You’ll be a strategic and political thinker, bringing experience of leading or delivering successful policy and advocacy strategies, with an understanding of the UK Government and their policy processes, as well as on the tactics and approaches required to influence them. With strong project coordination skills, you’ll be a champion for partnership with young people, and feel confident to build on your expertise in managing key relationships, including within senior government. Your well-developed research and analysis skills means you are equipped to produce evidence-based and influential policy positions, alongside communications to a wide range of audiences.

A London-based Museum is seeking a Head of Finance to oversee the running of the finance directorate. This is a key role in the Museum, leading the finances from all aspects including budgeting and financial planning, oversight of day to day financial operations, and year end processes. The role is available owing to an internal secondment and therefore is offered on an 18 - 24 month duration. We are currently seeking a self-motivating and outgoing Case Worker to join our team. The successful candidate will primarily work within HMP Brixton, providing essential support to men preparing for release and continuing to assist them as they reintegrate into the community across London. This role is central to our mission to empower those leaving prison and resettling in London to transform their lives through mentoring, advocacy, and peer support. This role will involve confidently mixing on the prison wing, to identify and recruit individuals (potential members) who would benefit from Change for Good’s services.

Change for Good Community Chaplaincy Limited (CfG), a registered charity since 2012, is a volunteer mentoring charity that works across London supporting prison-leavers before and after their release from prison and as they resettle in the community. We do this through our ‘through the gate’ work, volunteer mentoring, and liaising with many organisations and support groups across the criminal justice sector (see www.changeforgood.info).

We are looking for a Case Worker to join our small team at a very exciting time of growth for our charity. The last 4 years have seen Change for Good go from a mentoring project in HMP Wandsworth to an innovative resettlement charity serving 4 prisons, our Next Chapter peer support group and mentoring relationships across London.

Our office is based in Stockwell. The Case worker will be required to travel to locations across London each week.

The work will include:

● Being a source of information on what prison organisations/services are available to clients and volunteers

● Identifying those who can gain from our support, engaging them, assessing needs and risks

● Matching clients to volunteers, tracking progress

● Enabling peer support group(s) and their development

● Building and maintaining relationships with Prisons, Probation and other key stakeholders

The successful candidate will have:

● Experience of working with offenders and ex-offenders in prison or in the community

● Confidence in engaging one-to-one, communicating what’s on offer while making an informed assessment of suitability

● An understanding of the criminal justice system (or homelessness, addiction, mental health, community work etc) and the role of befriending / mentoring in enabling change for good

● Resilience to work effectively in a challenging environment: in prison and outside, with those who have left prison

Role Profile

You’ll act as the first point of contact for client referrals from North Lincolnshire Councils Adult Services. Clients will have already received a full assessment by the Adult Services team to identify and meet their personal care needs. You’ll ensure service data and local intelligence is captured and communicated to inform the review, revision and development of interventions to meet needs, strengthen community and individual resilience and help to develop and grow accessible and sustainable activities and services that address the wider determinants of health and reduce health inequalities.

DOTW UK has a small, high-performing and dynamic services team dedicated to delivering high quality, person-centred healthcare in a fast-paced environment, ensuring exceptional personal and team performance.

We are looking for a GP with experience of providing healthcare to excluded groups outside of regular healthcare settings to play a key clinical role in the development and delivery of services that will support equal access to primary medical services for people seeking asylum in contingency accommodation in Northeast London and delivery of primary care within a HIV outreach project. The outreach services will offer initial health and social assessments, urgent care, and will facilitate GP registration and, and support access to wider healthcare and support services within the area through direct referrals and signposting, and coordination with other local services and partners. We also will deliver HIV support and testing services including clinical consultation to those not registered with a GP.

You will lead by example, with your demonstrable experience delivering person-centred, compassionate care to people seeking asylum or other excluded community, as well as deploying your effective advocacy, coordination, and multi-tasking skills. The role requires emotional agility, and resilience, especially when dealing with complex situations such as mental health crises, trafficking, and homelessness, where you will draw on your experience to manage complex situations calmly and compassionately. You will be someone who thrives in a dynamic, fast-paced environment, is committed to high standards of care, and will be able to work productively and constructively within a close-knit team by demonstrating an open and responsive attitude and using your excellent communication skills.

You will have strong IT skills and ideally a driving licence to be able to support us to deliver our services in our dedicated mobile clinic vans. You will have the skills to work independently and manage your own and volunteers' health and safety, sometimes working alone.
