Through providing the highest quality of professionalism and service delivery, they will be key contributors to achieving IChemE’s strategic goal of supporting a vibrant and thriving profession.

Located at IChemE’s Head Office in Rugby, these roles will work seamlessly with other teams across the institution, with our member groups and committees, and with other external stakeholders to achieve exceptional service delivery and standards.

This new role will be a core part of the Royal Court team, with a focus on high-quality co-ordination and administration to underpin how we manage and support all our staff, ensure smooth board and governance operations, and establish a positive and effective workplace. The job focuses particularly on managing key HR procedures, systems and records (including recruitment); supporting trustee activity including statutory board meetings and paperwork; and ensuring effective internal communications and administration across all our teams. 

The role will manage a high volume of correspondence, documentation and processes including confidential and sensitive information, meaning strong organisational skills, attention to detail and discretion are all vital. While much of the focus of the role is administrative and procedural, this will also be an unrivalled opportunity for someone early in their career to learn about the internal workings and management of a leading cultural charity, and to be part of shaping our next steps.

In this varied role, you will be responsible for:

Service Provision: Supporting the Supported Housing Manager with the daily operations of the services so that they meet the requirements of the service specification. Oversee the residents’ referral, interview and induction processes for all beds and ensure the Occupancy Agreements and House Rules are fully understood. Ensure the quality of accommodation that is provided, liaising with the Housing and Property Services Team to complete estate inspections and health & safety risk assessments, and to turn around voids and organise repairs in line with organisational targets and statutory obligations. With the Supported Housing Manager ensure effective income collection for all beds, working closely with the Rents Team to create a rent payment culture.

Leadership and People Management: Directly line manage team members, ensuring their service delivery, working culture and personal development mirror best practice. Ensuring the team is adequately trained and empowered to work effectively and creatively with our young people to enable them to achieve their aspirations and ambitions, whilst ensuring they are supported within safe and consistent boundaries.

General: Be a member of the ‘on call’ rota to provide out of hours management support to projects in the wider locality. Reflect Psychologically Informed Environments (PIEs), Trauma Informed approaches and restorative practices.

 About The Hygiene Bank 

Hygiene poverty is not being able to afford many of the everyday hygiene and personal grooming products most of us take for granted. The reality of low income is that it restricts people’s options, leaving us caught between being able to heat our homes, pay the rent, eat, or be clean.  It is washing hair, bodies, faces and clothes in the same cheap washing up liquid used for the dishes. It is not being able to replace a toothbrush when needed or sharing a toothbrush because one each just isn't an option. It is having to choose between shaving foam and razors or the transport fare to a job interview.

Hygiene Poverty is the hidden crisis facing the UK. In May 2024, The Hygiene Bank published their second groundbreaking research into the incidence and impact of hygiene poverty. It found that over 4.2 million adults across the country are currently experiencing hygiene poverty and that it is both alarmingly widespread, increasing and disproportionately impacts the most vulnerable. It stops people from participating in society, feeds the mental health crisis and blocks routes out of poverty. It is simply unjust.

About the Role

 As one of our team of four Partnership Managers, you will have the exciting opportunity to make a huge difference in improving the lives of people living in hygiene poverty. Reporting into the Head Operations, the Partnership Managers plays a pivotal role in the charity and are responsible for overseeing and co-piloting our volunteer lead community projects.

The role is varied and requires strong time management, organisational skills, excellent written and verbal communication skills, meticulous record keeping and strong volunteer management.

