Our office is a short walk from King’s Cross station in London. For this role, we need someone to come into the office at least one day a week, on a Tuesday. We encourage all colleagues to visit member hospices to help inform our work and you may be able to work from there. 

Contractually this role is London-based.

Contract: Permanent, either part time of 4 days (28 hours) per week or full time (35 hours per week) options available.

The successful candidate will have experience using email platforms e.g Mailchimp, to create and send engaging communications, track KPIs, and adjust strategies to boost customer engagement. We are also looking for someone who can help grow and manage our LinkedIn page, by creating engaging and impactful content. You will need to have good knowledge and experience with Microsoft Office and CRM systems, along with a solid understanding of virtual meeting platforms for online events (e.g. Teams, Zoom). 

The successful candidate will be supporting us with client management, so strong communication and organisational skills are important to help manage multiple corporate accounts.

The Team: 

We are a team of three that sit within the wider Income Generation and Grants directorate. The Compassionate Employers team includes the Compassionate Employers Programme Lead, Corporate Development Manager and the Compassionate Employers Executive.

The Compassionate Employers programme and this role sit within our Corporate Development Team, within Income Generation and Grants. Compassionate Employers is a key part of Hospice UK’s Income Generation strategy. 

Our Corporate Development Team works closely within and across the department. The focus in the team is on building partnerships with businesses, through commercial activity, fundraising or strategic support. Current corporate partnerships include several ‘charity of the year’ relationships, conferences and events, sponsorship, cause-related marketing partnerships, a supplier directory and a jobs board. As well as driving positive change for people affected by terminal illness and bereavement in the workplace, Compassionate Employers is an important income generation stream and ‘door-opener’ for Hospice UK.

Connected Futures is Youth Futures’ systems change programme. It aims to foster joined-up solutions to the complex issues and barriers facing disadvantaged young people.

We are looking for a capable, proactive person to support the overall programme management approach for Connected Futures. The Senior Programme Support Officer will support the Head of Programmes to develop and deliver an approach to programme and project management across Connected Futures. The postholder will take the lead on specific tasks, and coordinate the work of the wider cross-organisational Connected Futures team.

You will liaise with external partners and stakeholders, as well as supporting multiple internal customers and workstreams, often to tight deadlines. You will support key external and internal engagement processes, working with colleagues to ensure the smooth running of meetings and capture key decisions and inputs to feed back into programme delivery.

This is primarily a project management role, enabling a cross-functional team to work effectively and efficiently together on a complex, fast-moving and high profile programme. As well as dealing with tasks as they emerge, you will work across the team to keep track of progress, identifying any issues and risks, and enabling the Head of Programmes and other internal stakeholders to gain an overview of the programme as a whole.

This role is fixed term to January 2026 and can be based at any of our hubs located in London, Birmingham or Leeds.  We currently operate a hybrid model of two-days per week in the office and three-days from home.

Job purpose  

To support and deliver effective communications, including marketing and digital engagement activities, which raise awareness of Dementia Carers Count and foster connections with our community of carers, campaigners and donors. Your work will help us reach and support more carers, raise funds and campaign for changes which will ensure that no dementia carer feels isolated, invisible or alone.

Key responsibilities   

•Understand our cause, linked issues, and how these are publicly perceived 

•Horizon scan to spot social and news trends as well as potential influencer targets 

•Manage our social platforms, keeping abreast of media and public zeitgeist about our cause and related issues. You will design and deliver paid advertising campaigns and monitor, respond, share, engage, comment on posts, according to our guidelines and with responsibility for reputation management 

•Share audience insights with colleagues to ensure effective stewardship of all our defined audiences 

•Support development of media relationships. You will curate press and media lists and respond to media queries, with shared out of hours responsibility.

•Draft statements and press releases and pitch ideas for articles and features, developing copy as needed and tracking coverage 

•Support user-led story telling as part of content creation, including interviewing carers about their experiences and identifying opportunities to share carers’ voices in our materials 

•Draft website copy and develop assets for digital use and printed materials which communicate our key messages and brand and which support specific campaigns 

•Review and monitor evaluation and reporting metrics to provide regular and campaign-based management information relating to the success of digital and media activity

My Life My Choice (MLMC) is a multi-award-winning self-advocacy charity uniquely run by and for people with learning disabilities, founded in 1998.  The charity delivers a diverse range of innovative user led projects that enhance and empower the lives of adults with learning disabilities in Oxfordshire.  These established projects include a fee earning training and consultancy Professional Services team, the gig buddy and travel buddy schemes, a nightclub, campaigns and self-advocacy groups.

