We’re looking for a Digital Content Executive to join our incredibly talented and passionate team. You’ll work with us to create engaging web content and exceptional digital experiences to support people affected by dementia.
Our website provides vital advice and support to millions of people affected by dementia and inspires our supporters to be a force for change by campaigning, joining events and fundraising.
We work with people affected by dementia to tell their stories and create content that reflects the full range of their experiences. Informed by user research and analytics, we seek to optimise our digital platforms, making them easier for our audience to understand and use.
As well as designing and optimising web content, the successful candidate will advise colleagues around the organisation on best digital content practices, such as writing for the web, SEO and accessibility. They will collaborate with teams to ensure our digital content always represents the needs of people affected by dementia and our supporters.
This is a homeworking role, but you will be required to travel to attend some meetings and team-days, so you must hold a current UK passport and reside in the UK. There is flexibility for more frequent office-working if desired. We are happyto discuss any preferences before or during the application process.

The role:
We believe Street Child has a huge opportunity to achieve even more growth in the Corporate Partnerships sector by diversifying our coverage and relationships into new industries and growth markets. The New Business Manager role will play a key role in leading our New Business activity outside of our existing portfolio. Reporting to our recently appointed Senior Manager for Partnership and New Business, your role will involve:
1. Core New Business activity: Researching and development of prospect lists for priority industries to implement New Business campaigns capable of securing multi-year high value partnerships. Responsibility for building Street Child’s network of corporate relationships and growing pipeline of corporate partnership opportunities.
2. Partnership and proposition development: Working closely with our colleagues in the Corporate Partnerships and Global Programme Funding teams to develop engaging and impactful partnership plans and project propositions, focusing on priority countries and programmes to support Street Child’s strategy and mission.
3. Corporate engagement with events: Utilising the portfolio of events Street Child has across the year to engage and steward corporate relationships, including Street Child owned events and external events including the World Economic Forum and UN General Assembly.
4. Supporting on cross-organisational fundraising activations: Leading on new corporate engagement activities, including new fundraising and sponsorship activations, to support cross-organisational initiatives including our Spring Gala, annual Back to School Campaign and other key milestones throughout the year.
Key activities in this role:
- Development of New Business engagement plans – identifying, researching, engaging and cultivating new corporate prospects and relationships;
- Implementing ambitious New Business campaigns to target priority industries, including the oversight of prospecting and marketing mapping activity;
- Management of new business pipeline and prospect lists, including use and maintenance of corporate prospects data on CRM;

We are proud to be partnering with a renowned Human Rights charity to find a full time, temporary IT Administrator. This is a full time, office based role near Old Street for a period of 2-3 months.
The IT Administrator provides administrative and logistical support to the IT team including laptop imaging, administration around contract management, taking and allocating calls to the helpdesk, carrying out first and second-line response and appropriate tasks allocated by the team managers. Carries out agreed operational procedures of a routine nature. Contributes to maintenance, installation and problem resolution with IT equipment and services. The hours for the post reflect the current service requirements, they may be subject to change if the needs of the service change.
You will be one of the main points of contact for the IT helpdesk, both by phone and email and allocate tasks as appropriate and will provide first-line response to queries with appropriate training. You will escalate any unresolved calls to more senior members of the IT team. You will log all incoming calls (phone, email, face to face) accurately, documenting progress as appropriate and closing calls with correct code to facilitate accurate reporting on activity.
This temporary role is full time and office based near Old Street/Shoreditch and is expected to start in early August for at least 2-3 months.

What would we like…?
We're looking for someone with a background in graphic design and a keen eye for detail to join our Learning Design team as Graphic Designer for a 12-month FTC, to cover a period of maternity leave within the team.
You'll be responsible for for creating visuals and infographics for use across a range of different formats, including both digital and print. You'll use your understanding of graphic design principles and your technical design skills to help participants on our programmes both navigate our materials and make sense of complex information.
We would like you to:
- Create graphics for use in our learning materials, both print and digital
- Refine and, in some instances, establish visual style guides for each resource to ensure that all materials are aligned with our Ambition Institute’s brand style, accessible to all and replicable at scale.
- Use your knowledge of core graphic design principles to inform your work and support colleagues in learning design to use graphics effectively (relating to principles such as: typography, layout. colour and illustration)
- Collaborate with colleagues in the Learning Design team and across the organisation to translate ideas, information and concepts into strong visuals.
- Writing briefs for external graphic designers, which accurately describe the work, provide clear style guidance and specifications and set clear timelines for completion of the work.
Working in a hybrid way, you’ll be attached to either our Birmingham, London or Manchester office and will report to Associate Director, Production. In line with our current ways of working, you’ll be expected to be in the office at least 1 day a month, in addition to team day (which rotate across our regional offices) and this may be reviewed by Ambition.
Skills, Knowledge and Experience
To succeed in this role you'll have a minimum of level 3 qualification in Graphic Design, e.g. degree, diploma or apprenticeship. You'll demonstrate an ability to work in a flexible manner and have experience of working in both digital and media print.
It is essential that you are able to work efficiently in Adobe Illustrator and Adobe In Design. You'll also demonstrate an ability to work with content designers to help them turn their knowledge of information or a concept into a visual image.
Whilst an ability to create clear and accurate briefs for external Graphic Designers and knowledge of accessibility standards are desirable, it is not essential that you have prior experience to apply for this role. We will provide training and development where there are gaps.

The Retail & E-Commerce Manager will be responsible for creating a seamless digital shopping experience and online customer journey that creates loyalty through best- in-class customer service and by providing a range of gifts that meet the needs of current and future members and supporters. They will effectively manage the performance of the retail operations, ensuring net profit is maximized in line with Mothers’ Union strategic objectives and values. This role will have a particular focus on developing new customer channels and will need a strong understanding of digital marketing and using data and insight to grow sales.
About you
You are an experienced retail professional with a proven track record of delivering growth of retail sales across multiple channels. Working knowledge of managing a shopify retail business is essential along with experience in retail buying. Work Location/Hybrid Working Pattern
This role will be based at our Head Office in central London. Mothers’ Union operates a hybrid working model. Staff are required to work an aggregate minimum of 90 days per calendar year (pro rata for part timers) at our Head Office, Mary Sumner House in central London. Tuesdays are our anchor days where every staff member is expected to be at the office. The 90 days includes anchor Tuesdays. In addition, Thursday is a core working day where part time staff are expected to work, either at home or from the office as needed.

The focus of the role is to lead our dedicated Disability Service team to support children and adults with physical and learning disabilities, and work with managers and funders to get the service successfully recommissioned.
You will shape and oversee a high-quality service that provides weekday, social and respite opportunities, and youth and holiday clubs. You will also provide knowledge, insight and data to support the successful recommissioning of services and secure funding for new projects and activities.
A significant part of the role will be to support and supervise our Disability Service coordinators and support workers, and work with managers to identify and implement quality improvements and manage change.

The Programme Manager will be accountable for coordinating and delivering our contributions to the Fair Water Footprint Programme.
