Justice and Care is at an exciting moment with the imminent launch of a new ten-year strategy and we are looking to build a finance function to support this growth.
We are recruiting for an experienced Programme Finance Manager to manage and oversee the outworking of key financial processes at Justice & Care. With a particular focus on support for our international projects funded by the US State Department and UK Government but with responsibilities also for our UK audit process and income/expenditure forecasting, this is a broad and varied role.
This is a new role and will be line managed by the Finance Director but will work closely with in-country finance leads, programme teams, the Development team and wider global teams

About the role and the London Adult Service:
The London Adult Service is a transformational service which aims to provide end-to-end support and casework to victims and witnesses of crime in London. The service is funded by the Mayor's Office for Police and Crime (MOPAC) and is a key part of the London criminal justice landscape. This role will play a pivotal part in supporting our external interface with our stakeholders. The role will be home-based, but attendance at our London office may sometimes be required for meetings.
As a Digital Engagement and Partnerships Manager you'll:
- Promote the London adult digital services to encourage referrals into the service.
- Oversee the implementation of key digital initiatives, working with partners to ensure a joined up user journey.

About The Role
Working closely with our Chief Executive Officer, the Operations and Systems Manager would take a birds-eye view of our organisation to help us build a consistent, collaborative and centralised approach to how we work. You would hold responsibility for developing and embedding operational strategies, processes, policies, and systems that meet our needs and help to support staff wellbeing. Day-to-day operational management of the Charity, including:
- Resolving daily operational and administrative issues efficiently and effectively.

- Developing and refining our approach to hybrid working, ensuring systems and processes enable connection and creativity across the organisation. This is an exciting time to join us. Our work splits into two main areas – the first is advocacy and research, where we seek partnerships that will allow us to grow our nationwide campaigns and calls for action, as set out in the DPA’s National Delivery Plan. The second, a growth area for us, is delivery of programmes that help real people – such as our Tech4 suite of initiatives, which support a range of beneficiaries, but commonly young people and families, to access kit, connectivity, skills and support, and our Donation Management Service which works on a school by school basis to ensure parental donations support year groups gain class-wide one to one devices.
The Development Manager will work with the CEO and our team to facilitate this growth in impact, understanding and influence and encourage new partnerships, while ensuring our donors and supporters feel informed and engaged.
As an initiative, the DPA aims to work through partners in delivering to our core mission and, as such, we retain only a small core team. As such, you’ll lead on the fundraising function and the DMS relationships, but work within a highly supportive team where income targets are shared.
Whilst the role is remote based, you will regularly need to attend in-person meetings and events in central London (daytime and evening), as well as undertaking travel across the UK. About the role and its purpose
We are in a very exciting moment in the development of the Advantage Mentoring by designing a second programme which this post-holder will be responsible for the successful implementation and project and performance management of.
Taking the underpinning principles and approaches of our flagship young person programme in partnership between CCO and CAMHS, we have designed a second programme helping adults signed-off work due to their mental health to improve their overall health and get back to sustainable employment.