Key Responsibilities

• Support the Senior Volunteer Experience Manager to actively recruit volunteers in key areas, in line with our strategic objectives.
• Onboard new projects by supporting the volunteer project coordinator with all aspects of setting up a community project.
• Foster positive relationships with the project teams to ensure engagement and inclusion and to be the first point of contact for them.
• Co-design and implement project plans for the newly formed projects identifying areas of support needed to sustainably grow the project.
• Work with the projects to identify suitable Community Partners in line with our strategy and eligibility criteria.
• Support the project with any funding applications and ensure impact data is captured.
• Ensure all projects are compliant and operating within out charitable objects, therefore reducing the overall risk the charity.
• Work with the Operations team to ensure all supporting volunteer guidance documentation is accurate, relevant and up to date and to ensure the volunteer newsletter, website and members area contains all required and up to date volunteer supporting information.
• Monitor and analyse KPIs and provide regular reporting to both the team and board.
• Attend and participate in volunteer events and town halls as required.
• Regularly visit projects to offer support and to continue to enhance relationships

Job Purpose
The Partnerships Coordinator post is an exciting role with Tutor Trust. You will assist the Strategic Partnerships Manager to maintain and build key school relationships and networks contributing to customer retention and business growth.
The Partnerships Coordinator will also work very closely with the Partnership Operations team and the Communications & Marketing team to contribute positively to the overall success and innovation of the organisation.
Main Functions

• Assist with setting up key school partnerships across West Yorkshire, Merseyside and Greater Manchester.
• Assist with completing partnership agreements.
• Conduct regional research to better understand region-wide school needs.
• Create reports or presentations for meetings with school partners.

Working Well Trust is a mental health and employment charity in London.  All of our projects share the aim of improving the lives of people with mental health support needs, learning disabilities and/or complex issues through training and employment. We are expanding our services and are recruiting for Individual Placement and Support (IPS) Employment Support Workers across the London Boroughs of Tower Hamlets, Newham and Barking & Dagenham.

Experience of employment support is not essential, it is more important that you share our passion and commitment to employment as an integral aspect of wellbeing and supporting people to find the right job for them. You will receive training on the IPS model and in supporting people with mental health issues. You need to have a desire to support people to achieve their employment goals, and the ability to multitask and manage your workload effectively. Good organisation skills are essential for this role, in addition to an interest in mental health, and the role it plays in the workplace. We are a Centre of Excellence and adhere closely to the principles of the IPS model in supporting people in to employment. No prior experience in IPS is required. The roles we are recruiting for are as follows:

You will work with clients (managing a caseload) who have mental health support needs, to assist them in securing sustainable paid employment in line with their preferences. You will deliver the IPS approach (for which training will be given); providing person centred support and guidance to clients, whilst building positive relationships with local employers to enable clients to move into suitable employment. Frazzled Cafe is a small mental health and wellbeing charity founded by Ruby Wax OBE, that provides a safe environment where people who are feeling frazzled and overwhelmed by the stresses of modern life can meet to talk and share their personal stories. 

We run our free meetings online every single day of the year for anyone who needs them, and anyone can book and be included to talk, share, listen and to feel heard.

We're looking for a confident and positive self starter with a high level of emotional intelligence and brilliant communication skills to be our new Project Support and Administrative Officer.

The role will develop and implement Frazzled Cafe communications including managing inboxes and marketing via social media, printed materials, and newsletters. The Project and Support Administrative Officer will provide support to the CEO and Training and Programmes to plan and manage service delivery, support the recruitment, training and queries of volunteers, as well as provide day-to-day administrative support to enable the effective running of the Frazzled Cafe meetings and functions.

Frazzled Cafe runs meetings throughout the day, from early in the morning until late in the evening seven days a week – the Project Support and Administrative Officer will be responsible for scheduling these meetings and supporting our Facilitators when issues arise.

Please note that there may be some evening and weekend work expected when emergency tech or meeting issues arise. 

Main tasks:

Core Programme:

● Manage the delivery of all Frazzled Cafe meetings by being the main point of contact for day-to-day queries, managing the day to day running of core programmes, ensuring documents, schedules, records and systems are all up to date, and being on call to deal with any issues that arise.

