Job description
Every two hours, someone is paralysed by spinal cord injury. Our client is a national charity providing practical support to ensure all those affected can move from injury to independence.
 
Our client’s Welfare Benefits Service supports over 400 clients a year, providing specialist advice and ensuring they are receiving all the benefits that they are entitled to.

They’re looking for someone to join the team to provide administrative support and ensure their service is running efficiently. As the first point of contact for those seeking their help, you’ll be an excellent communicator, skilled in drawing out key information and confident in using that to prioritise cases. Excellent administration and computer skills are a must. This is a busy role where you’ll be working with clients every day and seeing the difference that you are making.
 
They’ll provide full training, but it is essential you already understand some of the issues that disabled people face when making benefit claims. Please demonstrate this in a few words in your application. 
 
This is a hybrid role, and the frequency of visits to our client’s offices is negotiable.
