Working closely with the Team Manager, you will provide support and supervision to a team of dedicated and experienced social workers. This will include assisting with managing workloads across the team as well as coaching and supervising team members to ensure that the highest standards of quality and professional practice are achieved and maintained, and they reach their full potential. In addition, you will carry your own small caseload and deputise for the Team Manager as needed.

You should be a qualified registered social worker, with at least 3 years’ child social care experience including adoption experience. Skilled at undertaking more complex assessments, your own standards of practice will be consistently high, and you will work with the child at the centre of all that you do. With excellent communication skills, you’ll be a confident networker, able to build successful working relationships within your own team, across the service and with external professionals.

• Work proactively with the HR Business Partner on the running of staff recruitment and selection processes, including sitting as the HR representative on the interview panel for more senior roles.

Essential Experience, Skills and Attributes

• Substantial experience of working in HR operations and of developing and reviewing appropriate HR policies and procedures in a charity or similar setting.
• Sound understanding of employment law and a willingness to keep up-to-date with relevant legislative changes.
• A passion for EDI and an ability to be creative and engaging in communications around this subject.
• Strong organisational skills and an understanding of the importance of discretion and confidentiality.
• Excellent written and oral communication skills, including evidence of ability to adapt to a variety of cultural settings.

Established in 1985, Muslim Aid has facilitated the engagement of the British Muslim and non-Muslim community in support of its work in a variety of ways. Summary of Role:

The ICT Officer will provide the first line technical support and ensures smooth ICT operations across the organisation. The role encompasses troubleshooting hardware/software and network issues, whilst managing devices via Microsoft Intune and maintaining Office 365 applications. Additionally, the ICT Officer is responsible for setting up and maintaining meeting room equipment, managing IT assets and ensuring security compliance. This hands-on position requires regular presence in the office to support the organisation’s ICT needs.

About the Role:

1. Provide first-line technical support to end-users.
2. Troubleshoot and resolve hardware, software and networking issues
3. Respond to and resolve staff queries in a timely manner
4. Ensure devices are up to dates, particularly with security patches and updates in the security centre.
5. Assist in settings up and configuring PCs, monitors and other hardware.
6. Manage office 365 applications and the admin centre.

About You:

To be successful in this role, you will need:

1. Educated to Bachelor’s degree level.
2. Proven experience in a similar help desk or IT support role.
3. Proficiency in managing devices using Microsoft Intune.
4. Strong knowledge of Office 365 applications and the admin centre.
5. Good interpersonal and communication skills and ability to liaise effectively with people at various levels.
6. Good team work skills with the ability to work with different and sometime conflicting agendas.

The charity is looking for a Media and Communications Manager (maternity cover) to help its work to stop economic abuse forever.

You would be joining the charity at an exciting time. In this role, you would lead on delivering the charity’s press office function and manage the charity’s annual Economic Abuse Awareness Day campaign.

As part of this role, you will also work closely with survivors to land high-profile media coverage to raise awareness about economic abuse and support our work influencing the new government. • Lead on creating and delivering media stories to support the charity’s aim to raise awareness of economic abuse and influence policy and legislative change.
• Work closely with the Survivor Engagement Specialist to identify and gather survivors’ stories and support them to safely tell their story in the media.
• Line-manage a Communications Officer and oversee their work delivering our social media communications, ensuring strategic, on brand and responsive to risks and opportunities.
• Deliver media training to charity spokespeople and provide both written and verbal briefings ahead of interviews to ensure message consistency.
• Feedback and sign-off on communication materials developed by others to ensure consistent messaging, in line with the charity’s brand guidelines.
• Protect and maintain the charity’s brand and reputation, identifying risks and working with team members to effectively respond.

The Role