● Respond to all public enquiries in a helpful and efficient manner

● Managing the Frazzled Cafe meetings schedule by arranging our meetings with volunteers and uploading them onto our booking website

● Design all pre- and post- volunteer meeting polls and ensure these are completed

● Hosting Ruby Wax public meetings with Ruby on Zoom

Volunteer Support:

● Support the Training and Programmes Manager in the recruitment, evaluation and training of volunteers

● Be confident in having constructive and difficult conversations via Zoom, phone and email with our stakeholders and volunteer network

● Ensure all volunteer records and training tracking is maintained and updated, and arranging training meetings

● Assess feedback forms from volunteers that may highlight problems or risks within meetings and manage these accordingly

● Support all volunteers in case of distress, queries, updates, problem solving and escalating queries to the Training and Programmes Manager when required

● Support and minute monthly volunteer meetings

Communications and Marketing:

• Manage and design social media content across Frazzled Cafe’s platforms
• Write copy for a weekly external newsletter and monthly internal bulletin
• Promote Frazzled Cafe via printed materials, social media and partner relationships

Data and internal operations:

● Manage and oversee all data collection from the core programme meetings, including analysis and presentation of results to CEO, Training and Programmes Manager and Trustees

This is a hybrid role, usually involving one day a week working at WGN’s Vauxhall office and another at one of our various community-based offices in West London

The Government's Species Survival Fund 12-month practical Land Management Trainee post will be supported and mentored by reserves staff and will have the opportunity to get practical experience and training in nature conservation and the management and maintenance of our fantastic nature reserves in the Avalon Marshes project area.

‘Bogs and Bitterns’: Species Survival Fund Project – Land Management Trainee

Trainees will be supported and mentored by reserves staff and have the opportunity to get practical experience and training in nature conservation and the management and maintenance of the Trusts fantastic nature reserves. Trainees will get a chance to undertake a range of practical nature conservation activities to help manage trees and woodlands, grassland and meadows, complete surveys and species ID, develop skills in conservation grazing, visitor management, publicity and interpretation of wildlife for different audiences, as well as learning about site safety, leading groups and working with volunteers.

The 1- year trainee placement (30 hours per week over 4 days) enables a trainee to work through all four different seasons of reserves management giving them practical experience, skills and an understanding of the types of conservation roles available and which suits them with the key responsibilities of:

Responsibility 1:

Support the Reserves Team by:

• Working with the reserves team on Somerset Wildlife Trust’s nature reserves in the Avalon Marshes to deliver the Bogs and Bitterns project
• Assisting the reserves team with a range of practical reserve tasks

Working with volunteers by:

• Assisting the reserves team in delivering a programme of practical conservation volunteer days across all reserves and habitats

The post holder will be fully involved in all aspects of the day-to-day management of their designated service, including line managing the relevant front-line staff. Role description

We are looking for two self-motivated individuals to lead our programme delivery. One Programme Manager will be based in London with potential travel required across different locations in England, most likely Reading and Birmingham. The other Programme Manager will be based in Reading with potential travel required across different locations in England, most likely London, Birmingham, and the SE of England.

At the forefront of the organisation, you will be responsible for delivering all programmes allocated to you. Working alongside the Director of Programmes, you will be responsible for leading conversations related to retention and expansion of partnerships to drive our mission.

Our programme delivery involves maintaining partnerships with schools and universities, supporting our volunteers to become highly effective coaches, and managing programmes end-to-end from initial planning through to impact evaluation.

As well as delivering programmes in schools, once qualified as a coach, you will have the opportunity to be a professional coach to young adults from disadvantaged backgrounds currently at university or in the early stages of their career. 

You will also be responsible for the retention and renewal of partnerships within the region. You won’t have responsibility for generating new partnerships, but will be expected to support the CEO and Director of Programmes with identifying new opportunities and partners where you can.

Programme coordination and delivery: 

• Coordinate and run multiple in-school and online programmes (core and peer to peer) across the region.

Essential characteristics and experience: 

• Passion for social mobility. We have big aims and are looking for those who share our desire to make education fairer in the UK so a person’s background does not determine their future.

• Programme or project management experience.
