ATLEU’s work and our role as an expert voice in the sector is survivor informed, change focussed and ambitious and this role will make a significant contribution to developing our communications and influencing strategies. 

Lettings Officer – Permanent contract

14 hours per week (job share) Working Thursday & Friday.

As a Lettings Officer you will be part of the Tenant Services Team, providing a highly professional customer focused lettings service to applicants for Hightown’s rented housing. Liaising with Local Authority Partners and Hightown’s Housing Officers, the Lettings Officer will work to ensure that Hightown’s rented homes are let swiftly and appropriately.

Responsibilities include:

• Co-ordinating activity to turn around empty properties within target times
• Advertising properties and preparing for tenancies to start
• Ensuring that sufficient and accurate information about properties are available to applicants, including the correct rent information
• Processing tenancy terminations, liaising with other Hightown departments regarding the timing of new builds and relets
• Processing nominations and applications and conducting viewings
• To keep abreast of current legislation regulatory requirements and best practice

About you

You need for this role:

• Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
• Ability to take ownership and deliver excellent customer service in a professional and confident manner
• Experience of property lettings either in the public or private sectors
• Full UK driving licence and access to a car for business use

For more than 25 years we have built a global network of partners that promote the public’s right to have a say in public finance. More recently we have scaled up our impacts to help communities drive change in how governments both raise and spend public resources and to inform decisions to ensure those resource translate into quality services—from healthcare to clean water.

Purpose of Role

IBP seeks a Director of Fundraising to drive our organization's resource development and financial sustainability. Working at the highest levels of the organization, this leader will develop and implement comprehensive fundraising strategies to secure multi-year, multi-million-dollar commitments from major international donors. The ideal candidate brings demonstrated success in diversifying revenue streams and building strategic partnerships, along with the ability to both envision ambitious fundraising goals and execute detailed plans to achieve them.

As a key member of the senior team, the Director will provide strategic leadership while managing hands-on fundraising activities, mentor a dedicated fundraising team, and coordinate closely with the Executive Director, Executive Team, Country Directors, Initiative Managers and Advisory Council. They will strengthen IBP's internal fundraising capacity while cultivating external relationships that advance our mission.

Success in this role requires exceptional relationship-building abilities, strategic thinking, and a proven track record of securing large-scale funding from a diverse range of channels including institutions, foundations and High Net Worth Individuals. This is an opportunity to shape the financial future of a global organization working to advance budget transparency, participation, and accountability in public finance and governance.

Primary Responsibilities

Fundraising Strategy Development and Execution (50%)

• Setting Fundraising Strategy and Vision: Develop and implement a data-driven fundraising strategy aligned with the organization’s broader strategic goals. Set ambitious yet achievable financial targets and ensure alignment across teams.
• Prospecting: Design and execute tailored strategies for identifying, soliciting, and stewarding institutional and individual funders.
• Proposal Development: Lead the creation of compelling funding proposals, pitches, appeals, and other materials to secure funding in collaboration with initiative managers.
• Building and Maintaining Networks: Cultivate relationships with key stakeholders, including high-net-worth individuals, bilateral governments, foundations, and philanthropic groups.
• Innovative Fundraising Strategies: Explore and implement new approaches, such as joint fundraising with partners and sector-based strategies, while enhancing fundraising capacity at country, global, and initiative levels.
• Donor Stewardship: Build long-term relationships with donors through personalized engagement strategies, aligning their interests with the organization's goals.

Donor and Stakeholder Engagement (25%)

• Donor Lifecycle Management: Oversee the full donor lifecycle, from acquisition and engagement to cultivation, solicitation, and stewardship.
• Board Engagement: Serve as the primary liaison for fundraising with the board of directors and Advisory Council
• Crisis and Risk Management: Develop and implement risk mitigation strategies for fundraising, including planning for economic downturns, donor withdrawals, or reputational risks.
• Engagement Strategies: Collaborate with program teams to design personalized donor engagement strategies, such as tailored reports, briefings, and impact updates identifying clear roles for staff across the organization that is involved directly and indirectly in fundraising efforts.

Direct and Indirect Team Management (25%)

• Resource Allocation and Budgeting: Oversee the fundraising budget, ensuring resources are allocated to high-impact activities based on data-driven decision-making. Collaborate with the Director of Finance and Operations to ensure proper handling of donations, reporting and forecasting.
• Team Building and Development: Recruit, train, and retain a high-performing fundraising team, setting clear roles, responsibilities, and success metrics. Work with the fundraising working group and staff across the organization to strengthen fundraising activities.
• Performance Management and Reporting: Track and report fundraising performance metrics to executive leadership and the board, using analytics to optimize outcomes.
• Developing Internal Talent: Mentor fundraising and program staff in relationship management, donor communications, and strategic planning, while fostering leadership development.
• Building Cross-Functional Capacity/Culture of Philanthropy: Equip senior leaders and program teams with the knowledge and tools to contribute to fundraising efforts, including impact reporting and donor engagement training.

• Proven track record of securing significant gifts and growing fundraising revenue.
• Experience leading and managing fundraising teams, with strong mentoring and coaching skills.
• Background in engaging with Global South philanthropic organizations, particularly feminist funds or other mission-driven entities.
• Demonstrable success in managing donor relationships from acquisition to stewardship and retention.

