The Domestic Abuse Marginalised Communities Worker will provide support and interventions to those affected by domestic abuse to empower and support and break the cycle of domestic abuse throughout their journey with Stop Domestic Abuse, regardless of risk. The Navigator will be committed to family work and proactively work to recognise and implement solution focused actions to ensure eradicate domestic abuse from families lives.
The Domestic Abuse Marginalised Communities Worker will provide additional expertise to the wider team and enrich the service with specialist knowledge and guidance relating to victims who may experience additional barriers to accessing support from our service due to their ethnicity. The Lead Navigator will develop initiatives, workshops and training packages for both internal and external professionals. The role will encompass peer to peer support, direct one-to-one support to victims who may be at medium or high risk of harm, whilst also engaging with communities and local organisations in the local area to improve our response to domestic abuse. This role does not involve the line management of staff.
The Portsmouth Service operates as one team, and all staff are responsible for taking referrals for all aspects of the service, offering immediate support, advice and assessments to clients or people contacting the service, welcoming families into refuge and completing relevant paperwork, and ensuring the smooth running of the service. This will include providing cover when required for absent colleagues to ensure that the core functions of the service are delivered and responding to changing demand in service provision. The Portsmouth Service is a team committed to whole family work, when safe to do safe, creating a family journey through the service.
The Portsmouth Service is staffed 9am-9pm Monday to Friday and 10am-6pm Saturdays, Sundays and Bank Holidays. This role’s working pattern will fall within the hours of 9am-5pm Monday- Friday.

This is an opportunity to join Refuge as Independent Domestic Violence Advocate to supporting women and children who are impacted by domestic violence. You will work closely with victims of domestic abuse from the point of crisis, to provide high quality independent advocacy and support to survivors of domestic abuse at the highest risk and their children.
The job involves working within a multi-agency framework consisting of the MARAC and local partnership protocols and procedures that prioritise the safety of survivors. The post holder will empower survivors by providing them with emotional, practical and personal welfare support. The job involves ensuring that women are provided with a safe, supportive and welcoming environment and enabling them to access their rights, make decisions and increase their life options. The job involves informing survivors of the full range of civil, criminal and practical options that might increase their safety.
This role includes attendance at the office in Warwick district. Travel around Warwickshire for client appointments is essential to role, therefore use of a car essential.

Responsibilities
Impact Strategy and Reporting
- Ensure that all reporting is aligned with both funders’ requirements and the organisation's broader impact goals, while preserving its independence and vision.
- Lead the design, review, and implementation of BLP’s impact framework and monitoring, evaluation, and learning (MEL) strategy, ensuring alignment with organisational goals.
- Provide support to both Business Launchpad (BLP) and Tooting Works (TW) by designing and delivering training on Monitoring and Evaluation (M&E) methods, ensuring teams across both organisations are equipped to confidently produce and apply evidence-based work
- Develop and oversee the implementation of monitoring tools and processes that provide actionable insights to drive data-informed decisions.

Hounslow Young People is Supported Accommodation Service for young people and young parents aged 16-25 in Hounslow. The Service encompasses a mix of units across six sites supporting 63 vulnerable young people and 19 teen parents.

Job description
1. Organisational leadership and people management

Work with the ED and SMT to ensure a values-led and positive organisational culture is reflected throughout ways of working, internal communication, policies and processes, and all team activities.

Line-manage Senior Management Team (SMT) members, operational roles and other roles as necessary (currently Head of Development, Head of Communications and Engagement, Head of Policy, Advocacy and Research, and Operations Manager).

Chair weekly SMT meetings.

Background
The Ubele Initiative was established in 2014 as an African Diaspora led intergenerational social enterprise. About The Role
As a Ubele Programme Coordinator, you will be a member of the Community Wealth Building hub supporting the programme manager by overseeing administrative tasks, coordinating learning programmes, communicating with our partners ensuring resource availability for the project team from project inception to completion.
Main duties and responsibilities
1. Programme Coordination & Collaboration
Collaborate with the CWB Director and Agbero Programme Manager to coordinate the delivery of learning and training within Agbero2100.
Serve as the first point of contact for the Agbero2100 London programme, handling and redirecting enquiries as appropriate.

Hospice at Home’s core service is its skilled team of Registered Nurses and Healthcare Assistants who provide exceptional care and support in people’s last year of life and at end of life, also providing additional services such as Lymphoedema, Bereavement and Family Support, Befriending, Occupational Therapy and Complementary Therapy.

Based: This is a hybrid role and can be based anywhere within the UK. You will be expected to work from our modern open plan offices in Embassy Gardens at least one day per week. Pact , the Prison Advice and Care Trust, the national charity for people affected by imprisonment, is seeking a new Director of People to join its Senior Leadership Team to ensure effective and efficient delivery of our people and learning and development goals and our strategic business plan, and to help shape our workplace culture, as we continue to grow and develop.
Reporting to the CEO, this role is critical in ensuring that our c400 colleagues and 500+ volunteers have the values, skills, and workplace culture, that will enable them to thrive, and deliver excellent services. In addition to acting as a strategic business partner and trusted advisor to senior leaders, you will have the professional business administration and leadership skills to help us build the right business processes, systems and structures, for maximum efficiency and cost effectiveness, so that our managers and frontline workers can focus fully on delivery. You will help us modernise, to keep our core costs as low as possible, so that even more of our resources can be spent to support people to cope with the impact of prison, and live good lives after release. But you will be more than your technical and business skills. You will be a people person too, and a role model and ambassador for
Pact’s ethos and values.
You will take a strategic leadership role in developing the capabilities of our managers, developing and implementing our business plan and people strategy, in alignment with the overall goals and values of the charity that have been developed over 125 years. You will lead initiatives that foster a sense of engagement and community and a ‘one team’ approach, for our dispersed workforce of small teams that deliver services in c70 prisons and a range of other locations across England and Wales. You will help build a culture of trust, collaboration and inclusion.
Key responsibilities include shaping our approach to talent management, and developing our recruitment and retention strategies, including embedding EDI into all aspects of the management and development of people to ensure we are able to attract, engage and retain a diverse and inclusive workforce. You will also share our passion and commitment to facilitating opportunities for people with lived experience of the criminal justice system to shape our thinking and be part of our workforce.
It is essential you are MCIPD qualified (or have evidence of working at this level) with senior HR and workforce development experience, including implementing your strong working knowledge of employment law and HR best practice and delivery of learning and development. You will also have experience of managing change, systems and business process improvement. As an experienced manager, you will have the skills to lead and inspire our People Team which includes the Training Manager, and Heads of HR and Volunteering as direct reports.
