Lettings Officer – Permanent contract
14 hours per week (job share) Working Thursday & Friday.
As a Lettings Officer you will be part of the Tenant Services Team, providing a highly professional customer focused lettings service to applicants for Hightown’s rented housing. Liaising with Local Authority Partners and Hightown’s Housing Officers, the Lettings Officer will work to ensure that Hightown’s rented homes are let swiftly and appropriately.
Responsibilities include:
- Co-ordinating activity to turn around empty properties within target times
- Advertising properties and preparing for tenancies to start
- Ensuring that sufficient and accurate information about properties are available to applicants, including the correct rent information
- Processing tenancy terminations, liaising with other Hightown departments regarding the timing of new builds and relets
- Processing nominations and applications and conducting viewings
- To keep abreast of current legislation regulatory requirements and best practice
About you
You need for this role:
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
- Ability to take ownership and deliver excellent customer service in a professional and confident manner
- Experience of property lettings either in the public or private sectors
- Full UK driving licence and access to a car for business use

Responsibilities
- Strategic Leadership: Focus on scaling and strengthening The Resilience Project, particularly developing alternative revenue generating pathways, key partnerships and long-term sustainable funding mechanisms. From this, develop and implement a long-term strategy that aligns with the organisation’s mission, vision, and values. Lead the organisation in responding to emerging challenges and opportunities in climate justice, youth mental health, and resilience-building. Embody and model our values of courage, care, co-design, community, joy and inclusivity.
- Organisational Development: Build and nurture a high-performing team of international staff and volunteers. Foster a collaborative, inclusive, and empowering organisational culture. Work closely with the Senior Board to ensure effective governance and accountability.
- Financial Management: Working with the Finance and Fundraising Lead, develop and oversee budgets, ensuring financial sustainability and smooth cashflow. Diversify income streams through grants, partnerships, donations, and other revenue opportunities. Lead in the development and creation of additional revenue opportunities.
- Programme Oversight: Working with the Programmes Office, ensure the continued delivery and development of impactful initiatives such as the Resilience Fellowship Programme, community Programmes and workshops. Monitor and evaluate programme impact to ensure quality, effectiveness and relevance to the youth climate justice movement. Oversee our international expansion, leading on risk assessment and ensuring any development promotes sensitivity, inclusion, co-design and resilience.
- Partnerships and Advocacy: Build and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders, including funders, partners, and youth organisations. Act as an ambassador for The Resilience Project, advocating for youth empowerment and climate resilience on national and international platforms.
- Communications and Fundraising: Oversee the organisation’s communications and marketing strategy to enhance visibility and engagement. Lead fundraising efforts to secure the resources necessary to achieve the organisation’s goals.
- Line Management: Act as line manager to Finance and Fundraising Lead, and Marketing and Communications Lead, overseeing workflow and monthly wellbeing check-ins.

An exciting opportunity has arisen for an experienced Senior Peer Research Project Coordinator to join our mental health charity, to work with teams of researchers in London and Tokyo (Japan) on a multi-methods study to achieve a step change in our understanding of the mechanisms underpinning experiences of anxiety in girls/young women aged 10-24.
In this post you will work both at Kings College London embedded in a research team including youth advisors, young people co-researchers and co-production leads and within McPin leading qualitative research in London schools. The post specifically requires the post-holder to work from a lived experience perspective – identifying with experience of anxiety in girls. The post-holder would also benefit from familiarity with Japanese language and culture.
This post would ideally suit someone with well-developed qualitative research skills who is keen to develop further and willing to lead on project tasks as well as working with others. The post holder will be involved from the beginning of this study developing research ethics materials, planning engagement with schools, piloting interview and focus group schedules and developing survey tools. They will work closely with a research manager at McPin and a small team of young people co-researchers who will need to be recruited and supported to deliver a qualitative study over the first 2 years of this 5 year programme. The Associate Director for Safeguarding is an integral role in which you will work collaboratively with the Executive Director for People and Culture and other colleagues across the College to develop our organisational safeguarding strategy and action plan, to promote a culture in which the safeguarding of children, young people and adults at risk is at the core of our delivery of services in both our domestic and global programmes.
As Associate Director for Safeguarding, you will play an active role to ensure that our safeguarding processes, reporting mechanisms, points of escalation and learning programme for College staff are of the highest quality.
Reporting to the Executive Director for People and Culture, you will work key individuals to design and deliver a programme of continuing professional development around safeguarding processes and delivery. You will provide support and appropriate challenge where required at all levels of the College, ensuring robust reporting procedures are in place for managing safeguarding concerns for both direct and indirect delivered activities.
You will also work with external agencies, support organisations and referral pathways to establish effective working relationships, ensuring external knowledge provides continual challenge to the internal delivery of safeguarding and takes into account wider best practice.
With a good standard of education, perhaps with a social work or related qualification, you should have significant current experience of delivering safeguarding services in a range of settings and across diverse communities. You should also have experience of implementing change within safeguarding settings. You will be values driven, a good team player, with effective influencing and persuading skills, demonstrating an empathic approach regarding the work and workload of others and have the ability to empower colleagues to be effective within all aspects of safeguarding practice.
You should also have an understanding of safeguarding in an in-person, digital and or online delivery environment and be flexible and open to alternative approaches to problem solving, providing suggestions and ideas for change and improvement.
Proven experience of researching and producing high quality written reports, briefings, presentations and information along with the ability to set out and discuss complex issues clearly for a range of audiences, is essential.
This role will require a DBS check and is not exempt under the Rehabilitation of Offenders Act 1974.

