The Role
These roles provide a high quality, specialist service to victims of sexual violence including provision of one to one therapy for children up to the age of 18 or adults over 18. You will support the provision of therapeutic assessments to clients across Derbyshire who have been referred to the Therapy Service either through self-referral, or other external pathways.
Working within a multi-agency setting, you will provide an empathetic and pro-active therapy service to child victims of sexual abuse aged 0-17yrs and their families, or adult victims , within and outside of the criminal justice system, including pre-trial therapy no matter when the abuse occurred.
This role is part of the Therapy Service which comprises of a team of Adult and Children’s Therapists offering counselling, therapy, support groups, parent support sessions and other therapeutic interventions to victims of sexual violence and secondary survivors.
About You
With a minimum of a recognised qualification in counselling or psychotherapy to at least Diploma Level 4, you will have undergone safeguarding training and have extensive knowledge and awareness of rape, sexual abuse, rape trauma syndrome and their effects within the therapeutic setting.
You will be able to foster strong therapeutic alliances, including with parents of children and hold a registration with BACP or similar professional body.
You will have 300 hours post qualifying counselling practice and a minimum of two years’ experience working specifically with either of these client groups.

The Head Gardener is responsible for the maintenance and nurturing of the garden, which was planted by local residents, and in developing a programme for volunteers that supports with this maintenance. - Ongoing care and maintenance of the plants and garden to ensure the successful development of the garden in line with Sarah Price’s vision.
- Liaising with Sarah Price Landscapes about changes, upkeep, and development of the garden.
- Helping co-ordinate with Sarah Price and The Exchange any additional planting.
- Creation of opportunities for interaction with the public who visit the garden.
- Establish and manage The Exchange’s sustainable compost programme.

Volunteer management
Community involvement is an essential part of what we do at The Exchange. Currently this involves a growing Volunteer Programme, where people come and learn skills from talented craftspeople, becoming part of “Making Communities”, in exchange for giving time in creating things For Community Use and/or Benefit.
In relation to the garden, volunteers are supported through skills development and learning opportunities and give their time towards the garden’s ongoing maintenance and/or enabling wider public interaction. Participation in this programme also creates other benefits including social and wellbeing. We believe that time spent with volunteers/local community sharing skills and experience is an important investment and it will be your responsibility to ensure the volunteer team is supported and valued.Key responsibilities include:

You will be working in one of three London properties alongside a large multi-agency staff team made up of experts by experience/profession in psychology and therapy; youth work; offending; education, training, and employment (ETE) and housing. The service will work creatively and holistically to enable young people to exit environments involving youth violence, identify and reach their goals and aspirations, move on successfully to appropriate independent living, and importantly to sustain this life. Wherever possible staff and young people will co-produce what this service looks like and what activities the young people engage in. About the team
We ensure that our clients are supported to gain and retain safe, decent and affordable accommodation. A stable home is a key factor in successful rehabilitation and breaking the cycle of re-offending. We work holistically with clients, alongside multiple agencies.
Nationally we aim to influence the Government and MOJ to bring about systemic change, so that people in the criminal justice system can access better housing. We also work with housing providers and local authorities to achieve change at a local level.
About the role
You will complete an Initial Needs Assessment (INA) with each client, having a detailed discussion with them to outline their situation and the support they need. A strengths-based approach is used to identify the positive attributes that they can build upon to achieve their goals and is reflected in the design of the INA. Working together with your client, you will map out and agree a set of interventions and the outcomes needed, encouraging and empowering them to actively contribute towards their goals.
You will carry a fluctuating case load of service users with varying levels of needs. The focus of the service is to support the desistance model, supporting individuals to achieve their full potential.
The position will be based in HMP Lincoln, with other locations and travel expected when needed across the National Probation Service Region in Lincolnshire.
About You
You have considerable experience of advocating for clients to agencies and authorities and have a track record of successful outcomes and challenging when needed. You can adapt complex information into practical plans and proactively manage your caseload. Motivating and encouraging your clients will be a key part of the role, as well the ability to build rapport, trust and actively listen to their needs. As you will be working closely with clients, a sound understanding of professional boundaries is crucial.

Severn Wye is looking for a talented individual to empower people and communities living in rural areas to act on climate change
Energised Communities will support communities that don’t traditionally engage with climate issues, bringing them together for action-oriented discussions about energy and its impact on climate change. Communities will identify local challenges, establish what people care about and explore solutions. The project will provide inspiration for what’s possible and give communities the tools to make it happen. We will support communities in the long term, recognising that building the ideas, skills and confidence to see projects through takes time. The project will help communities take more control over their energy futures, creating opportunities for green skills, local employment and community regeneration.

This is five-year programme funded by The National Lottery Community Fund (TNLCF) working in 10 disadvantaged rural communities in Wales and England. You will be providing support and inspiration for community-led action that focuses on reducing energy use and generating clean energy: the aim is to reduce carbon emissions, increase community resilience and improve long-term sustainability.

We are looking for someone with:
· An ability to engage diverse groups of stakeholders, represent ideas and to communicate proposals persuasively and creatively to communities, practitioners and managers alike.
· Proven expertise and experience of stimulating and enabling community action through coproduction with a number of community, social enterprise and/or other third sector groups.
· Knowledge, being enthusiastic about and committed to collective action on climate change.
· Strong facilitation skills to support; group development with reflection and persistence and project delivery with an ability to deliver results in challenging circumstances.
· Ability to multi-task and manage own workload efficiently with minimum supervision, within a team.
· Driving licence and access to own car.

Travel to regular face to face meetings and events including evenings and weekends within these communities is essential.
Desirable skills and experience include
– A strong background in community development, sustainable development, or rural regeneration with up-to-date knowledge and understanding of any of the following: climate change, climate action, social inequality issues and wider and deeper sustainable development issues in rural Wales/England
– Excellent interpersonal skills and people management skills, capable of clearly communicating agreed direction, priorities and objectives
– Ability to solve problems in a collaborative and creative way using the resources of diverse groups of people and agencies
– Experience of formalising and constituting new organisations
– Experience in preparing funding applications and a track record of securing project funding
– Good knowledge of, and an ability to form, effective working relationships across the public, private and third sectors
– Written and spoken Welsh language skills (where necessary)
– Good verbal, written and presentation skills, including the ability to write high quality reports

We have an exciting new opportunity for a Finance Assistant to join our life-saving charity.
Working across the Finance Team, the role will be responsible for supporting the finance function of the charity ensuring a high standard of service to the department’s internal and external customers.
Your responsibilities will include processing the income transactions, raising invoices and processing expenditure transactions. The role will also involve supporting staff in raising purchase requests and performing reconciliations of the Charity and trading subsidiary’s purchase and sales ledgers.
You will be a good communicator and will be working with colleagues across Finance, Supporter Engagement and Fundraising to ensure income is posted to the correct areas to ensure supporters are properly thanked for their generosity.
The successful candidate will have good team working skills, excellent attention to detail and be a natural problem solver. You will have experience working in an office environment, be IT literate and familiar with Microsoft Office software.

We are looking for an Administration Officer who shares our vision to ‘Creating a more sustainable world where all children can thrive’.
The post holder will be responsible for the day-to-day running of the OASES office, administration and equipment.
The successful candidate will be organised and proactive and will work well with the OASES team. They will have good ICT skills, specifically to help maintain OASES promotion, including website, social media and email accounts/mailouts. They will help the OASES team to get out, maintain and put away equipment and create/print/laminate and cut out resources.
The ideal candidate will provide excellent front of house service and will be friendly and welcoming to visitors and callers.
Enhanced DBS disclosure will be required.
