You will lead Woman’s Trust income generation ensuring adequate income to sustain and grow the organisation, increasing its income from £1.3 Million to £3 Million in the next 3 years. While raising funds from multiple income streams, focus growths areas will be statutory and Trust and foundation funding securing six-figure, multiple-year grants and contracts. You will effectively communicate our services and campaign our aims aligned to our strategic priorities.
You will oversee the development and implementation of the fundraising strategy and the funding pipeline; ensure the maintenance and development of excellent relationships with current and new funders, stewarding grants and reporting back; review, update and develop service budgets; oversee the submission or coordination of quality bids, approaches, and events.
As a member of the senior leadership team, this post will work cross departmentally and will contribute to the overall strategy of Woman’s Trust, working closely with the CEO and the Board of Trustees. You will lead and line manage the Senior Trust and Foundation Manager and Fundraising Officer. You will deliver a direct income target for each year, with a focus on the development and tendering of statutory commissioning.
Hours: 35 hours per week (28 hours will be considered).
Location: Office based with remote working available – minimum of 50% of working hours in Woman’s Trust Office, Edgware Road/Paddington, NW1.

We are seeking an experienced Senior Debt Adviser who has a proven track record in helping and assisting clients facing financial difficulties and providing creative solutions to help alleviate their challenges in a sensitive and supportive role. They will have an awareness of having successfully provided debt advice in a regulated environment. They will have experience of supporting and supervising a team, and monitoring their performance to ensure this remains in line with internal and external requirements.
The successful candidate would be expected to work a hybrid model of delivery - in an office environment, outreach sessions as well as home based. They would be expected to provide advice via omni-channels such as face to face, telephone and email advice.
Main Responsibilities:
● Provide casework covering the full range of debt - Interviewing those that access our service using sensitive listening and questioning skills in order to allow them to explain their problem(s) and empower them to set their own priorities.
● Researching and exploring options and implications so that those accessing our service can make informed decisions
● Ensuring income maximisation through the appropriate take up of income, including those relating to water charges, benefits, tax and housing
● Providing in-depth quality advice and on-going casework, including acting for the client where necessary using appropriate communication skills and channels
● Maintaining detailed case records, ensuring that all work meets all auditing and quality standards and the requirements of the funder

About the role
The Programmes Administrator will be in charge of the smooth running of 1MM Mentoring Programmes in Greater Manchester and other regions, including the supporting of mentors & mentees through their journey. - Daylight – short term, outreach support
- A&E Crisis Support in Watford and Lister Hospitals (in partnership with Mid Herts Mind)
This role is leading a team of coordinators and support workers to provide excellent support within a small 4 bed crisis centre in Hemel Hempstead, which is a short stay provision, usually 3 or 4 nights, to provide;
- emotional support
- support to develop coping strategies, support plans and safety plans
- ensuring robust discharge plans in place for on-going support
Key Accountabilities
- On occasion, provide emotional support, advice, signposting, assessing risk, support planning for clients in mental health crisis often where risks are significant.
- Overseeing and ensuring the delivery of appropriate needs and risk assessments and support planning for clients.
- Liaise with statutory agencies to ensure appropriate intervention is obtained.
- Organising a rota to ensure appropriate service cover is in place at all times across the Nightlight Crisis Centre provision.
- Contribute to an on-call service, on rotational basis, usually every 8 weeks, taking calls outside of 9am to 5pm Monday to Friday providing staff support.
- Representing Nightlight and wider HMN at external meetings, and network locally to develop contacts, services and raise Herts Mind Network’s profile.
- Manage budgets, expenses, payroll as well as facilities needed for the centre
- Supporting the Crisis manager with developing and ensuring ongoing positive relationship with external NHS, local authority and emergency services including Crisis Resolution Home Treatment Teams, Single Point of Access, Safeguarding Out of Hours Service, Mental Health Liaison Teams, Adult Community Mental Health Services etc.
- Provide management support to Crisis Centre Coordinators and support the Crisis Manager in ensuring practice within the service is safe, effective and person centred, as well as supporting the implementation of strategic service plans.

Summary job description
As the Director of Programme Performance, you will be pivotal in leading a team responsible for the design, implementation, and management of monitoring, evaluation, and learning (MEL) systems. Schools Coordinator
We have an exciting and rewarding opportunity for a Schools Coordinator (Impact Officer) to work as the primary link between partner schools and the CYUK programme.
This youth social action charity challenges 18 to 25-year-olds to tackle educational inequality through a year of full-time social action. As mentors, tutors and role models in schools, they support pupils growing up in some of the most disadvantaged areas of the UK.
Position: Schools Coordinator (internal title School Impact Officer)
Location: RM8 3EX. 2 days per week from this location
Training Location: E1 6EG -1 day per week, Friday, at this location. With occasional working from home.
Hours: Part - Time, for 3 days per week. Normal working hours are 8:00 - 4:30, Monday to Friday. Working Fridays is essential, the other days are flexible.
Work Schedule: Term-time working (except the second half of August)
Salary: £29,144 per annum pro rata
Duration: Permanent
Start Date: January 2024. We hope to include ad-hoc induction days/half days (all paid) in December 2024, to be agreed upon with the candidate.

