Role Requirements
As part of the site services team the role holder will be expected to liaise with managers and staff across the Trust. The role holder is expected to work closely with the other members of the facilities team and assist in covering in the laundry, in the deep clean team or other works as and when required.
Site wide general housekeeping service – ensure that the housekeeping services is of an acceptable level and is consistent across site.
- Carry out a cleaning service in allocated buildings/rooms/areas ensuring that daily tasks are completed according to the standard operating procedures in relation to the cleanliness/hygiene standards.
- Follow infection control procedures whenever carrying out duties and ensure procedures are followed should there be an infection control outbreak.
- Liaise with the Housekeeping Supervisor and House Staff on a daily basis – carrying out special requests in relation to Housekeeping.
- Ensure safe storage of cleaning materials and equipment and sufficient stock is maintained – informing the Housekeeping Supervisor of stock requiring ordering.
- Assist in the cleaning of communal areas on a daily basis and cleaning of carpets, curtains, and high dusting on a rotating schedule.
- Ensure that any repairs required to fixtures and fittings are reported to the designated Facilities Helpdesk as soon as possible and any issues are reported to the Housekeeping Supervisor.
- Assist in routine housekeeping audits as outlined in the planned preventative maintenance (PPM) schedules and ensure any works are to agreed service levels.
- Prioritise work to complete assignments in a timely manner.
- Assist other members of the Site Services and Facilities teams as required.
- Undertake other or additional duties that are within your skills and abilities, as the organisation may reasonably require from time to time.

Responsibilities and Person Specification:
Working closely with the CEO, the Director of Policy and Influencing and the Head of Influencing, the Head of Policy and Research will lead an ambitious programme of research and policy development - with the experience of older people in poverty at the core - to secure change on reserved policy issues across the UK. The Head of Policy and Research will work proactively, collaboratively and strategically with internal and external stakeholders to secure support for our policy and practice recommendations and make them a reality. They will provide effective, inspirational, transparent and compassionate leadership and line management to colleagues in the Policy and Research department. This is one of two new roles in our well established Policy and Influencing Directorate, building on our commitment to drive forward policy change that tackles poverty in later life.
You should have a passion to tackle poverty in later life, significant experience leading and evaluating large and complex programmes of strategic policy work and devising creative and workable policy solutions that are adopted by UK Government, businesses and/or regulators. It’s also essential to be an experienced line manager and team player, collaborating with internal and external stakeholders across the nations to secure policy change.

We are seeking to appoint an experienced and dynamic Head of Fundraising & Communications who will join our senior leadership team and will have overall accountability for Trust’s fundraising, marketing and communications strategies.
You will need to be a skilled and strategic leader with strong interpersonal and management skills and a proven track record in senior level fundraising. You will also have experience in communications and promoting the brand of an organisation.
Reporting directly to the Chief Executive Officer, this pivotal role will work closely with the wider senior management team (SMT) and inspire and lead the Trust’s fundraising, marketing and communications team.
MAIN DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
This role’s primary responsibilities will be as follows:
Strategic Development and Implementation
· Provide leadership, strategy and direction for the Trust’s fundraising, marketing and communications team comprising 15 in the UK and 3 in Nepal.
· Be part of the Senior Management Team (SMT), contributing to the Trust’s wider vision and strategic direction as well as provide updates and reports for the SMT and Trustees.
· As the organisational expert on fundraising, work closely with the Trust CEO and SMT to ensure that fundraising and marketing respond to and reflect the vision and agreed priorities of the Trust.
Fundraising
· Implement the Trust’s five-year fundraising strategy (income c.£14m pa), and be accountable for the delivery of operational plans, defining targets and identifying new sources of income.
· Develop and implement fundraising policies and procedures ensuring all fundraising remains safe and legal.
· Create a donor-centric culture within the Trust, implementing an accurate and robust system to deliver effective supporter journeys across all disciplines – individual giving, major donor, legacy, trust and corporate, and community fundraising.
· Keep abreast of current fundraising trends and standards as well as historic analysis of our own activities to optimise all fundraising approaches.
Communications and Marketing
· Lead the development of the Trust’s marketing and communications strategy and annual marketing programme, reviewing them to achieve the Trust’s aims and objectives.
· Develop and oversee the Trust’s social media strategy, both as a communication and a marketing tool.
· Oversee the Trust’s website, ensuring accessible content, a strong visitor experience and increasing donations via the site.
· Oversee the flow of project and general information between Nepal and the UK enabling effective proposals and reports.
Budgeting and Reporting
· Manage the annual fundraising, marketing and communications budgets.
· Work closely with the Head of Finance and the Finance team in Nepal to agree the details and split of unrestricted and restricted projects to be funded each year.

