About the role
The Global Programmes Coordinator will provide administrative support to the Global Programmes Division, helping to keep it running smoothly and effectively. This includes developing, coordinating, and updating key administrative, budgetary, planning, recruitment and information systems in support of divisional objectives. This essential role will work across a range of departments within the Global Programmes division (Divisional Operations, Humanitarian, Programme Partnerships and Programme Quality and Impact).
In this role, your Key Accountabilities will be:
• Administrative Support: To develop and coordinate appropriate administrative systems, including: organising complex divisional or departmental level meetings, awaydays and events; coordinating desk booking and asset management; providing subject matter expertise (SME) for departmental staff organising their own travel.
• PA Support: To provide PA support to the Director of the Department or Global Programme Executive Director, including proactive diary management, meeting organisation, processing expense claims, collating briefings and pre-reads for meetings, responding to internal and external enquiries and booking travel.
• Team Support: To help teams navigate the processes that will support and enable administrative self-sufficiency.
• Finance: To support the processing of invoices and respond to queries from department and finance colleagues as necessary.
• People & HR: To support divisional or departmental HR processes through data collection and database management of mandatory tasks and training, providing SME support to people managers leading recruitment for their teams, and coordinating induction processes for utilisation by people managers for new staff. May provide more direct support to recruitment processes led by Directors.
• Internal Communication: To act as the initial point of contact for internal enquiries and requests for information about the work of the department, to triage or respond to ad hoc queries and to update information on the website, SharePoint and email lists. May work with others on coordinating and producing departmental or divisional level communications such as newsletters.
• Other: To perform other responsibilities as may be required from time-to-time to ensure the smooth running of the division and department and to deputise for colleagues as required (including Coordinators covering other departments or supporting the Global Programmes Executive Directors).
About you
We are looking for a candidate that takes genuine satisfaction from keeping teams, systems and processes in order and that recognises the value of strong administration.
To be successful, it is important that you have:
• Experience of operating administrative systems and working in a large, complex office environment.
• Ideally experience of managing and booking international travel.
• A high level of computer literacy (Microsoft Office, Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, and databases).
• Ability to organise and prioritise multiple tasks efficiently and deliver tasks to tight deadlines.
• Ability to work flexibly, managing reactive and proactive work from a range of colleagues.
• Good relationship-building skills, with the ability to tailor communication methods to different audiences.
• Ability to be proactive and show initiative with demonstrable ‘can do' approach to work.

About the Role
As the Durham Service Manager you will oversee the successful operation of supported accommodation providing an assessment, support and move on service to young people at risk of homelessness – creating a safe and engaging environment that individuals feel proud to call home.
You will work across the Bishop Auckland Supported Accommodation service and the Dispersed Accommodation service based in Tow Law managing a team of Progression Coaches, Night Progression Coaches and Outreach Workers. You will support and guide the team in providing targeted support for clients and take responsibility for the safety and wellbeing of all young people, volunteers, staff and the building in the service. Additionally, you will ensure the service meets all the relevant regulatory and quality standards, including compliance with Ofsted requirements to maintain the highest level of care and support.
Key responsibilities include:
• Build and maintain local relationships with commissioners, stakeholders, and delivery partners, ensuring effective collaboration.
• Oversee building safety through regular risk assessments, health and safety checks, and compliance with Depaul policies.
• Liaise with internal departments (Finance, HR, Fundraising, etc.) to ensure smooth service operations.
• Manage and monitor budgets in coordination with the finance team and Assistant Director.
• Deliver high standards of support for young people and ensure effective housing management practices, meeting KPI targets.
• Apply the Depaul Acceptance and Commitment Therapy model to help clients align with their values and long-term goals.

The Role
As the right hand to our CEO, you’ll play a critical role in ensuring the smooth running of the Executive Office and supporting the Board’s administrative functions.

