Winchester City Penguins Swimming Club (WCPSC) based in Hampshire is looking for a CEO who will report to the Board of Trustees. We are looking for an inspirational leader to support the Charity's strategic direction and for the day-to-day management of the Charity, including operations, line management and membership relations
WCPSC is a registered charity which exists to create opportunities through swimming. We have been teaching Winchester to swim since 1901 and have been at the heart of creating swimming opportunities ever since. Over recent years WCPSC has seen significant growth in its lesson’s programmes and the number of swimmers competing at county, regional and national levels.
Almost uniquely among swimming clubs, we run a community outreach programme which aims to ensure inclusive access to swimming for all. We believe swimming is a fundamental life skill, which increases individuals’ safety near water as well as developing confidence, dedication, and responsibility. Through our community programme we run a series of local projects to increase accessibility to swimming regardless of ability or background, with our aim to ensure that all children leaving primary school can swim 25 metres.
Affiliated to Swim England, and as a Swim Essentials accredited club we are recognised as having high standards of governance and operation. We are governed by a board of elected Trustees with day to day running driven by a dedicated management team and supported by a huge number of volunteers who ensure we can offer a broad range of provision. WCPSC operates from four pools situated in and around Winchester at Bar End our new 50m pool, King’s School, St John Moore Barracks (ATR) and Oaklands Community Pool.
About the role
The CEO is a pivotal role at Winchester City Penguins Swimming Club. We are looking for an inspirational leader who together with the Board of Trustees, will set the strategic direction of the charity.
As CEO, you’ll have responsibility for the day-to-day management of the charity, working with the staff and volunteer team to manage the clubs lesson programmes, community, and competitive swimming squads.

Your new role
We’re looking for a brilliant Fundraising Manager to devise and deliver strategies to raise money, including Global’s annual Make Some Noise Appeal. As a Fundraising Manager at Global, you will:
- Lead fundraising projects across Global’s and Make Some Noise’s platforms, creating compelling, income-generating content.

About the Role
Reporting directly to the Deputy Director of Finance & Procurement, the Financial Accounting Manager's key responsibilities will:
- To assist the Deputy Director of Finance and Procurement with the preparation of the School and subsidiary annual financial statements, including compliance with FE/HE SORP and Office for Students' accounts direction.
- To prepare the School's quarterly VAT and annual corporation tax returns
- To monitor the School's cash position and prepare regular cash flow statements
- To liaise, as appropriate, with the School's external auditors, tax advisors and HMRC representatives
- To contribute to the operation and development of the School's financial IT system (Agresso) and other finance systems, in particular assisting with the development of financial reports.
- To ensure the integrity and completeness of the financial ledgers for monthly, quarterly and year end accounts
- To co-ordinate the financial administration of all capital projects and monitor and report on expenditure against budget
- To assist the Deputy Director of Finance and Procurement with the appraisal of capital projects, investments and other projects.

The Membership Engagement Manager is a crucial role for the College as you will champion the value of RCPCH membership, enhancing the member value proposition and take the lead on improving the College's engagement with its members.
As Membership Engagement Manager, you will collaborate with teams and members throughout the College to deliver the operational plan, analysing member data, survey outputs and the external environment to identify trends and gain insights and intelligence which inform the value proposition.

