At Youth Action Alliance (YAA), our mission is to support the personal and social development (their values, beliefs, ideas and skills) of the young people living in Kensington and Chelsea, enabling them to increase their resilience and skills in the present and promote their ambitions for the future. We are ambitious to grow, to continue supporting more young people and influence positive change. To do this we are looking to appoint a Business Support Officer to provide a range of financial support duties and administer the organisation’s general ledger and finance system.

This post will provide high-quality support to the technology and operations of the organisation, to ensure the smooth running of the main site and enable YAA to meet and deliver on its core objectives and obligations. The post holder will provide administrative support to YAA, covering a wide range of tasks and activities including (but not limited to) procurement coordination, travel and logistics, department meetings and off-site activities, diary management, meeting coordination, and minute-taking for our board and meetings for staff, members and stakeholders.

General Requirements

● To support the delivery of Youth Action Alliance

● To ensure a friendly, professional and informative service to all visitors and stakeholders, ensuring that any enquiries are responded to sensitively and appropriately

● To maintain a diary and manage all incoming calls and all correspondence

● To develop good working relationships across all YAA teams and external partners

● To attend and support meetings including minuting (including evening, weekend and events as/when required)

● To oversee the Health and Safety of YAA and ensure all aspects are attended to in line with the YAA Health and safety Policy and PPE in line with COVID-19 guidance.

● To liaise with the CEO to ensure all staff, facilitator and contractors' contracts/SLAs are up-to-date

● To process all organisational income and expenditure and maintain and update all financial documentation accurately

● To assist and support all staff with the smooth operation of all finance matters

● To provide accounts against budgets for the Board of Trustee meeting

● A college equivalent qualification

● Experience in developing and implementing administrative systems

● Able to work independently or as part of a team.

• Work with partner organisations to establish hearing voices peer support groups in addition to organising and facilitating existing groups.
• Offer support to a range of people who hear voices and/or have other sensory experiences or difficult beliefs (at the moment, primarily young people and their families) in a variety of ways (email, Zoom, phone, face-to-face).
• Deal with enquiries and offer information to interested stakeholders.
• Facilitate focus groups and support young people’s involvement in a range of areas.
• Support relevant data monitoring and evaluation on the projects.

An opportunity has arisen for a Project Support Worker who will support the Diocesan Safeguarding Team in the delivery of case work, cold case reviews and management of casework recording.

Has excellent communication skills, including written and verbal to engage with employees and third-party providers. Is proficient in using HRIS software to manage employee data and produce reports. About the Role

• The London Hotel is a bespoke and time limited housing project, with 16 en-suite rooms, delivered by Westminster City Council and The Connection at St Martins. The accommodation is run from a hotel in Paddington, that has a staff office and a key work room.
• The aim of the service is to deliver a wrap-around support offer to entrenched rough sleepers, with multiple unmet needs, and who would otherwise struggle to access accommodation. The expectation put on those moving into the service is that they will be given a period of time to stabilise with health and wellbeing input and will then work towards a longer-term accommodation offer with us.
• The service provides food daily, as well as toiletries and offers other areas of support (aside from health and accommodation move on) around financial inclusion, substance dependency, obtaining ID and navigating criminal justice involvement.
• In this role, you will provide direct support to the residents of the hotel generally, as well as holding a small case load of residents who you will keywork.
• You will work closely with external partners to develop support networks around the residents and will make referrals into the relevant services. Alongside this you might need to accompany people off-site to appointments and coordinate the network around them to meet their needs. You will also need to facilitate external partners accessing the site, so they can provide support to residents.  
• Your focus when working with people will be to support them to develop a move on plan, so they can move from the hotel, into longer term accommodation. This is alongside the day to day running of the service as well as facilitating the maintenance of a trauma informed environment and dynamically responding to people’s needs.
• This is a fixed term role until 31st March 2026

Harris Hill are seeking an HR & Office Manager to join a dynamic arts and community-focused charity, dedicated to fostering creativity, inclusivity, and accessibility across multiple venues in London. This is a full-time position for 32 hours a week, spread over 4 days.