About the role

We are now looking for a committed individual who will enjoy a diverse and challenging role. The role holder will work across a variety of our projects. This includes working with the Travel Buddy Coordinator to ensure the delivery and growth of a high-quality programme of travel support for our membership.  Additionally, the successful individual will join the staff team in delivering self-advocacy groups, facilitate Quality Checks (peer inspections of local authority supported homes), and lead our crucial engagement with Oxfordshire County Council (OCC).  The work with OCC involves supporting and coordinating our members with a learning disability to effectively contribute and have their voices heard at high level meetings.

We now have an exciting opportunity for an Employment Advisor to join the STEP team, working at the Refugee Council in Sheffield. You will provide employment support to refugee clients and help them to achieve their employability goals. You will deliver one on one support across a variety of employability activities including preparing CVs, writing cover letters, searching for jobs, applying for jobs, finding volunteering, work experience and training opportunities and preparing for interviews.

You will work to a variety of performance targets based on the progression outcomes of clients such as voluntary and work placements and achieving and sustaining paid employment.

About you

We are looking for candidates who have:

• Proven experience or knowledge within the refugee employment sector
• Understanding of the issues and challenges faced by unemployed people to finding work, including those who first language is not English
• Experience of providing advice and guidance and supervising a caseload of clients
• Excellent communication skills
• Good IT skills (Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook)
• Cross-cultural sensitivity and the ability to work with clients with varying levels of English
• Competency in a second language desirable e.g. Arabic, Amharic, Dari, Farsi, Pashto, Tigrinya, Ukrainian

About the Role

The Programmes Coordinator will promote and deliver successful activities based around Depaul’s national Programmes strategy in the North East region. The focus of this role is to organize and deliver progression opportunities for people, supporting them to realise their ambitions in education training, volunteering or employment.

This will be achieved with the support of volunteers recruited from both the local community and Depaul’s young people (clients), working flexibly across the North East team. The coordinator will be brokering and supporting internal (Depaul based) activities and external (community-based) progression opportunities for young people at risk of or experiencing homelessness across the North East team.

The role will also ensure young people’s voices are heard at every level. Your work will be underpinned by the Depaul Endeavour model of assets-based, psychologically informed delivery, the aim of which is to ensure that every client leaves a Depaul service with the skills and resilience to be confident and self-determining in their lives.

Key responsibilities include:

· Organise, promote and deliver sessions and programmes to support people in education, training, volunteering or employment outcomes.

· Promote and deliver the AQA Unit Award Scheme to people to support their progression.

· Promote and support the awarding of Depaul’s internal grants to people to enable their progression.

· Develop and deliver partnerships with organisations who can support Depaul clients in their progression into ETE and volunteering.

· Design, deliver and ensure a range of training opportunities are delivered.

· Build and maintain strong partnerships/engagement with Depaul projects/staff across the region.

Here for You is Breast Cancer Now’s personalised referral route to all of our services. 
There are 2 roles, both of which are responsible for making initial and follow up calls to primary and secondary breast cancer patients. 
We’re expanding our team due to demand and to continue to  ensure patients get calls within service level agreements. And to provide timely and trusted information and support to people diagnosed with breast cancer. This involves responding to safeguarding issues, collecting data, and deliver excellent information on the phone. 
The role also involves collaborating with colleagues focusing on the Here for You expansion and integration, as well as working with colleagues across the primary services, secondary services and personalised support services. The role also liaises with our Helpline team.

About the Role

You will be working in one of three dispersed properties within a multi-agency team of other charities in the same accommodation which will be based in Havering. It is a therapeutic service to provide young people with an opportunity to a fresh start. The service will work creatively and holistically to enable young people to move forward from lifestyles which were impacted by gangs and exploitation and help them reach their full potential by identifying and reaching their aspirations, assisting them to move on successfully to appropriate independent living.

The Senior Progression Coach is responsible for contributing to the effective and safe delivery of the service on a day-to-day basis.
