Overview of the Role:
We are looking for a proactive Fundraising Administrator to join the fundraising team in London, to support on a wide range of fundraising administration. Working across a range of income streams, you will support on mailings and event administration, financial processes, and other communications with donors and supporters. Based at our headquarters in London Monday to Friday, you will be present in our office to support our fundraisers and to deal with tasks in person which is particularly important during our busy spring and summer season.
Supporting our legacy and in memory team, our patrons team, and our philanthropy team, you will have excellent customer service skills alongside your ability to manage a range of different administrative tasks. As our Fundraising Administrator, you will play a crucial role in supporting our team and you will need good attention to detail and outstanding communication skills. The integrated Partner Support/IDVA Practitioner will champion the Cranstoun values across the organisation and drive the Cranstoun ‘people’ agenda ensuring a culture based on fairness, collaboration, and trust.
You will strive to make contact and work on a one-to-one basis either face to face or online/telephone platforms with survivors/victims of the Harrow Domestic Abuse service, and will pro-actively secure engagement, and support victims on an ongoing one-to-one offer, improving the safety of victims/survivors and link to complementary services.
To do this, you will work in a multi-agency framework with existing agencies site to design a co-ordinated, strategic individual intervention plan to address identified needs and risks and promote understanding of the impact of abusive behaviours.
Throughout the intervention, you will work closely with the Harrow Domestic Abuse team and external agencies to review risk, develop safety plans, and improve outcomes for all parties involved.

New Horizon Youth Centre (NHYC) runs London's only youth-specific emergency accommodation project in partnership with Depaul UK. The London Youth Hub, based in Islington, provides emergency accommodation and support to help young people facing rough sleeping to transition into safe, long-term housing and achieve independence. As an Assessment and Resettlement Worker for the Youth Hub you will be joining our new Rough Sleeping Team and be responsible for delivering high-quality move on and advice services to young people staying at the Hub. This includes conducting needs assessments, providing guidance on housing, welfare benefits, tenancy rights, and employment, and connecting young people to relevant resources and support services. The role involves managing a case list of clients with diverse and often complex needs and collaborating with both internal teams and external partners to ensure successful client move on options within the 56 days emergency stay.

We have an exciting opportunity to join the Wildlife team, within the Policy, Prevention and Campaigns Division, as a Senior Scientific and Policy Officer - Wildlife Rescue & Rehabilitation.
This role is essential for the RSPCA to further safeguard sick, injured, and orphaned wildlife and achieve the RSPCA's objective of securing better legal protection for wildlife in animal welfare establishments (wildlife rescue and rehabilitation centres).
Currently, anyone can set up a rescue/rehabilitation centre or sanctuary with no oversight. This can lead to these establishments becoming overwhelmed despite good intentions.
This role will develop and implement an advocacy strategy to achieve statutory regulation of these facilities, to protect the welfare of wild animals.
The post-holder will work closely with the Veterinary and Operations teams to ensure the RSPCA's rescue and rehabilitation standards are based on the latest scientific evidence.
This role will achieve measurable improvements in welfare standards and legal protections, reinforce the RSPCA's commitment to leading positive change and strengthen the Society's position as an influential leader in this field.
This role is being offered as a 24 month fixed term contract. We are open to flexible working options, such as part time hours.
The role will be offered on a hybrid working basis; working from home and from our London and or Horsham office. The expectation for this role will be 1 day per month in the office.

To succeed within this role, it is essential that you have proven experience of liaising with civil servants, MPs and other members of the government.
You must have strong communication skills and the ability to juggle conflicting priorities, along with a strong background of working within policy.

This post will deliver policy outputs across the Young Lives programme, with a strong focus on laying the foundations for a new Young Lives ResearchHub on Climate Change and Environmental Shocks. The delivery of high-quality impactful policy outputs is central to the success of Young Lives as an innovative international longitudinal study, including supporting new fundraising opportunities.
The post holder will report directly to the Young Lives Deputy Director, and will work closely with the Young Lives Director, Senior Researchers and Head of Communications based in Oxford. Responsibilities
- Contribute to laying the foundations for a new Young Lives (YL) Research Hub on Climate Change and Environmental Shocks.
- Support the Deputy Director to deliver the YL Policy Influencing Strategy and key research-to-policy outputs across the YL programme, including key messages, policy briefs, impact case studies, blogs and other policy focused materials relating to YL research themes. Key themes include education and skills, employment, health & wellbeing and family lives, with a specific focus on the crosscutting impacts of climate change and environmental shocks, poverty and inequalities.
- Track and analyse international and national policy debates, with a specific focus on the impact of poverty, inequalities and climate change on young people in low- and middle-income (LMICs) countries, including the disproportionate effects on girls and women.
- Proactively engage and build relationships with key international policy stakeholders working on the impacts of poverty, inequalities and climate change in LMICs, including policy influencers and practitioners (e.g. governments, donors and civil society), research-to-policy networks and researchers.
- Work closely with the Deputy Director and YL Country Directors to identify opportunities to influence policy debates both internationally and in the four study countries and provide technical support in developing research-to-policy engagement plans.
- Work closely with the YL Head of Communications to ensure research findings and related policy implications are effectively disseminated for maximum impact, including through website and social media, webinars, conferences, policy events and meetings to encourage the maximum uptake and impact of Young Lives evidence. Represent Young Lives at external events and meetings where necessary.
- Provide support to the Young Lives Director and Deputy Director in the development of fundraising proposals and submission of grant applications to generate future Young Lives research income.
Selection Criteria
Essential selection criteria
- Education to Degree level in a relevant subject (e.g. social or public policy, development studies, sociology, anthropology, or economics).
- Substantial experience in a policy analysis/advocacy role within the international development arena, including experience of developing and implementing policy influencing and engagement strategies.
- Proven track record of contributing to high-quality policy-related publications, including policy briefs and blogs. Significant experience of using research evidence to engage with policy and practice.
- Broad knowledge of relevant international policy and practice debates including the cross-cutting impacts of climate change, poverty and inequalities on young people in LMICs.
- Excellent analytical skills, able to synthesise and distil key messages from a wide range of technical academic research and policy reports.
- Excellent written and oral communication skills. Ability to write quickly for publication, tailor communications to different audiences for maximum user access and impact, and experience of presenting at external events and high-profile meetings.
- Strong interpersonal and relationship-building skills. Ability to work collaboratively within a large team as well as independently, to prioritise tasks, to manage multiple demands and to work to deadlines.