In this pivotal role, you will oversee the day-to-day HR and office systems, supporting a diverse and expanding team of 50+ staff. Your primary responsibility will be to ensure the smooth running of HR processes, from onboarding and offboarding to maintaining accurate staff records and managing workplace issues. You will be the go-to person for HR queries and provide key support to line managers, ensuring consistent and fair implementation of policies.

Additionally, you will manage internal office systems, streamline workflows, and enhance communication tools to support the growing organisation. Your role will ensure that the organisation’s internal operations remain transparent, efficient, and scalable, keeping the infrastructure aligned with their values of care and respect. You will also be involved in staff wellbeing initiatives, team-building activities, and fostering a positive organisational culture.

The ideal candidate will have proven experience in HR coordination and office management, a solid understanding of UK employment law, and excellent organisational and communication skills. You should be comfortable managing multiple tasks and improving internal processes, with a strong commitment to fairness, accessibility, and care in the workplace. Experience in the arts, charity, or not-for-profit sectors is a plus, along with familiarity with HR software and project management tools.

Leave:                25 days plus bank holidays

Salary: £37,000 (including London Weighting)

Pension:              5% employer contribution, 3% employee contribution

Contract:  Permanent (subject to successful completion of 6-month probationary period)

Beyond the Streets is a UK charity with over 20 years’ experience of partnering with women in the sex industry, to see them safe from coercion, violence and abuse.

Our ‘Direct Work’ is central to the organisation, providing trauma-informed, holistic support, to women who are/have been involved in selling sex.  Whilst the service has been established for over 10 years, we are entering into a period of change, and are seeking an experienced manager, to lead the team through this transition.

Working as part of a team in our East London office, you will be responsible for providing oversight and support for the day-to-day operations of the team, who provide regular telephone support to a caseload of women.

These calls will be often the first point of support for women involved in the sex industry, offering a listening ear for them to process some of their feelings and experiences and providing emotional support; as well as providing more practical assistance to overcome the barriers they face in accessing support.  This could be through advocating with external agencies e.g., mental health, housing, problematic substance use, homelessness, poverty, domestic abuse, sexual violence, the criminal justice system; and to make positive steps forward with their lives.

You will also have responsibility for maintain relationships with our small team of volunteer therapists, who provide free counselling to the women we work alongside.

You’ll need…

• Proven experience of line managing a front-line delivery team
• Understanding of the complexities of working with women who have multiple disadvantages and the barriers to service access they face
• Experienced with working with and engaging with diverse groups of people from varying backgrounds
• Familiarity with local Adult Safeguarding protocols and procedures
• Rehearsed in forming positive working relationships with external agencies
• Ability to input, collate, interpret and provide written reports on project data
• Comfortable working within a Violence Against Women and Girls (VAWG) framework
• Commitment to providing quality, women-lead and trauma-informed support
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Patience, compassion, non-judgemental and motivational attitude
• Resilience to work with women who have often experienced trauma
• A responsible, dedicated and flexible approach to work
• Competent IT knowledge and computer skills

Main purpose of post

• ‘First’ point of contact for general fundraising enquiries (face to face, telephone, via post, email, & website) providing excellent supporter and customer care

• Donor communications & stewardship- delivering high quality donor care for our fundraisers

• Provide support for fundraising initiatives, campaigns & events during the year (with a requirement to work occasional evenings and weekends to fulfil this function)

• Fundraising Materials preparation and distribution

• Responsible for the stock control for all our materials including trading, events and supporter’s items

• Ensure that all activities and contacts are managed through Weston Park Cancer Charity systems and procedures and that data is kept up to date

• Attend and contribute to team meetings and 'away days' and be an active, invested member of our team

• Drive the charity car when required for charity business (driving licence essential).

About you:

· You will be a forward thinking, team player with a ‘can do’ attitude & part of a fast-paced fundraising team

· You will have excellent communication skills (both written and oral) as you will be welcoming donors, volunteers, and patients on a daily basis

· Able to manage your own workload and priorities to agreed deadlines
