This is an important role overseeing the day-to-day running of the museum and site and leading some of the organisation’s core business functions, including finance, commercial and operations. The post holder will develop a motivated staff and volunteer community, continuously seeking to improve the quality of the visitor offer and increase the commercial success of the museum.

The Relationship Fundraising team at Alzheimer’s Research UK (ARUK) is responsible for securing income from individuals, regional businesses and groups fundraising in the community, effectively managing relationships to maximise income.
The Relationship Fundraising role will play a significant part in contributing to a high-performing fundraising team. The role will cover area of West London.
You will report to the Relationship Fundraising Manager and support the Head of Relationship Fundraising & Volunteering to drive the continued growth of the charity’s fundraising income in your area. You will also be required to show excellent relationship-building skills to support community partnerships and volunteer groups, driving towards agreed targets.
Key Responsibilities:
Strategy, finance, and reporting
· Responsibility for stewardship and relationship building with supporters within the region.
· Identify and apply for ‘Charity of the Year’ partnerships with corporates in the region, account manage these relationships up to a value of £50,000 per annum and support the Partnership Development Team with national partnerships in your region.
· Support existing volunteer fundraisers to encourage continued loyalty to the charity and to maximise funds raised, in accordance with fundraising legislation and good practice.

This post contributes to Connexional-wide learning and development initiatives, and is specifically aligned with the Wales Synod Cymru District as the Welsh speaking Learning and Development Officer (LDO) and the new West Midlands District following the merger of the current Birmingham District and the Wolverhampton and Shrewsbury District on 1st September 2025. The Role
Children’s online safety is both an important and an urgent issue and the need for our unique work here at Breck Foundation is greater now than ever. The primary purpose of this role is to help children and young people take practical steps to become more digitally resilient and be safer online. Our East of England Education Programme Officer will introduce the highly impactful Breck’s story into schools and other youth and community spaces and deliver inspiring, educational talks to students, parents and guardians, teachers and other groups in a ‘whole community’ approach.
The role is fully remote, but post holder will be willing and able to easily travel to various locations within the East of England as and when necessary to fulfil the requirements of the role as well as to engage with colleagues virtually and in person in London four times a year.
Main Duties and Responsibilities
Programme Delivery
- Coordinate all practical arrangements necessary for successful delivery and post-delivery activities in schools, including the timely transmission of digital files; and liaising with relevant colleagues to ensure timely delivery of materials and promotional merchandise to schools.
- Responsibility for delivering sessions tailored to educate/inform children/parents and teachers as well as carrying out all pre- and post-delivery engagements.
- Respond to any questions, disclosures or safeguarding concerns raised during sessions and follow up where necessary with the school safeguarding team or, where consent is secured, make onward referrals for additional support in specific cases.

Programme Officer (UK) – Role Description
Working closely with and reporting to the President and CEO of Civis Foundation (US and UK), the UK Programme Officer will support the Foundation with the launch and scaling up of its operations in the UK.
The Programme Officer will be responsible for the day-to-day operations of the UK Foundation, relationship development, and project management. The management of the initial activity of the Foundation in the UK will include:

Relationship building: Extensive outreach to potential partners across arts, preservation, municipal, and community sectors in London, Liverpool, Jamaica, and Barbados. Secure introductions and meetings for the President and CEO, and explore potential programme collaborations.

Partner collaboration: Work with strategic consulting partners to support business planning and programme development.

Operating budget and core grant application development: Prepare a comprehensive grant request to Civis Foundation New York for initial capitalization, including a three-year operational budget.

Financial management and reporting: Support preparation of annual accounts, supplier management and payments, and monitor budgets and cash flow.

Operational and administrative support: Work with the President and CEO of Civis Foundation and other relevant staff and consultants on ad-hoc administrative support, meetings and diary coordination, and to put in place systems and processes for the full launch of the UK operations.

Evaluation and monitoring: Develop a "light-touch" but effective framework for measuring impact and tracking relevant metrics.
Key competencies and required skillset to succeed in this role include:

Actual Salary: £42,000-£47,600 a year for 25 hours per week (0.7 FTE) pro rata.
Working hours: 25 hours per week. Flexible, with some adjustment to both UK and US time zones.
Annual leave: 22 days (28 days including bank holidays, pro rata.)
Pension: 8% employer contribution.
Hybrid working: remote/working from home, with regular access to a coworking/office space in London and for attendance of in-person meetings in London.

About the role
We are recruiting for a Legacy Giving Officer to join on a full-time basis, working 35 hours per week on a permanent contract. This is a home-based role, within South East England (covering Kent, West Sussex, East Sussex, Hampshire & Surrey), with frequent travel across the region and to our Head Office in Central London.
As Legacy Giving Officer you will be responsible for developing and managing all legacy giving activities within the South East region. You’ll represent the Society, raise our profile and promote legacy giving in the region. You’ll work collaboratively across departments and directorates at all levels to maximise promotion of legacy giving opportunities to both internal and external audiences.
You’ll be the lead contact for the warmest legacy enquiries in the region and though a framework of excellent stewardship, you will ensure that supporters are converted up through the legacy cycle. In this role you’ll be the trusted guide for individuals considering leaving a gift in their will, helping them feel valued, informed, and inspired every step of the way.
Interviews for this role have been provisionally scheduled to take place on Friday 6th and Monday 9th February.
About you
Joining us, you will have good customer service skills with experience in a sales, marketing, fundraising or similar role, with the ability to interact positively with a wide range of audiences. Crucially, you’ll have experience building rapport with others, with the confidence to network, speak publicly and communicate effectively with a wide range of people. - Responding to enquiries from supporters in the region interested in leaving a gift in their will or wanting to know more about our will writing offers by phone, email or via in-person meetings in an agreed time frame.
- Planning, delivering, hosting and presenting at legacy events including post-event follow up stewardship activity.
- Developing and implementing new regional opportunities to promote legacy giving both internally and externally.
- Meeting agreed annual targets relating to legacy promotion and will writing promotion and the number of promised legacies from individual supporters.
- Developing and delivering the stewardship plan ensuring ongoing engagement with all legators and enquirers by upgrading and conversion through the legacy cycle: enquirer, considerer, intender, pledger.
- Identifying and establishing relationships with key Ambassadors who are passionate about legacy giving.