The Associate Director for Safeguarding is an integral role in which you will work collaboratively with the Executive Director for People and Culture and other colleagues across the College to develop our organisational safeguarding strategy and action plan, to promote a culture in which the safeguarding of children, young people and adults at risk is at the core of our delivery of services in both our domestic and global programmes.

As Associate Director for Safeguarding, you will play an active role to ensure that our safeguarding processes, reporting mechanisms, points of escalation and learning programme for College staff are of the highest quality.

Reporting to the Executive Director for People and Culture, you will work key individuals to design and deliver a programme of continuing professional development around safeguarding processes and delivery. You will provide support and appropriate challenge where required at all levels of the College, ensuring robust reporting procedures are in place for managing safeguarding concerns for both direct and indirect delivered activities.

You will also work with external agencies, support organisations and referral pathways to establish effective working relationships, ensuring external knowledge provides continual challenge to the internal delivery of safeguarding and takes into account wider best practice.

With a good standard of education, perhaps with a social work or related qualification, you should have significant current experience of delivering safeguarding services in a range of settings and across diverse communities. You should also have experience of implementing change within safeguarding settings. You will be values driven, a good team player, with effective influencing and persuading skills, demonstrating an empathic approach regarding the work and workload of others and have the ability to empower colleagues to be effective within all aspects of safeguarding practice.

You should also have an understanding of safeguarding in an in-person, digital and or online delivery environment and be flexible and open to alternative approaches to problem solving, providing suggestions and ideas for change and improvement.

Proven experience of researching and producing high quality written reports, briefings, presentations and information along with the ability to set out and discuss complex issues clearly for a range of audiences, is essential.

Waverley Care is Scotland’s leading HIV and Hepatitis C charity, and we are looking for a Policy & Communications Officer for an initial six-month contract.  This is an exciting opportunity to be at the forefront of policy development and advocacy, ensuring Scotland remains on track to achieve zero new HIV transmission by 2030.

As the Policy & Communications Officer, you’ll be instrumental in shaping and delivering policy initiatives that support the Scottish Government’s commitments to ending HIV stigma and improving the lives of those living with HIV.

You will work proactively across the charity to ensure consistent policy messages and to inform influencing activities by producing briefings, consultation responses, and other communications content.

You will:

· Build and maintain strong relationships with MSPs, civil servants, and key stakeholders to drive Scotland’s progress toward eliminating Hepatitis C and achieving zero new HIV transmission by 2030.

· Produce high-quality internal and external briefings, consultation responses, press releases, media statements, social media posts and online content that align with Waverley Care’s policy positions.

· Represent Waverley Care at events, meetings, and networks, actively advancing the organisation’s policy objectives and supporting the Fast-Track Cities Scotland initiative.

About the role

We’re looking for a Governance Officer with strong experience in corporate governance and administrative processes to join our Corporate Assurance team.

In this role, you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth and effective operation of Young Lives vs Cancer’s governance processes. This includes coordinating Board and committee meetings, preparing agendas and documentation, minuting meetings, and ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements. You will also act as the main point of contact for Trustees and committee members, managing their records, overseeing recruitment and inductions, and maintaining governance policies and procedures.

This role does not have direct reports but requires excellent relationship-building skills, attention to detail, and the ability to manage multiple priorities. You will work closely with the Associate Director of Corporate Governance and Assurance, Trustees, and senior leadership to enhance governance efficiency.

Role Summary 
The main function of the Careers Coordinator role is to develop, support and deliver Into Film’s Screen Careers Programme. The post holder will work closely with the Careers Lead, Industry Partnerships Lead and other members of Into Film staff who conceive, create and deliver our Screen Careers Programme. 

Alongside internal teams including Marcomms, the Careers Coordinator will develop content that supports careers professionals, teachers, young people and their parents, ensuring they can access what they need to become aware of the breadth of screen careers and how children and young people might go about entering these industries. 

The Careers Coordinator will manage various deliverables across the programme including but not limited to work experience pilots directly with young people, development of resources and training for careers professionals, and speaking slots at careers conferences UK-wide. The role will have a focus on reaching those young people who are underserved and under-represented. 

Main Responsibilities:

• As directed by the Careers Lead, support the implementation of the Screen Careers Programme Plan through colleagues, partners and supporters.
• Project manage the work experience deliverable alongside the local Activation Coordinators.
• Assist the Careers Lead and UK-wide activation team to plan and deliver Screen Careers events.
• Support the Learning Content Creation team with the development of Screen Careers resources, training and courses.
• Support the Careers Lead and Industry Partnerships Lead to manage stakeholders and industry partner relationships utilising our Customer Relationship Management tool, Salesforce.
• Generate ideas and organise existing content for the Get Into Film social media channels and young people hub on the Into Film website.
• Monitor content about careers on our resources, training programme and website to ensure that it's up to date and remains relevant.
• Monitor and evaluate the programme utilising internal and external feedback to help shape future Screen Careers annual programme plans.
• Contribute to quarterly reports to funders and the Into Film board.

In this role, you will provide scientific support across science engagement project development, delivery and wider RMetS team operations. About you

You’ll also be able to demonstrate independently managing and prioritising complex projects, showing an ability to navigate multiple tasks.

A PhD in a relevant scientific field is desirable, as well as experience working with and supporting high-level scientific committees. Familiarity with operating databases and engaging in patient and public involvement in research would also be a plus.
