable experience: Holding the National Advocacy Certificate Qualification

We are seeking a Therapeutic Practitioner to join our newly established Health Team. This specialist role will enhance our current provision and improve the quality and breadth of mental health support available to young people. The successful candidate will work within the Health Team, in collaboration with our partner organisation Camden & Islington Young People's Service, to deliver 1:1 emotional and practical support, assist in our drop-in service, and facilitate workshops for all young people experiencing homelessness.

About the role

We are now recruiting a knowledgeable and experienced Climate Resilience Programme Manager to continue leading our climate action strategy. The purpose of the role is to bring climate change expertise to grow, strengthen, deepen, and diversify our innovative programme portfolio, continue to minimise the negative environmental impacts of all of our programmes, and deepen our carbon emissions reduction strategy as we continue to expand the reach and impact of our organisation.

You will build strong partnerships by working closely alongside our local partners in programme design, technical knowledge, implementation and monitoring. It is anticipated that the post will include 3-4 overseas trips per annum.

The role affords huge scope for personal development, with the flexibility and autonomy needed to shape this critical area of programming. Your impact – For families awaiting assessment for Autism / ADHD in the area, to offer individual or virtual (via zoom or teams) telephone support to include giving information, advice and guidance, signposting, referring to other agencies as appropriate, attending relevant family support meetings.  This may also include occasional home visits.

Facilitating support groups for families awaiting assessment for ASD/ADHD in the area. Co-production of parent-led groups and parent forums, co-facilitating courses for parents/carers such as the 3 week Plan Bee course.

Working with the co-ordinator to develop relationships with schools, pre-schools, children’s health services and children’s social services and, in particular, NCHC Neurodevelopmental Teams to provide co-ordinated support to families.

Your skills - To join us as Family Support Worker you will have experience of working or volunteering with families in the community.  A relevant qualification in child and family work is desirable.  You will have excellent verbal and written communication skills and experience in using IT to deliver support, record casework, write reports and input data.

You’ll be an effective communicator who excels at building trusting and empowering relationships with individuals. Butterfly Conservation is incredibly lucky to have thousands of volunteers who play a critical role in our work, and we want to give them the support they deserve. At the same time, we need to take steps to ensure we have the right volunteer in the right place to deliver our ambitious organisational goals.

We are looking for a Volunteer Development Officer to help us improve the support we offer our existing volunteers, whilst also seeking to increase the diversity of our volunteer supporter base. You will be passionate about helping people to take action for the environment, highly organised and comfortable with both managing routine tasks as well as developing new initiatives.

You will assist in achieving Butterfly Conservation’s Volunteering strategic goals, with a specific emphasis on recruiting, training, communicating with, and celebrating volunteers from diverse backgrounds. Additionally, you will aim to inspire and empower more individuals to take action for butterflies and moths.

This is a remote working role, with occasional travel within the UK as required. You will need to be self-motivated, well organised and able to work independently, as part of a virtual team, and under pressure to meet challenging deadlines.
