Main Responsibilities
You will be responsible for building a pipeline of prospective partners and rolling out a commercially driven, donor centric acquisition strategy for corporate new business. Confident at working with and managing senior stakeholders, you will broker sector-leading partnerships that raise awareness of diabetes and enhance the health and wellbeing of millions of people across the UK. You will also be responsible for motivating a small team and actively engaging with the wider philanthropy and partnerships team, other directorates and external audiences to maximise opportunities for collaboration and growth.
Ideal Candidate
To be an excellent Senior Partnerships Manager you will need:-
1. Substantial and demonstrable experience of securing and maximising new high value partnerships (6 & 7 figure in value) within large and complex organisations.
2. Strong corporate fundraising and/ or corporate experience in a commercial setting (preferably in sales/marketing) adept at problem solving and identifying creative solutions
3. Line management experience and an ability to develop constructive relationships cross organisationally to develop new and exciting funding propositions
4. Experience of supporting and delivering high quality communications, presentations and creative pitches to influence and persuade a variety of internal and external stakeholder audiences
5. Excellent negotiation, compliance, contracting, and influencing skills with a proven ability to build and nurture a robust pipeline for new business opportunities

As with everything we do, the Core Service must remain responsive to changes in the community’s advice needs, and also to how the community needs that advice to be delivered (for example the introduction of new channels or delivery points). The post holder will therefore listen well, foster an appetite and readiness for change in our people, and be persistent. In terms of day to day service delivery, they will thrive in the following environment (and support others to do the same); unpredictability, clients in difficult situations, multiple advice subjects, and incoming referrals arriving from different partners and channels.

About the role:

Conditions of service (summary)

The IDVA team works within a multi-agency system to provide a proactive, person-centered independent service for victims of domestic abuse, empowering choice through informed decision making.
Key elements of the role include:
- Providing priority support to service users.
- Risk assessing and helping to keep service users safe through safety planning.

- Engaging with and supporting the MARAC process, to ensure that the voice of victims is heard.

POSITION SUMMARY:
Performs Accounts Payable function; processes transactions in the accounting system and maintains accounts payable files for vendors. Primary point of contact for questions and assistance regarding entry and payment of invoices.
Essential duties and responsibilities:
- Subject matter expert on Unit 4 ERP System Vendor Master File and accounts payable, provide support to other Internews staff also entering invoices.

Based within the Wiltshire Domestic Abuse Service, the IDVA team works within a multi-agency system to provide a proactive, person-centered independent service for victims of domestic abuse, empowering choice through informed decision making.
This is a temporary 6 month position, however this post is likely to be extended.
Key elements of the role include:
- Providing priority support to service users.
- Risk assessing and helping to keep service users safe through safety planning.