We are looking to recruit a Benefits and Money Advisor to work alongside the existing Advice team to make a real difference to people’s lives. Main Duties
- To offer face to face benefits, money, debt and energy advice, with clients to help with benefit issues , energy, budgeting and any debt.
- To discuss other LW services that may benefit the client i.e Handy women home visit or Talking therapies referral.
- To support and mentor other staff on project
- To have sessions that will include helpful energy and money saving ideas and refer where necessary for the Handy women home assessment.
- Attending networking and community events to promote the services of the Energy and Money Advice Team and educate people on matters such as energy-saving measures, local initiatives, the benefits of Smart Meter instillation and budgeting advice.
- To deliver workshops to service users to empower them to make positive energy/money saving decisions that can support both their immediate financial and mental wellbeing, whilst giving them the tools to deal more effectively with their long-term financial future.
- To manage personal caseloads and diaries effectively using SharePoint, Excel, Outlook and our CRM system to keep all client records updated in a timely manner and ensure that all relevant targets and objectives of the role, and wider team, are met.
General Duties
- To ensure that required standards of health and safety are maintained and that safeguarding issues are addressed appropriately.
- To work flexibly as and when required and support colleagues in the wider team to ensure that working relationships are maintained, workloads are managed effectively and ultimately that our service users are given the best possible advice and support that can be offered.
- Participate in organisational activities for example, team meetings, development days, etc.
- Treat all staff, volunteers and service users fairly.
- To uphold the policies and ethos of Lancashire Women at all times.

Key accountabilities:
Alumni Programme Research & Development:
- To assist with the identification of and engagement with the wider alumni community
- To implement a range of activities to engage with Rank’s alumni community;
- To design, plan and deliver Fellowship events, webinars, and other programmes that promote networking and professional development opportunities among Fellows/alumni;
- To create and develop relationships with the Fellows/alumni to increase involvement in the Foundation’s activities;
- To administer the mentoring programme connecting older Fellows with younger ones at the beginning of their professional careers;
- To liaise with the Comms team to raise the social media profile of the Rank Fellowship Alumni Network;
- To serve as the primary point of contact for alumni inquiries, communications, and requests;
- To be the secretariat for the Fellows Leadership Team, drafting agendas, minute taking, and following up on actions
- To design, plan and deliver School Leadership events with support from the Finance & Operations Officer
Data & Reporting:
- Manage the Fellowship database, ensuring it is kept up to date
- Send out digital surveys, monitor and track key deliverables;
- Collect achievements and contributions from Fellows to showcase impact;
- Collate and prepare reports based on survey outcomes to assess the effectiveness of the programme.

We are an early intervention programme supporting 13-25 year olds around self-harming and risk taking behaviours, in order to help them achieve positive outcomes.
One position will be based within our Community Pathway which will be predominantly based in West / North Kent. The other position will be based within our School Pathway in Kent. The role will require the use of a car in order to travel. Please note this is a fixed-term position until August 2025.
The hours for these roles are 1 x full-time (37.5 hours per week). The other is part-time (30 hours per week).
This role is predominantly based from home with the occasional travel across Kent and to our office in Faversham. Flexible working hours are also considered and can be discussed at the interview. The advertised salary banding is based on experience and qualifications.

As a Mind and Body Practitioner you will provide community based support, information, training, education and guidance to young individuals in relation to self-harm and risk taking behaviour. You will be committed to improving access to appropriate services for young service users with mental health issues, specifically self-harm and risk taking behaviours.
As our Mind and Body Practitioner you will deliver continuity of care through effective partnership working and support the day to day operation of services through the delivery of appropriate evidence based treatment interventions. You will manage an active caseload providing structured psychosocial interventions and harm minimisation strategies to young persons, and assist in the delivery of an integrated service through the provision of assessment, recovery planning, appropriate referral, support and interventions.
You will develop and disseminate emotional and mental wellbeing information, advice and health and social wellbeing in both group and one to one settings and screen for emotional wellbeing.

Required Skills

- IT skills, including Word, Outlook, Excel, PowerPoint and digital media.