Waverley Care is Scotland’s leading HIV and Hepatitis C charity, and we are looking for a Policy & Communications Officer for an initial six-month contract. This is an exciting opportunity to be at the forefront of policy development and advocacy, ensuring Scotland remains on track to achieve zero new HIV transmission by 2030.
As the Policy & Communications Officer, you’ll be instrumental in shaping and delivering policy initiatives that support the Scottish Government’s commitments to ending HIV stigma and improving the lives of those living with HIV.
You will work proactively across the charity to ensure consistent policy messages and to inform influencing activities by producing briefings, consultation responses, and other communications content.
You will:
· Build and maintain strong relationships with MSPs, civil servants, and key stakeholders to drive Scotland’s progress toward eliminating Hepatitis C and achieving zero new HIV transmission by 2030.
· Produce high-quality internal and external briefings, consultation responses, press releases, media statements, social media posts and online content that align with Waverley Care’s policy positions.
· Represent Waverley Care at events, meetings, and networks, actively advancing the organisation’s policy objectives and supporting the Fast-Track Cities Scotland initiative.
· Plan and coordinate National Consortium meetings, including setting agendas, securing speakers, and taking minutes.
· Maintain and update databases of contacts and activities, ensuring accurate tracking and reporting of policy and public affairs work, including compliance with Scotland’s Lobbying Register.
· Support and engage Waverley Care’s Community Panel, ensuring communications are inclusive and reflective of lived experiences and elevate the voices of those affected by blood-borne viruses.

About the role
We’re looking for a Governance Officer with strong experience in corporate governance and administrative processes to join our Corporate Assurance team.
In this role, you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth and effective operation of Young Lives vs Cancer’s governance processes. This includes coordinating Board and committee meetings, preparing agendas and documentation, minuting meetings, and ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements. You will also act as the main point of contact for Trustees and committee members, managing their records, overseeing recruitment and inductions, and maintaining governance policies and procedures.
This role does not have direct reports but requires excellent relationship-building skills, attention to detail, and the ability to manage multiple priorities. You will work closely with the Associate Director of Corporate Governance and Assurance, Trustees, and senior leadership to enhance governance efficiency.

Role Summary
The main function of the Careers Coordinator role is to develop, support and deliver Into Film’s Screen Careers Programme. The post holder will work closely with the Careers Lead, Industry Partnerships Lead and other members of Into Film staff who conceive, create and deliver our Screen Careers Programme.
Alongside internal teams including Marcomms, the Careers Coordinator will develop content that supports careers professionals, teachers, young people and their parents, ensuring they can access what they need to become aware of the breadth of screen careers and how children and young people might go about entering these industries.
The Careers Coordinator will manage various deliverables across the programme including but not limited to work experience pilots directly with young people, development of resources and training for careers professionals, and speaking slots at careers conferences UK-wide. The role will have a focus on reaching those young people who are underserved and under-represented.
Main Responsibilities:
- As directed by the Careers Lead, support the implementation of the Screen Careers Programme Plan through colleagues, partners and supporters.
- Project manage the work experience deliverable alongside the local Activation Coordinators.
- Assist the Careers Lead and UK-wide activation team to plan and deliver Screen Careers events.
- Support the Learning Content Creation team with the development of Screen Careers resources, training and courses.
- Support the Careers Lead and Industry Partnerships Lead to manage stakeholders and industry partner relationships utilising our Customer Relationship Management tool, Salesforce.
- Generate ideas and organise existing content for the Get Into Film social media channels and young people hub on the Into Film website.
- Monitor content about careers on our resources, training programme and website to ensure that it's up to date and remains relevant.
- Monitor and evaluate the programme utilising internal and external feedback to help shape future Screen Careers annual programme plans.
- Contribute to quarterly reports to funders and the Into Film board.