The Role
We have a rewarding opportunity for a School Impact Officer to train, support and develop volunteers and monitor the programme through effective administration, data management and to build a deep partnership between the school and the charity.
The Impact Officer is based predominantly in a school and is the primary link between the partner schools and the programme and is the enabler of the programme delivery. You will support a team of volunteer mentors, who support school activities by coordinating, managing and evaluating the programme.
The Volunteer Mentors also complete a Leadership and Development programme and you will work with them on a professional development plan to chart their continuous professional development and ready them for employment.
The role is primarily a school-based post from Monday to Thursday and is office based on most Fridays. See locations above.
About You
To be successful in this role you will need to be passionate about social change and serving a great cause. As the School Impact Officer, you will strive for excellence and support the core vision and values of the charity.
You will have:
· Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
· Strong supervision skills, able to connect and communicate effectively with a broad range of stakeholders
· The ability to understand school leadership priorities
· Flexibility in your approach to meet volunteers and pupils developmental needs
· The ability to cope well with multiple demands and to ask for support in ambiguous situations
· Ability to prioritise work to meet tight deadlines delegate appropriately and apply problem-solving skills effectively
· Good IT knowledge
· A proactive attitude, with the ability to use initiative and a professional manner and approach
Whilst not essential experience of working in a school or with schools would be an advantage in this role.

We are an award-winning charity supporting children and young people in care, kinship care, those transitioning to independent living, and care leavers. We also provide support for foster and kinship carers.
In 2017, we featured on a BBC1 DIY SOS & Children in Need special, which resulted in our beautiful centre with three semi-independent living flats attached. Our bespoke and holistic Transition to Independent Living programme helps young people aged 16-19 gain essential independent living skills as they prepare to leave care.

About You

Your Main Responsibilities:
- Leadership & Management: Build strong working relationships, providing leadership and management for the staff team of 12 plus volunteers.
- Operational Management: Oversee the day-to-day management and running of the Centre.
- Service Delivery: Ensure high-quality activities and programmes are provided, seeking and acting on feedback from service users.
- Stakeholder Engagement: Raise awareness of our work and build our profile with key local and national stakeholders.
- Accommodation Oversight: Manage the development and running of the semi-independent living accommodation.
- Reporting to Funders: Manage robust monitoring and evaluation processes for timely reporting to funders and commissioning bodies.
- Fundraising: Support the Board of Trustees to secure new funding avenues in line with the charity’s objectives.
- Safeguarding: Be the main point of contact for safeguarding concerns and ensure processes are followed.
Due to the nature of the role, flexibility is required. The Centre is staffed on a 24-hour basis, and you will support safeguarding issues that occur outside of working hours (on a rota basis). Out of hours work may be necessary to meet the charity’s needs.
Person Specification
Essential Criteria:
- Experience in operations management and/or strategic leadership, ideally within a health and social care, childcare, or education setting.
- Proven leadership and people management skills.
- Highly numerate with a successful track record in managing budgets and delivering value for money.
- Excellent IT skills with the ability to learn and use new software and packages.
Desirable Criteria:
- Experience managing safeguarding and an understanding of Wales Safeguarding Procedures.
- Experience working with our beneficiary group, including children in mainstream care, secure residential settings, kinship care, Special Guardianship care, and foster carers.
- Experience with stakeholder engagement and/or public speaking.
- Service development and management of commissioned services experience.
- A recognised qualification in management and leadership or programme/project management.
- Experience working in the charity sector with a good understanding of governance requirements and the challenges in the sector, particularly in Wales.
- Experience in applying for and securing funding at national, regional, or local levels.
- Understanding and experience of implementing a trauma-informed approach.

The AFRUCA Child Protection Family Support Service sits within AFRUCA as one of our most impactful programmes targeting families from a range of ethnic backgrounds across England and Wales. The service works closely with local authorities children’s services in cases involving families on child protection plans or in court proceedings. We provide direct one to one training and support for parents to aid their ability to provide appropriate parenting and ensure a safer, happier home environment for their children.
The AFRUCA Child Protection Service currently has a team of five qualified social workers and supports over 50 families each year. We also provide a therapeutic service where children are being reunified with their parents. We are establishing a child protection legal drop in service for families in contact with children’s services and an advocacy service for parents in the child protection system.
Most of our families are referred by local authorities children’s services as a result of cultural and religious practices which are deemed harmful to children’s well-being. We offer qualified social workers who do not wish to work in the statutory sector with an alternative approach to practising social work where empathy, kindness and support is key to our work with families. Our ultimate aim is a reduction of children in Black and Ethnic communities going into or remaining in foster care. We are recruiting to a new, national lottery funded role of Communications and Events Officer. This role will be central to our publicity and social media strategy going forward. The postholder will support us to develop a coherent, data compliant approach to sharing our news, updating our platforms (website, social media) and developing hard copy materials such as leaflets and easy read information to share with our growing community. They will also take on the planning, preparation and delivery of our community facing events, working collaboratively with the rest of the team to ensure we are able to deliver at least 2 seasonal family friendly activities each year and at least 2 community fundraising activities. They will collaborate closely with the Fundraising Officer to ensure that we also produce materials to enable people to fundraise and awareness raise for us in their own communities.