Together Women Leeds provides holistic wraparound support to women and girls and specialises in supporting women involved with the CJS, through 1:1 Keywork, group programmes and access to specialist gender-specific support via TW Women’s Centres.
We are seeking an individual with a proactive, compassionate, collaborative approach. We are looking for someone who is adaptable and highly organised, brings strong reporting skills, and is a great relationship builder. Experience of working in the women’s sector or the criminal justice system is desirable, but not essential – most importantly we’re looking for an outstanding manager.
At Together Women, staff wellbeing is a priority. With the support of a Deputy Manager, you will ensure our talented staff team are effectively managed, supported and encouraged to develop within their roles, enabling them to provide high quality, trauma-responsive support.
You will be responsible for the management of a range of services, ensuring high quality standards are consistently met and partnerships are established and maintained. You will lead the strategic development and operational effectiveness of numerous services, including the West Yorkshire women’s contract supporting other districts. The Leeds centre is funded via a range of commissioners both statutory and non-statutory, and you will lead on the contract and performance management including relationships with commissioners. Alongside the Director of Services and wider management team you will also contribute to the effective leadership of the organisation, ensuring our operational and strategic objectives are met.
Key Accountabilities:
Service Delivery and Management
- Lead the operational management of TW services in Leeds ensuring intensive high-quality, trauma responsive support is provided to women and girls accessing the services
- Develop and manage a service plan for Leeds that incorporates key milestones and ensures delivery of project outputs and outcomes
- Monitor delegated budget responsibility, ensuring that the services operate within the agreed budget
Staff Management
- Line manage direct reports and ensure that all staff receive regular support, supervision and performance review, case management, training and development in line with TW policies and procedures
- Deliver team meetings, reflective practice, and staff learning and development opportunities
- Effectively manage a dispersed team ensuring team cohesion and consistency in approach and practice.
Communication/Contracts and Partnerships
- Take overall responsibility for establishing and maintaining effective partnerships and referral pathways
- Lead on the contract and performance management including all relationships with commissioners
- Organise and attend external meetings/events as appropriate, actively participating and disseminating information to colleagues. This includes sitting on steering groups and attending multi-agency panels to discuss the needs and challenges facing TW customer group, develop robust sector-wide responses, inform, and improve internal services to ensure they are fit for purpose.
- Design and deliver training for professionals in the region to improve responses to women and girls affected by the social justice system
Monitoring and Evaluation
- Ensure that all project staff maintain accurate, confidential customer records, following TW policies and procedures, and contribute to the maintenance of the projects’ monitoring and recording systems
- Produce monitoring and evaluation reports in line with funder and other key stakeholder requirements
Funding
- Identify relevant fundraising opportunities and support TW senior management team to prepare funding applications, identify commissioning opportunities, which support the long-term sustainability of existing and new services
- Attend meetings with potential new funders to secure new funding streams, ensuring that the project outcomes are achievable and measurable
- Work with colleagues within TW and/or external partners to establish new services/projects when funding applications are successful

At present they are looking to recruit an interim Finance Systems Project Manager to lead on the implementation of their new Netsuite accounting system and support them with their ever-growing aspirations for a more enabling finance service.
- Support the external implementation project team on the delivery of the new Netsuite system
- Lead on the design and delivery of the documenting of the system configuration and set up; documenting new processes and workflows; preparation of data migration files

Key responsibilities

The Executive Assistant will have relevant executive assistant experience, in particular understanding the needs of senior management within a charity. The successful candidate
have strong project management, organisational and administrative skills. You will have a proven track record of working with complex diary, email management, travel planning and logistics management. You will proactively be able to take on work such as drafting presentations or papers, under guidance of manager.
You will be an excellent communicator, both verbally and in writing, with good interpersonal skills, and have strong analytical, attention to detail and minute-taking experience. You will have a high level of integrity and discretion in handling confidential information and be professional at all times working alongside results-orientated internal and external stakeholders. You will be confident completing complex tasks and projects quickly with autonomy and be comfortable efficiently and proactively solving complex and unique problems within the department and other related groups.
The role is hybrid with 2 days a week based in the office in central London. Due to the nature of the role, you may need to work unsociable hours, including evenings as required, however a high value is placed on good work-life balance, so the organisation offer a comprehensive flexitime scheme. The Role
As a Face-to-Face Fundraising Area Manager, you will lead the fundraising team in the Glasgow area, while also driving growth of teams across the central belt and wider Scotland as and when required. Key Responsibilities include:
• Leadership & Coaching: You'll be at the heart of recruitment, training, and developing Fundraisers, helping them meet and exceed their targets. You'll also fundraise alongside them, setting the example of a passionate and results-driven team leader.

As part of a small team you’ll play a key role running the office day to day to support all aspects of Bridewell Gardens’ operations. You’ll work with volunteers to give administrative support to the team, speak with people who are referred to the service and with professionals who make referrals.
You’ll work closely with the Recovery Service Manager and Director to consider future developments of the service and to ensure best practice in service delivery.
Key responsibilities
- Develop and implement systems so that administrative activities are efficient and effective
- Keep project monitoring and evaluation data up to date
- Speak with referrers and people accessing the service to support new referrals and to answer enquiries
- Support the day to day management of the team’s calendar to allow for smooth running of the service
- Work with freelance suppliers to maintain accounts, to process payments, supplier invoices, expenses and record income
- Oversee day to day office administration procurement, servicing of equipment, ordering supplies, booking training
- Keep policies and procedures up to date with input from the team
- Support Director and Recovery Service Manager in identifying and developing new services and partnerships for service delivery

On an average day you will:
- Respond to referral enquiries, book in appointments, share new referral details with the team, update monitoring and evaluation reports