The RSAA has been changing rapidly in the last few years and you will be joining the team at an exciting time, as we approach our 125th anniversary in 2026.
Membership administration is the core of this diverse role and there is some scope to shape it to the strengths of the successful applicant. You will be seen by the members of the Society as their principal point of contact and the ability to build relationships with them will be important. You will be joining a very small team. Collaborative working is essential, as are meticulous attention to detail and the ability to work with relatively light supervision once settled into the role. About the role
Project Scotland, part of the national charity Volunteering Matters, supports young people to get on in life through the power of volunteering. Brighter futures work with pupils (aged 13-16), we offer disadvantaged pupils struggling to engage with the regular school curriculum the opportunity to undertake a volunteering placement as well as the option of having a mentor. We support and empower pupils to gain skills and confidence in a new environment within the wider community, promoting a sense of belonging, whilst extending horizons and aspirations.

'In this role, you will support the implementation of WaterAid Nigeria's country strategy and more specifically, Lagos Universality Programme by ensuring that all activities are properly included in realistic and achievable annual plans and to lead on the effective monitoring of progress of Lagos programme implementation against objectives.

- Support Lagos State Team Lead in the development and implementation of annual plans in line with budgets and programme strategy
- Provide strategic support in managing the implementation system strengthening processes that builds sustainability of institutions and stakeholders in the state.
- Provide technical and operational guidance/capacity strengthening to partner organizations on field monitoring, survey activities and database management in connection with WaterAid Lagos sub office supported projects and programmes.
- Proactively monitor the Lagos Universality Programme as well and actively contribute to monitoring the overall CP's Country Strategy and operational plan to promote the review and achievement of the CP strategic objectives.
- Generate organisational learning from monitoring and evaluation activities, document lessons learnt/case studies and share organisational learning with potential audiences and users - both internal and external to promote and replicate best practices across the organisation and sector.
Act as a super-user of the WaterAid Programme System software and its application; support its development, aligning it with global systems and core procedures. - Ensure colleagues are trained and competent in its use, providing advice and support to others.
To be successful, you'll need to meet the following criteria.
- University Degree in Economics, Development Studies, Statistics, Research or other related field
- 8 years post NYSC experience in planning, monitoring and evaluation preferably in a WASH focused INGO.
- Good understanding of project planning cycle and management cycles

- Experience of M&E in the water, sanitation & hygiene (WASH) sector

Somerset Sight, your local sight loss charity, is expanding. We are looking for a positive can- do person with passion and energy to raise the charity’s profile whilst supporting our face to face service provision throughout the county.

The role:
An exciting opportunity has arisen within the Income Generation team at Bluebell Wood and we are now on the lookout for a dynamic and driven individual to develop and manage the organisation prize-led fundraising income streams.
Bluebell Wood’s weekly lottery and seasonal raffles are crucial for our care funds. Using your strategic thinking and commercial experience, you will oversee prize-led development and operations, ensuring targeted income levels are achieved in line with relevant governance.
The successful candidate will work alongside the Individual Giving Manager to implement strategies to ensure participation grows year on year in alignment with the business plan, whilst also working to both maximize the net contribution of all Bluebell Wood gambling products and to develop new products with this donor audience in mind.

Ein nod yw darparu proses recriwtio gynhwysol ac rydym ni’n arbennig o barod i groesawu ceisiadau o gronfeydd talent amrywiol: ymgeiswyr o leiafrifoedd ethnig, ymgeiswyr ag anableddau a chyflyrau hirdymor ac ymgeiswyr o gymunedau heb gynrychiolaeth ddigonol.
Rydym wedi ymrwymo i gyfleoedd cyfartal a hoffem sicrhau bod gennym broses ymgeisio sy’n hygyrch i bob ymgeisydd. Os oes angen unrhyw addasiadau rhesymol arnoch neu os hoffech chi i ni wneud unrhyw beth yn wahanol yn ystod y broses ymgeisio, cysylltwch â’n tîm Adnoddau Dynol.
