The Activities and Events Administrator plays a vital role at Blesma, contributing to a small, dynamic team that delivers an engaging program of sporting and social activities to support Members' rehabilitation and well-being. This role will work alongside the Head of Activities on the Fulfilling Pathways programme, funded by the Armed Forces Compensation Scheme, to provide therapeutic activities. Key duties:

Role Overview
You will be integral to achieving our strategic priorities of generating income through repeat support, and providing exceptional supporter journeys for our community, ensuring they feel valued and engaged.
The role involves providing excellent customer care and engaging, involving and inspiring all supporters of Crohn’s and Colitis UK through building excellent relationships via a variety of communication channels. The post-holder will be integral to achieving strategic Income Generation priorities, including raising funds from supporters through exceptional standards of supporter stewardship, and to deliver administrative support for the wider team.
About You
You will have experience of working in a similar role, providing a high standard of customer care in a fast-paced environment, handling supporter queries and providing information in a concise and comprehensive manner. You'll need strong written and verbal communication skills to write engaging and inspiring content and messaging, you'll also be skilled at listening and responding to queries appropriately and be comfortable and effective at managing challenging situations.
You will have the ability to manage a busy workload and deadlines whilst taking ownership of problems to find a solution where possible, escalating to a manager where required.

Our Location
We are based in Hatfield, Hertfordshire, so we are easily accessible by road and rail. In this role, there is plenty of scope for working from home, although you will need to be in the office for two days a week minimum. There will also be other times when you’ll need to be in the office for fulfilment tasks or to attend meetings such as our ‘All Staff Together’ days four times a year and you will also be required to attend fundraising events.

Job summary and purpose
The Trust Administrator is responsible for maintaining the core administrative functions of the Trust to ensure the smooth operation of the charity, enabling its mission to ensure healthy rivers for wildlife and people.
Reporting directly to the Chief Executive, the Trust Administrator will work with a range of internal and external contacts to ensure routine business functions, human and physical resources, supporter and governance liaison are working well. Key Accountabilities
- Promptly answer queries from candidates, employers, and stakeholders, and escalate as appropriate.

- Deliver regular reporting of results to large firms, ensuring compliance with data protection regulations.
- Use CRM queries to extract information and compile reports for committees and councils.
- Update and maintain qualification areas on the website and related student communications.
- Act as Committee Secretary, organising meetings, preparing papers, and writing minutes.
- Support sub-committees, including preparing agendas, papers, and minutes.
- Manage and support champions, maintaining relationships with key international partners.
- Collaborate with marketing and business development teams to support employer and stakeholder objectives.
- Contribute to student testimonial initiatives and the organisation of conferences and events.
- Engage in digital and social media activities throughout the student journey.