Role Description
The Chief Finance Officer (CFO) will lead in the development and implementation of the Cathedral's financial strategy and objectives, providing expert financial guidance and support to Chapter and senior colleagues to develop strategy to deliver Chapter's vision. The postholder will ensure law and regulatory compliance and that all aspects of financial planning and management are conducted to provide accurate, relevant and timely financial information to the Cathedral, Chapter and St Edmundsbury Cathedral Trust and Enterprises Ltd.
The CFO will play a lead role in advising the Chair of Finance and Chapter. They will attend all Chapter and Finance Committee meetings.
The CFO is a member of the Cathedral's Senior Management Team and will deputise for the Chief Operating Officer (COO) on occasions.
Key Responsibilities
The CFO will support the Facilities Manager in the development of the Cathedral's Property portfolio and our Net Zero Carbon Strategy.
Strategic:
- Overall responsibility for the finance function ensuring the accurate and timely presentation of management accounts, budgets and cashflow reports and annual accounts for the Cathedral and Enterprises.
- Work with the COO and senior members of staff and clergy in developing the Cathedral’s commercial strategy and delivery of Cathedral Master Plan.
- Providing strategic business planning support to all commercial and charitable operations.
- Be a part of the Senior Management Team taking a leadership role across the whole of the organisation, supporting Chapter and Heads of Departments, and working constructively with the COO and Chair of Finance, Finance committee and Risk Audit and Review committee.

- Oversee the introduction of a coherent pay scale for the Cathedral and Enterprises.
Operational:
- Line manage and work closely with the Finance Manager to ensure the effective management of the Cathedral finances including areas such as payroll and pensions.
- Oversee the preparation of year-end reports and financial statements for the Cathedral, St Edmundsbury Cathedral Trust and Enterprises Ltd.
- Work with the Marketing and Communications Manger to review the presentation of our Annual Report and Accounts.
- Produce and oversee the annual budget.
- Prepare monthly management accounts.

- Helping Chapter with the process for re-tendering for new auditors from time to time.
- Oversight of the various requirement of HMRC, including VAT, PAYE, and NI.
- To undertake essential company secretarial and compliance tasks ensuring compliance with the Charities Act 2011, company law, financial regulations including the annual returns to the Church of England, Charity Commission and Companies House.
- Oversight and authorisation of claims for Gift Aid, and projects under the Listed Places of Worship Grant Scheme.

- Work with the COO to effectively manage contracts held by the Cathedral (e.g. maintenance, utilities, IT, etc) and ensure value for money.
- Be the lead liaison on the Cathedral’s relationship with our Bankers, Insurers and Investment Managers.
- To support the COO and Director of Enterprises in ensuring that the activities carried out by Enterprises are properly costed, and that all business plans are robust, generating positive returns, with stocks correctly accounted for, reducing the risks wherever possible.

Governance:
- Attend Chapter meetings and provide regular written and verbal reports.

Key Responsibilities
- The purpose of this role is to lead the charities Lotteries and Raffles team which has the goal of generating and inspiring support from both new and existing supporters. This person will advance existing products and campaigns towards their full potential as well as develop new campaigns and activity that drive growth, retention and engagement. In doing so, they will act as a key support to the Executive Director of Individual Giving and Lotteries in ensuring that the department achieves its income generation goals.
- Develop a clear vision and strategy to deliver sustainable income growth within the prize led fundraising channel.
- Drive and oversee all day-to-day activity around lotteries and raffles, ensuring campaigns are effectively coordinated and that broader teams are enabled to support delivery.
- Proactively find ways to increase the impact of the Lottery and Raffle income streams by developing and testing new approaches to player recruitment, retention and engagement.
- Supported by the Executive Director of Individual Giving and Lotteries ensure compliance of the KSS lottery activities against the charities Gambling Commission license conditions

The role of Head of Lotteries and Raffles is part of the management team within the Individual Giving and Lotteries directorate. This directorate plays a crucial role in fostering strong relationships with our supporters and generating sustainable income for KSS. Our Lotteries have a combined income of £9 million per year, and the Head of Lotteries and Raffles will be responsible for ensuring the consistent growth of these lotteries, and to ensure that we provide engaging and safe fundraising avenue for our supporters.
